A great Filipino restaurant go to. I ordered a barbecue sticks plate, it comes with two barbecue sticks, rice, and sautéed vegetables. The barbecue sticks were really good. They were well coated with sauce and cooked really well. One barbecue stick was a little burnt but still edible. The sauce was really great, it had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I actually got really full off the plate. I gave this place three stars because the restaurant isn’t very clean. The tables were all dirty or had drippings so we had to clean it ourselves. Overall the restaurant is decent sized and lots of tables. Their service was really quick and good too. They have you pick up your order where you pay and there is also an area with forks and spoons and various sauces for free. Also a side note it’s a bus your own table kind of restaurant. I would definitely come here because their food is really good.

If I could leave NEGATIVE stars, I would. 4pm order. Pre-paid. It is 445pm. Can’t pick up because it’s not done. WTH? Never again. Thank you. But NO thank you.

I liked their longsilog and lomi! It was tasted home cooked and yummy, unlike jollibee’s very commercialized selection. The ambience could be better though. And they need more staff to attend to customers and clean up. But if you’re there for the food, and for a budget, you’ll be happy.

VERYPOORSERVICE w/poor quality food — I am usually not one to complain, but I am a very dissatisfied customer and I would give this business a zero if I could. I came here on a Thursday with my parents to eat a late lunch. Filipino man who is taking orders is rude and gave us the incorrect order. My mom even repeated herself three times before paying. The man did not even give us a receipt so we could not exchange the wrong meal to the right one. No apologies offered. The place is so dirty, I already lost my appetite before my meal even got to me. If you’re looking for a good filipino place, just go to toppings down the street. They HAVE work ethics and look happy to work there. A good attitude does not cost anything.

Short and sweet: –Dinuguaan and Menudo are really good but, it depends on the cook, as the flavor/ingredients are inconsistent. –Why put Pancit Miki Bihon on the menu if it’s NEVER available to order? –BBQ is meh. –Prices are decent. –Portion sizes are good, for the Pancit Malabon, they pack the container full. –Staff, well they’re nicer than the other Kadok’s locations I’ve been to. Yet they’re all disorganized, running back and forth from the kitchen to the cash register, and never to the tables to bus the dirty dishes. –Cleanliness, typical for your hole in the wall Pinoy spot — Sticky floors, dirty tables, and smells like grease. –PLEASE do not compare their food to your Mom’s, Dad’s, Auntie’s, Lola’s, etc. cooking. There is NEVER a substitute for real home cooking. Overall, I’d only get food from here again, if I needed a quick fix, only as take out, and that’s calling my order ahead of time, so I don’t have to stick around.

This place is GOOD! Food is flavorful and every bite really does make you want more. The food here kind of reminds me of Aristocrat in the Philippines. This place ISCLEAN everyone who says this isn’t, obviously has never worked in a fully functional kitchen. A lot of people are so used to Americanized Filipino food and forgot what actual Filipino food is like. This comes pretty close.

The Inside: pretty dirty. The floor is dirty, there were plastics on the floor that no one in the staff bothered to pick it up. The used table were left uncleaned the whole time I was there. nobody in their staff bothered to clean them. the staff just passed by it and no one cares. They were all in the kitchen. I wonder what their kitchen looks like if you know they leave everything messy. I was impressed by how techie they are when it comes in advertising their menus. they have 3 flat screen TVs to show all their menus. But who cares if they leave their restaurant messy? Staff: they dont care about the cleanliness of their restaurant. I dont see professionalism which is very sad. Food: I didnt eat much this day but their vegetable lumpia and bangus sisig. After a few hours, I have to run to the bathroom! Stomach upset from eating their food. Price: reasonable but no im not coming back…

I called and ordered a food tray at 9 am to pick up at 3 pm on a Saturday. I came at 3:15 to pick it up to give myself some leeway just in case it wasn’t ready. Of course I go the counter to pick it up. Yup, they haven’t even started cooking my order. 45 minutes later at 4pm, I am still sitting there waiting for my food. Why is this place so unprofessional? Forget this place.

The Mom’s wanted to come here for Breakfast before her special day. I think this place was bought out from previous owner. It’s small inside and kind of chaotic. We all ordered the standard Filipino Breakfast(garlic fried rice/sausage/eggs) if you don’t want runny eggs, make sure to let them know that you want scrambled as that is not the standard order. The food was okay, nothing too spectacular, prices very reasonable. You could probably find a better Filipino Breakfast spot in Union City.

— plenty of tables with dirty plates and trash. — never saw anyone wiping tables or cleaning. — wall had tiny flies crawling around. — walk to the restroom in the back revealed their lack of cleanliness in the kitchen. bought: chicken inasal plate(7.50). — rice was mushy and old. Chicken tasted old and not fresh. Save yourself money and the trip. The wife says the location in Milpitas is much better. Don’t believe me… see for yourself… peace out.

Totally unsure what to think about this place based on the Unilocal reviews. Some high some low. My father in law make some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had. That makes it hard for a place like this to score well with me, at least I recognize that. He always gets food to go from here, he likes it so it must be alright. The food service was super slow. There was no one else there so I think it was just slow because that’s the way it is. The food was great. I little greasy but really good. I am going to go back for take out next time. The ambiance is less than favorable. The place was sort of dirty. Even though nothing was going on in the restaurant dirty trays and garbage were left on tables for the entire time I was there. You get what you pay for. Maybe they were taking so long to let the food cool down.

I have to admit Kadok’s Restaurant has the most tasty and delicious«Pinakbet» and«Dinuguan» cuisines, amongst the crowded Pilipino eateries on Dyer & Alvarado Sts’ corridors of Union City. Nevertheless, I have to give Kadok’s only«2″ stars due to their poor service. When I say „poor service“, I mean the actual time it takes(Kadok’s) between the paying for your meals at the counter and the time you received it… waiting time at Kadok’s has NO meaning whatsoever. I ordered a large tub of „Pinakbet“ and „Dinuguan“, with a side order of „Kanin“ to go. It took them closed to 30 minutes to complete my order. My assumption is that… Kadok’s is using the Chinese restaurant, business method which is… DONOTPREPARE the meals beforehand for the customers but rather prepare it once the actual food is ordered & paid for; thereby eliminating excess food at the closing of business hours. Now… if you’re wondering as to „how does one ran out of food“ in the mid-afternoon?»…well, they probably purchased limited amount of produce & meat stock which causes the meals to ran out at untimely basis… which leads to bad management. I don’t know about you but that’s the very reason people«go out to dine» or «order take outs»…because one doesn’t have the«time» to cook; one is hungry and one must have the food now… not 30 or 45 minutes from now… that’s insane and ridiculous of doing business.

Location: In the plaza where Seafood City is at. Plenty plenty of parking but this plaza is always packed! Customer Service: With the new management that’s taken over the ladies in the front are always nice when we come in. Décor: From what it use to look like what I can say is, the table arrangements are the same and the TW which always has TFC on is still up. They have a little area where you can get all your utensils, saw-sawan, etc. Behind the counter is a big screen TV which features the menu for the day/combos. Well I have only gone here for the breakfast ever since the new management has taken over. Presentation of Food: So good!!! Look at my pictures for more details, but it really is comfort food at it’s best! How did the food taste?: Like I said sooooo good! I love all the silogs and the tokwat baboy is sooooo good! It’s my new favorite go to Filipino breakfast spot. Overall Experience: It was good when it was Kalindas and I’m not quite sure why the star ratings are so bad, I haven’t gone through to see what other Unilocalers have said. Which I have a feeling they are rating the old management! But what I can say is with the new management that took over the food is good and I would say even better! They have silog combos with a free soda and it’s a decent price for a good amount of food!!! I always always get a silog order or if not the arroz caldo with the tokwat baboy! Please if you came here in the past just know it is of new ownership from what it looks like! Would I Come Back?:I’m here almost every Sunday after church! Love their breakfast!

You can’t be too harsh when the food is cheap… Free canned soda with combo. and free coffee with purchase! Tocino(cured pork) Bangus Silog… Perfectly fried fish, not oily at all. The tocino was cooked really well, very flavorful BUT there was a lot of fat. The fried rice was fluffy and had great flavor! Tapa(beef) Bangus Slog… Fish was the same, which shows consistency, so that was good! The Tapa. geez where to start. Portion was small, which was fine bc it was too salty! It didn’t have the tapa taste. Seemed like it was cooked ONLY in soy sauce. It didn’t have the slightly sweet flavor tapa usually has. Dessert… Turon(deep fried banana and Jack Fruit) LOVEEEE their version of Turon! The wrapping was light and crispy, the banana and langka combo was perfect, and the brown sugar drizzle just added the perfect touch. Don’t take offence to it but once your order is up, YOUPICKITUPYOURSELF. It’s just how it works. Service was just ok. Maybe a 3⁄5.(Minus half a star) Just like another reviewer said, not ALL their food is available.(minus 1 star) Prices.definitely less than $ 8 for a full meal. (Keep in mind $ 10 minimum credit card charge) Overall, I’d probably come back and try their other items.

Kadak’s has a counter where the ordering is done. didn’t see any steam tables. several specials lit up in neon signs. ordered. 5ish minutes later, food is ready. obviously, precooked. eats: pancit malabon(5.5) –had complex flavorings, –boiled egg slices, shrimp, meat bits –msg aftertaste too. take outs: –casual, courteous service. –lots of sitdown room.
