food is great and the people that work here are awesome and always friendly. It’s a little hidden gem. Highly recommend you try it if you are in the area.

Great gyros. I’m from NY and there food is authentic. Salads are big enough to serve 2 – 3 people. good customer service. Reasonable prices

EVENT: A Christmas Road Trip up North… stumbled across this cute little hole in the wall… so glad I dropped by! FOOD: (1) LAMB and eggplant salad — OMG! SO, SO amazing! Since we were on the road, we had to get it togo. It came in a huge togo box! TONS of the goodies — lamb and eggplant, salad, feta cheese, olives in a balsamic dressing… delish 5 stars! (2) LAMB Gyros — Man! The best I had! The white sauce… with lamb and fresh lettuce in a soft wrap — AMAZING! A must, must GET! DRINKS — we got some Snapple, $ 2 each **OVERALL: MUSTGET — LAMBGYROS! AMAZING … and if I come back up North… Definitely coming back to this place again! It’s so GOOD!

This place is the Greek that I yearn for from the Midwest, and the french fries are amazing. I’m always impressed with the service and Ukiah is blessed by this restaurant. Most of the food is probably from major distribution. But its great. Love is cooked into that gyro.

Have been coming here for years I’d say since 2008. Spiro is a great guy our shop PitStop is across the street so we don’t have to go far for lunch. At one point he even made us a breakfast gyro, something I’ve never heard of, but man was it something! The gyro special is our go to. The lamb is always tender and reminds me of a kobé meat the fries are just perfect and the baklava is a treat. Always friendly, always welcomed and always recommended.

I really miss Spiro’s traveling food trailer that used to come to the Auburn Home Show’s in the Spring and Fall, really really miss it. I think it’s been a year or so now! I might have to travel across the state to Ukiah to get my Falafael fix! Their Greek Food trailer is all I have experienced but I googled their restaurant and just might have to find a reason to come visit. Love their traveling trailer food menus. !

Fun authentic Greek experience with the owner cooking and yelling for your order from the kitchen. He’s armed with a zillion jokes, especially about the American money which he is a fan of. He had everyone chuckling in the place. Small one-man operation and FAST! Sometimes he has a family member working with him. FOOD: Truly excellent lamb gyro and fries, and lots of it, at a lower price than I was used to in Orange County and other big cities. No credit or debit cards, so bring some American CA$H with you.

First impression: Small and tucked away but once your inside there is a very nice young man at the counter and a friendly cook who came out to talk to us when we were finished eating! One, if not the best greek food i have had the pleasure of experiencing! Very happy my friend suggested it for lunch! Cheep, friendly and fast!

Got the gyro combo special(lamb gyro and fries on the side for 8 bucks). I’ve had tons of these throughout my 4 months of travel in Europe and I have to say this was the best lamb gyro I’ve ever tried. The meat was well-seasoned and not dry at all and the sauce was out of this world(extra garlic-y!). A must try when you’re traveling through Ukiah.

Don’t let the small, dated appearance fool you, deliciousness is hiding inside. The lamb is tender, the veggies fresh, and the yogurt sauce perfectly tangy. He’s super quick too, even faster than fast-food joints. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been a regular at Spiro’s for a while now – as a vegetarian I love the falafel gyro. It’s my regular go-to. The service has been consistently great and the quality stellar. It would be nice if they had more seating and if they were in a more central location(the parking and location are both horrible) but alas… Plan to take your food ‘to go’ and remember to bring cash! More fresh/healthy drinks would also be nice. Not attractive-definitely a hole in the wall, but excellent food and service. I hope you’re not disappointed. I come by weekly or biweekly, depending on how often I’m in town these days.

I’ve been here a few times now. The gyro’s are good, most of the time. Last time I went I got a gyro, and the meat was burned. When the owner, Spiro, is there, the food is great, but when one of his daughters is there cooking, food quality goes way down. Very disappointing. The fries are a hit or miss, sometimes they’re done right, other times they’re soggy and saturated with oil. I probably won’t return here… Don’t want to take a chance of one his daughters making my gyro, that I payed my hard earned to get.

I got the lamb gyro and home style fries. Delicious, and my total was under $ 10. The staff was very friendly and my food was ready quickly. I will definitely be going back.

This is some serious Gyro. I got the lamb gyro, which was amazingly fresh and tasty. Tomatoes, lettuce, tons of lamb, smothered in fantasticly bold Tzatziki. When I finished it I got another one, which made the adorable owner grin :)

Spyro really makes this place special and the food is amazing too. My first time trying this place I didn’t notice the sign that says cash or check only. Spyro let me take the food and told me I could come back and pay later. I even offered to let him hold my I’d or take my Information but he didn’t want it. Nice to be trusted in this day and age and I promptly paid him that evening as I said I would. In regards to the food I have now tried both the lamb and steak Gyro and they are both fantastic. The meat was freshly grilled upon ordering and the gyro contained romaine lettuce, chopped tomato, white onion, and a Greek yogurt sauce on flat bread. I suggest ordering the fries along with it as they are excellent as well and it makes a nice meal. At $ 8.75 out the door I had a satisfying meal and found one of my new favorite places.

One of the best food you can get in ukiah! Highly recommend getting the beef gyro. The owner is an affable man and pretty funny to converse with. Only downside is that they only take cash and aren’t open on the weekends. Other than that, awesome joint!

Best lamb gyros I’ve ever had. I’ve been here numerous times and the food is always great! The owner is funny and friendly, makes you feel right at home. I’ve compared every gyro to Spiro’s and none can beat them.
