Perfecting Braids

It has been a while since I had braids and was worried that my hair was too damaged for anything. Not only do my braids look great. Whitnee gave me great advince on how to fix my hair issues. I will definitely return.

My wife is from South Africa and has only been in the States for a month and some days. Thank God for Whitnee. Had a Relative of a relative flake on braiding her hair. Found Whitnee on Unilocal by chance. She did a fabulous job and both my wife and I can’t stop smiling. I highly recommend her to all in need of a fashion statement. Straight up AWESOME !!!

Whitney was wonderful! I haven’t had braids in 6 years and was a bit nervous to get them again but I’m trying to wear more protective styles to grow out my hair. She asked me what I wanted and how I wanted my hair and checked in with me throughout the process. I have a busy schedule and when I called to get an appointment, Whitney was able to accommodate me and scheduled me for that day. I was very impressed with her customer service as well as her skills in braiding. I am extremely happy on how she braided my hair plus she braids super fast. If you want someone who is reliable with good service and skills; I would totally recommend her.

I was in the market to have a sew weave done. I had debated on it for weeks. I went to a consultation at another shop in the Alvarado district of Union City and was not happy with the outcome. The lady was unaware that I was a cosmetologist myself and have had my fair share of extentions put in. I’ve tried all types. She was questioning why I wanted my hair done and was way over quoting me. She was a bit rude and worst of all she was not willing to go out and purchase the hair for me. I then stumbled upon Whitney. I had always driven past the shop he is located in and just thought hey why not. I called the number on the window and was provided with Whitney phone number. I called and was able to get a consultation the same day. I went in to meet with Whitney and she was so pleasant and sweet. We chatted about what I wanted and asked my budget. I know that the work is not easy and hair good hair does not come cheap. She gave me a realistic price on decent hair and you know what a else she went on the hunt for the hair. Now mind you my hair is an off blonde tone and she matched it perfectly. She was even able to fit me in for the installation the next day. She like all good styles are an ear to hear one’s stories and venting. And she did not seem to mind the gab gab gab that I was dishing out. After no time the instalation was complete and I couldn’t be any happier. She truly is amazing and I will be recommending her all that I know.

After experiencing over pricing and unprofessionalism I finally found a braider that is none of that. I called her last night and she squeezed me in early this morning for singles and got me out in 5 hours. We spent whole time laughing and talking bout random things, the time flew past. Shes very accommodating and has a beautiful spirit.
She’s cheaper and faster than most which was great.
She does men, women, and kids braids as well as weaves.

I’m new to the area and I’ve been looking for someone that does the type of exceptional work that I’m used to getting. When I went in to the salon I was impressed by the professional environment and the friendly demeanor of the stylist. I felt comfortable right away. She made sure we had a thorough consultation so that we both understood what I wanted. (These are the types of qualities I look for in a stylist).
The finished product was AMAZING to say the least!!! I got my box braids done about a month ago and I LITERALLY get stalked everywhere I go. They still look soooo good and I love them! Needless to say I’m happy to share Ms. Whitnee’s contact info whenever I’m approached. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
