My boyfriend and I went climbing outdoors for the first time with Joel and Diane and couldn’t imagine a better experience. The price was ridiculously cheap for how long you’re out there and how much you can learn (Joel taught us how to belay on an acl — score!). They’re an awesome duo– really laid back and have an expansive knowledge on the area and climbing in general. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully do a little caving next time too.

Joel and his team at Vertical Adventures are great! Experienced, personable and friendly, Joel has been climbing and taking groups for 30 years. We loved bringing our dogs along and enjoyed the variety of climbs which challenged us throughout the day. We can’t wait to come back out again soon! Thinking of taking a group of friends and renting out their cabin next time for a unique and affordable option.
