I should have listened to Joanne C’s review. I have had my lashes on for two weeks, and they’re falling off as I type this. I made my appointment and had to call her myself the day before to confirm the appointment. When I arrived she was running late so we didn’t start on time. It took more than two hours to get a full set of human hair lash extensions. I have had it done before elsewhere, and I won’t be comgin back here. I told her I was getting my lashes done for two weddings two weeks in a row and I wanted lush glamorous lashes. Well I did get long lashes. Perla is nice, but when she talks, her hands stop moving and it took her a LONG time to apply each lash. She used so much glue that it looked more like flares versus regular lash extensions. When she first finished I wasn’t happy with it, and to her credit, she added additional lashes until I was happier. For the first few days I got several compliments. However, lashes started falling out after the first day. I followed all of her directions [ie, didn’t splash water on my face, no long steamy showers, no heavy exercise] and two weeks later, and 70% of my lashes are gone. The sealant must have had the opposite on my eyes. Oh, and she only accepts cash, which is aggravating. Overall, I can’t recommend going here for lash extensions.

I got my eyelash extensions here, and they look beautiful. Its been about a week in a half, and they are still holding up pretty well. The lady that does them is easy to talk to and is very nice and answers all of your questions too.

I’ve gotten my eyelashes done at least a dozen times, all in LA/Orange county. But during my stay up in the Bay, I came across Asami on Unilocal, and decided to try it out. Location: The building itself is an office building, where there is a hair salon on the 2nd floor. It’s located inside the salon, inside an office space. The room itself is very nice and peaceful. But I found the general location to be odd. Product: You get the option of a C or J curve, and the lengths all vary. Perla used 3 different lengths on me so that it would look more natural. After applying all the lashes, she puts on 2 coats of sealant(which was a first for me). The lashes looked okay. They were a lot more sparse and thinner to what I was used to. And they all fell out in about 2 weeks. Service: The entire process took 2 hours, which was double to what I’m used to. But during the time, Perla made pleasant conversation and was extremely nice. Overall, I was slightly disappointed. There were too few lashes, which made them not have the luster which I was expecting. I ended up using fake adhesive lashes for when I went out at night to help the extensions. I paid $ 125 at my first appointment, which included a free refill. I went back for my refill after 4 weeks. It was right before Halloween weekend, so she was pretty busy. But I was able to make an appointment with her that worked with both her and my schedule, which ended up being at 9pm! When I got there, she explained that I needed an entire new set and not a refill(which were to be touch ups). Rather than making me pay or turning me away, she gave me a full set for free like it was the refill. I appreciated her making time for me last minute and doing the full set for free. She is a super nice person, but the product is still below my standards.
