I keep trying to give them a chance but each time I’ve come here its, worse than the previous time. How do you run out of straws at a place that serves shakes? I’m here right now… the floors are dirty, trash on the floor. One of the servers is yelling at the tip of her lungs constantly. Service is snails pace at best. This, will be my last visit here. And I will be calling the corporate office to let them know what, a joke this place is. Oh I forgot to mention another time I was here they only had plastic cutlery… I asked why and was told that the late shift didn’t feel like washing dishes… so the threw them away !!! Who does that ???

The WORST customer service I have ever had at any restaurant. Ever. I have been in the drive thru for 32MINUTES. Not exaggerating at all. I was about 7 cars from the front. When I asked how long it would be when I got to the ordering box, the lady got an attitude. Avoid this place from the hours of dawn to dusk.

Came in were not busy at all. Sat at our table took our drink order. 2 more groups were sat 5 – 10 mins after us. We shared a waitress with one of hose groups. We didn’t get our drinks until that group did. The other group then got there food before we did and there were more people in that group. Got our food and and ordered no cheese on my burger. It came with cheese. When we left the manager did comp my burger. He was very polite and could tell he was trying to run a good establishment.

This has to be the slowest food place I’ve even been to in my lifeeeeee. Not to mention they have the drive thru lane closed off so there’s no way to escape this hell hole. Never again in the history of steak and shakeism(lol) will I ever, ever, ever visit this place again. It was so slow that my milkshake was completely melted and warm by the time I got to the window. Go to the steak and shake in newnan, it’ll take you less time to drive there and come back, seriously.

If I could, I would give this place a 2.5, but I would round up to 3 for price and service. I have only been to a steak and shake a couple of times before, but this one seems fairly typical. You get what you pay for and it’s a fair burger and fries for under $ 5. For the price, there isn’t much that can beat it considering it is a sitdown restaurant, and that there’s not a lot of burger options in this area. The burgers themselves are cooked in the ‘smashed’ style and turn out pretty thin and a little crispy. If you like very moist, think burgers you should look elsewhere. The fries are like big shoe string fries, and they put just enough to make a medium order at a fast food place. Like I said, you get what you pay for and this place is a fair deal all things considered. And the service is pretty fast considering the area(sat, ate and paid in under 30 minutes).

Service was SAD. Just walking in there was an awful smell. The posted signage said wait to be seated. Okay. But how long? The host told us after waiting at least 5 mins. So we seated ourselves. And waited until I got up to go to the register to order our food. That’s when the waitress after passing by us in her section said she didn’t know we were waiting. Floors and bathroom were nasty. The same Host when here family came in she hurried to pull tables together to seat them as well as herself while taking there order. Nonetheless Sunday’s afternoon shift NEEDS supervision. Honestly it gave the location a bad rep. And the food was cooked to hard. Focus more on customer service and team work. To Much Horse Play.

It takes a lot for me to give a bad review but I must say corporate. Should step in and do something about the service it was empty and had to wait to long to be seated about ten min and we seated ourselves and still there wasn’t a waitress or attending person to take so we left…,

This place has really bad customer service. I have ordered through the drive thru multiple times but most of the times I’ve been disappointed. It seems like they’re always mad at the customer and don’t try to make us happy with the service. Today I went at around 2:30 and the girl working the drive thru first said there’s no large cups for a large drink I ordered. When I drove to the window they had a stack of large cups then I asked and she said they didn’t have lids then she proceeded to make a scene about it. Upon asking for ketchup she said they were out also. & I asked if there wasn’t any in the whole restaurant which is unbelievable. On a separate occasion before today I ordered a chicken sandwich which they prepared for me wrong with only bread, chicken & mayo. It’s supposed to come with lettuce & tomato.

It saddens me to make this review, but like others it needs to be said. This steak n’ shake won’t last long. There have been multiple times I’ve come and only to receive poor service. Tonight I come in and the young lady gets our table, only to see the table is Nasty. She leaves and says she is going to take our order, but takes too long to come back. It’s not very busy at all. The least she could have done was get our drinks or quickly bring water. I’m completely turned off and decided to dine elsewhere. My nephew came, he wanted to eat here. I just ordered what I really want and that’s a shake. The floors are nasty and I can imagine what the bathroom and kitchen looks like.

This place is horrible. Went to drive thru to get a milk shake it took 10 minutes to get to window then once at window another 10 minutes to get shake. Then employees playing and bull shitting. I will never go here again. I also called corporate. Oh and the food quality sucks. This is not good.

Worst. Place. Ever. I’ve been here twice for lunch. Both times it took over 40 mins for our food to come. I’ve sat and watched people come in, place to-do orders, get their food, and leave. I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Great idea for possible variety in this area with one exception. They can’t seem to get it together for breakfast the employees can’t seem to be open on time. Absolute confusion just went there to get breakfast they still had the drive through blocked then when I ordered and attempted to pay the girl couldn’t even open the register open. I just left I don’t need this kind of drama first thing in the morning.

Bless their heart… I just can’t with their service. First of all they either need to fix their speaker box and/or their headset. Every time I come here it’s like I’m on a hidden camera tv show. The order takers aren’t customer service oriented and I have to almost make them say«good morning, how are you today» jeez. Not to mention that it takes FOREVER and I’m the only one in line! ohhhh I would hate to imagine this location on a busy afternoon! The manager tries to remedySteak and shake please offer a little training to your employees because this is ridiculous… Chick Fil A doesn’t have this problem, hmmmm wonder why?

We came in to order two shakes to go and left 45 minutes later with not even a refund. They were extremely disorganized and the staff would walk off randomly to talk to friends or leave the building. For«fast food» it was NOWHERE near fast. It was extremely frustrating and annoying, especially since most Steak and Shake places are delicious. Avoid this one at all costs.

This might… scratch that… is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Slow doesn’t begin to describe it. Incorrect orders, waitress arguing what we ordered«you didn’t order drinks», etc. But while we were finishing up a delicious burger without napkins but with our menus still on the table, the newly installed manager came over, asked open ended questions, and thanked us for the feedback. The second star is due to his efforts. Overall a memorable experience but we will stay away from«Jai» as our waitress.

Wow, hate to concur with the previous review, but the growing pains here are out of control. I stopped in the night an ice storm was expected, wanting something quick and warm to take to work. I thought Steak ‘n Shake chili would be great. Steak ‘n Shake clearly thought otherwise. A take out order I thought would take 5 minutes took over 40, nearly making me late for work. I don’t understand in what universe getting a take out order of chili takes that long, when there are less than a dozen people in the dining room and the drive thru is not slammed. I was so pleased that when my order finally arrived, the top was half off and the chili had spilled all out into the bag and all over the packs of oyster crackers they included. Fortunately, my order taker was standing there when I looked and took it away. Probably not in my best interest, I suggested maybe putting it into two single containers, but I still don’t know that those two equaled up to a bowl vs. cup of chili, and did I get ripped off. This arrangement proceeded to take more than another five minutes, and oddly, no crackers appeared in the bag. I think along with all the other inspiring events of the visit, the failure of anyone to offer me a complimentary soda during all this wait was quite admirable. I’m guessing the manager saw nothing wrong with a customer lounging around in an empty booth for over thirty minutes, because I was offered absolutely no compensation for my horrible visit. Worse, when I reported the incident to corporate, they were just as detached. I found this curious for an operation that spontaneously sends out many coupons at any given moment for many items on its menu. All I received was a thank you and an indication that the incident would be handled. No coupon or certificate to retain my business or give me a reason to return. Absolute loss on both ends, because like many others, I *love* their burgers and addictive fries. But this kind of dismal service and lack of consideration to the source of the company’s income and profits is inexcusable. Bye, Steak ‘n Shake. – Parking note. BE sure to pay close attention to the signs to enter the parking lot. If you enter the wrong driveway, you will be trapped in the drive thru lane, and there is NO way to get out of this trap for quite a little distance. Very badly designed.
