Solid Overall My wife and I went here yesterday, and I’ve been to this location a number of times over the years. This location doubled as a gas station in the past, but the pumps were removed a number of months ago. The parking lot was opened up, but remains a little small. Still, there are about 12 spots(another location I reviewed only has about 7). A bench was recently placed outside(it can seat about 5). My wife and I sat on it after we made our purchases. There were 2 employees. They both worked hard, but were limited in English. The guy who served as our cashier also could have been more friendly. Some mats were piled up outside. They were moved while we were outside eating, but they briefly posed a tripping hazard. There’s a little bit of room to move around, and the store seems to be kept clean. My wife and I were both interested in buying a donut, but they looked too«doughy.» On the plus side, there was a wonderful selection. «The food on there hot dog turner is always overdone like its been there all day. I visit there for the coffee on late nights but I don’t buy the hot food anymore.» I partly didn’t buy a hot dog because some of the items on the hot dog roller were clearly overcooked(these items looked wrinkled and shriveled). In general, 7-Eleven does a great job of promoting their hot products(this has especially been true lately in terms of their pizza). In my experience, though, the employees need to prepare them better(a hot dog that I bought at another location last year was great, but more recently I had a pizza slice and an order of Doritos Loaded that were kind of burnt). There’s a decent selection of magazines. Hustler, um, stood out to me the most(I had to quickly remind myself that my wife was with me– I was also low on money). I wasn’t impressed by the Slurpee selection(at any given time, though, there are 6 flavors to choose from). The fountain machine features 16 selections. The fridges boast a solid selection of soda and alcohol. The Airheads Bites that I bought were $ 1.29. This seems to be the standard price for candy. : Pepperoni(.97 oz.): $ 1.19. Score: 7⁄10. My snack stick was disappointing. It didn’t even taste like pepperoni. The Original sticks can be greasy, but they’re quite a bit better. In general, the selection of beef jerky products is weak. : Lemon Ice Gatorade: 8.5÷10. You can currently get two 28 oz. bottles for $ 3.20(this includes the CRV charges). I’m glad that the flavor is back(it was introduced about 20 years ago, and I was shocked when it stopped being sold). When the bottles are really cold, it’s like you’re drinking water with a smooth lemon tinge to it. : Bön Appetit Apple Danish($ 1.89): 7⁄10. My wife was more forgiving than I was. I found the apple danish that we shared to be okay at best. It was just too light in taste(like not many apples were used). Coffee(12 oz.- $ 1.35): 8⁄10. My wife was fairly pleased with her cup of coffee(she didn’t see any napkins, and I felt a little bad when I found them and basically took them all). There’s a Redbox kiosk outside. (Also outside is a big recycling bin for donating clothes and shoes.) I don’t love this location, but it is worth going to.

The store is nice and tidy, we used to go to the Redbox. The place isn’t bad, it’s the ghetto people that come from around the area that make it bad.

As far as the business goes, the employees have always acted professional and nice and helpful, the items in the store are fresh and filled with the necessary items. what i dont care for is the people coming up to my car and asking for money, alot. Not just a couple times but at least every other time i go.

With this being my local 7-Eleven, I do have to admit that my rating is a bit biased. The only downside to this place is that it is in a massively shit area(right on the edge of Decoto), so you get your share of scummy crowds. Customer Service: I’ve never experienced any rude customer service here. Sometimes, there is a bit of a language barrier though and the employee doesn’t quite understand what I’m looking for(I wanted to buy video game cards and they had no idea what I meant). However, everyone still tried their best and that’s what matters really. — As far as variety goes, you have your standard 7-Eleven stock as well as a Red Box outside for movie rentals. They do make an effort to keep the inside of the store clean, although from the outside the parking lot looks really dirty and dingy. This 7-Eleven is in a bad area, but the employees try their best to make up for it. All in all, it’s not so bad and they do fine with their given circumstances.

I have been a couple of times over the years. The crowd here can get very iffy. Last night, I saw 1 guy totally high on something and a couple of other people drunk and barefoot. They have a red box outside which is nice. Would not go here if I had options but«convenience» store is right, works if you need pick something quick on the way somewhere.
