I used to like this place until they started to let the oldest boy work the register and phone to take orders. The kid has ZERO manners, NO understanding of how to tend to a waiting customer and always makes mistakes on orders but NEVER acknowledges it… This all adds up to very bad business practices. I just got so fed up dealing with him that I stopped going altogether.
They need to really train this kid and tell him to gain some common sense. Sheesh.
You (generally speaking) may be used to or accepting of crappy service and if that’s the case, this place is for you.

I haven’t had chinese food since moving to the east coat from California. until last night! We had some food delivered, as I was feeling under the weather, and this place hit the spot.
Hot & Sour Soup — sooooooooo good. and huge.
Chicken w/garlic sauce — really good
chicken chow mein — just okay
dumplings (steamed and fried) — these were good. there seemed to be too much dough for my liking though.
overall the food was very good. if you’re looking for some cheap and quick take-out or delivery, or have a craving for chinese food. you wont be disappointed.

After trying many places, I was ready to give up on ordering Chinese ever again. BUT, thankfully I found Taste of China on Unilocal!By far it’s the best in the area. Sesame chicken cheese wontons and beef and broccoli are our favorites so far. Friendly, fast, and efficient service too.

Great Prices, open late with lots of fresh food. Never a bad choice for me when I am leaving the office and need a quick bite. Very good for Americanized Chinese food options. You can’t go wrong. I always stick with my two favs… Chicken and Garlic and General Tso.

I love this joint. Yummy in my tummy, cheap prices, good fried wings, hot n sour soup and they use white meat in their sautéed dishes. I refuse to eat at other quick Chinese take out places after eating here.

I started ordering from this place after reading reviews on Unilocal.The food was good! Much better than the typical Chinese eatery. I love their Szechuan Bean Curd and the Fried Rice and Vegetable Egg Roll is always a good and simple order. Unfortunately, my mother woke up the next morning suffering the side effects of MSG consumption. For this reason alone I probably won’t be ordering from here anymore. Otherwise we never had an issue with the service and the food was typically really good with large portion sizes.

Taste of China has been my go-to Chinese food place since childhood. While it’s never immediately obvious, over time you’ll see that the place is run by very kind people. Their food is very good, portions big, and the prices reasonable. This is a local business I am always happy to support. really good but they don’t know how to actually listen to special instructions w the orders. extra this or make it spicy etc etc. they just tell u ok over the phone and make it however they want

Delicious Americanized Chinese food, ideal for pick up and delivery. Soups are especially good, best wonton and hot and sour soup I’ve had in a Chinese place. The dinner combos are very reasonably priced. The service is friendly. Great place to grab a late night dinner!

This is the best take out/delivery Chinese place in Weehawken. The combos are usually enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The Hunan Chicken is delicious. I used to live around the corner from this place and moved out of their delivery radius. I haven’t found Chinese food like this since.

There is something satisfying, so incredibly satisfying, about consuming a mountain of delicious Chinese food, realizing you are so stuffed that you couldn’t possibly eat another bite, then realizing that you only spent $ 5 on said mountain of food.
They have 30 dinner combinations here, and they’re open until 11PM. This is perfect for the working stiff who is often too tired to cook when he/she gets home. If I try all 30 dinner combinations (this is my new mission in life as of today,) it’ll cost me all of $ 150.
