What a beautiful little local gem! One of it’s kind in Union city. We tried baklava and cheese pie and both were amazing. Next time will get some cookies too — even my baby loved the sampler. I hope this store will continue to thrive.

what a find! We were searching for a house in the area, and once done with the realtor, wanted to get something quick to snack on. I look around and see the sign Liberty Brand Pastries with some words on Greek.
I said to myself,” I must see what this place is”. Went inside, the décor takes you about 50 years back. The menus look like were printed at least like 15 years ago, but the owner Maria explains everything about the menu. When I got home I saw that she said the exact words that were written on the menu, like she has them on her memory recorded!
The cookies are delicious, we got a round bread with sesame seeds on top that disappeared in my house like magic.
I ordered today 2 strudel stripes for tomorrow (needs to be ordered in advance) and cannot wait till noon tomorrow to pick them up.
