I have had back aches for over a year and happened to meet Dr. Jones at the Farmer’s Market in Newpark Mall. He had the $ 20 deal which others have mentioned about and i decided to give it a go. After the first 2 visits (x-​rays and discussions), i tried 3 trial sessions, which went well so i signed up for 4-​month treatment which Dr. Jones recommended. Given that my insurance did not cover any visits, he gave me a price i was comfortable paying.
Long story short, the adjustments starting making a difference and the backache is now almost non-​existent.
The staff (Megan at front desk and Erika, the masseuse) are great as well.
Overall, highly recommend!

I am an active 24 year old male, and before I went to Doctor Jones I felt in pretty decent shape. I was an active swimmer and I went to the gym regularly. However, I did experience severe back pain, and my left shoulder would «tweak,» as I called it. When benching free weights my left shoulder would give out. It especially gave me trouble when I swam the butterfly stroke (my favorite for it’s speed and power), and it got to the point where my swim instructor told me not to do that stroke anymore.
I met with Doctor Jones, and he took films of my spine. He described to me in detail the problems with it and showed me a pathology board that shows what nerves are affected by which vertebral segments of the spine. My hips were slightly twisted, making them slightly off center. This physiologically made one of my legs slightly longer. My spine very slightly and gradually curved to the right, and my lumbatic curve wasn’t as curvy as it should be. It put a lot of pressure on my L4, which explained my back pain and occasional sciatica.
The real problem, however, was my neck. Instead of having a natural curve, my neck was straight. It put a lot of pressure on my C6. Go figure — that’s the segment responsible for my shoulder/​arm problem. Additionally, due to the absence of a cervical curve in my spine I had poor neck rotation for my age. So, I started care.
Fast forward 6 months: I have completed correctional care and am now on wellness. And my shoulder has not «tweaked» since! I swim the butterfly stroke almost every day, and my form has greatly improve due to more rotation in my neck. My second films show monumental improvement — Dr Jones constantly says he wishes more people my age would come in, because spinal decay and aging don’t just happen when you’re 50.
It is a lifetime accumulating minor (or major) traumas, the effects of bad posture and sleeping habits, and not taking care of these problems soon enough. I am incredibly thankful to Dr Jones and his staff for the superb care that they provide. This isn’t a one stop shop where you have one visit and your problems are all fixed — no chiropractic office should be that way! Doctor Jones personally cares for all of his patients, and he will set you on a comprehensive schedule to get you in the best (and lasting) health possible!

I have had back problems for more than 20 years, and have had off and on chiropractic care. I have had good and bad practicioners. Dr. Jones is wonderful. I walk races, and when I first started seeing him, I was unable to do a 5K without having to stop and stretch in the middle. Now, I can go the full length without even thinking about my back. This has improved so much, I was able to complete a half-​marathon last year WITHOUT HAVING TO STOP AND STRETCH MY BACK!
Dr. Jones is firm or gentle as necessary. I am a fan for life!

Dr. Jones deeply cares for his patients. I have a complicated spine case, so I won’t just trust anyone with adjusting my spine. He did a careful and through examination of my complex history. He spotted something that were of long term concern. He spent some time and really thought about the best course of care, which I greatly appreciated. He gave me a clearly outlined program of care. I’ve been going to him several times a week for the past several months as part of my program of care. I’ve seen significant changes in the trouble spots I was experiencing.
Dr. Jones and his staff are excellent, professional and deeply want to see their patients get better. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Jones for both injuries and preventative care.

I’m 27 years old and I had horrible pain shooting down from my lower back to my left ankle. I used to work with toddlers and the wear and tear from bending down was taking a toll on my body. After the first few adjustments the pain went away! He truly cares for his patients and he is very helpful. He takes the time to hear your concerns and does thorough exam and consultation.
I was a little skeptical at first because I had a bad experience with another chiropractor. However, I’m so happy that I started receiving care from Dr. Jones. Every time I leave the office I feel so much better. I have referred friends to receive care from him. If you’re looking for a chiropractic care I highly recommend him.

I have always had a great experience with Dr. Jones. I first met him at Newpark Mall and he did a quick exam on my back. I worked at Starbucks at the time (and now I have a desk job), so I would start hunching forward and rounding my shoulders from standing all day. My upper back would always be sore and I would constantly get headaches from neck strain.
Once Dr. Jones x-​rayed my back, he was able to locate my problem areas and told me how he was going to help. After my first visit, I immediately felt relief… The pressure on my back and the strain in my neck started to go away. After a few visits, I started standing up straighter (I stood an inch taller than before), my headaches were gone, and I felt more active. I work out almost everyday, and let me tell you, having better posture at the gym (or anywhere!) can make you feel 1000x better.
Dr. Jones and his staff are very friendly and will always make you feel welcome when you first walk in the door. If you have any pain or discomfort, I recommend seeing him first. I always recommend him to my friends and family whenever they complain about back or neck discomfort.

I’ve been going to Dr Jones for a few years now — he first helped me with severe sciatic issues when I wasn’t getting any relief from my Kaiser docs. Most recently I’ve been back to seeing him after a car accident — he took my case on contingency meaning he’s treating me with no up front payment and won’t get paid until the insurance settles AFTER my treatment is complete! This is a huge relief for me because I am currently unemployed.
The office staff is friendly and helpful at every visit. I highly recommend Dr Jones! For the person irritated with the video and all that — you need to go through certain procedures — you wouldn’t let your dentist pull teeth without xrays why would you let a chiropractor just adjust you without knowing where you need work?

Jones is a rip off. He cons people by giving them wellness checks worth $ 20 of half hour massages, but not before he makes them pay more they signed up for, and when he doesn’t get it from them, then he loses all interest, and starts to be rude to them. He is a at best a conman. Please don’t go there ever.

I only went to this office because I got a free «wellness check» for donating at Petco but based on the few reviews here I had high hopes.
The receptionist: Wonderful, she was very polite and quite honestly fun to chat with. If this review as just on her it would be 5 stars.
The Chiropractor:
1^st visit:
He has you watch a video instead of doing the initial talking… seriously. A video… that tells you he’s here to listen to you and treat you like doctors used to when they actually knew their patients. But this is in a video…
I get taken in to one of the exam rooms and wait. He eventually comes into the room gives me a long spiel of how nothing should hurt and how I don’t know anything about him and such. Ok… He does his initial exam and leaves and the receptionist comes back in to take me to the x-​ray room. Wait, wait, wait… get x-​rays taken. After the x-​rays he makes this big deal about bringing some one with me to the consultation. I STILL don’t understand why he made such a big issue of this.
2^nd visit:
I decided to bring a close friend with me. We were going out to dinner after so why not. Besides Dr. Jones made such a big thing about me bringing some one with me. Well guess what… now its a big issue that I DID bring some one with me. He pulls me into a room and tells me that this isn’t «show and tell». OK WTF? Eventually we go to the consultation room and watch guess what… another video. I really wish he’d just do away with the videos. Then he comes in and starts interrogating my friend about her thoughts on Chiropractic Medicine. Even compares the acceptance of body work to racism. Ooooooook. Eventually we go over my x-​rays. I need work. I still do. Not going to get it from him as he doesn’t take Kaiser and has such a freaking chip on his shoulder.

The Massage:
Part of the wellness check was a free 30min massage. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to an hour for $ 20. I realize it won’t be a full hour but it started late and I only ended up with 45 min. But that’s not the worst. I asked for her to focus on my back, neck and shoulders only. The back was mostly efflurage and the only times she started to go deeper was on bone. When she started working on my arms she just started digging and it was flippin painful! I have tendonitis in both foreams and forgot to notify them. I was terrified that she was going to start doing that crazy digging over the affected areas (yes I know them not knowing is my fault). Finally she went to the neck. First by deep stripping over very tight areas, no warm up. Then more efflurage. Her hand wrapped around my throat several times. There goes relaxation. If she had continued on I would have stopped the massage.
So no I would not recommend this place to anyone…

I have been going to see Dr. Jones for a couple of months now. When I started seeing him my hands would be numb almost every morning when I woke up. Now I don’t have that problem. If you want to work on your health he is the guy. The massages I get from Erica are the highlight of my week!

This is the best chiropractic office going. Dr. Jones is a tremendously supportive doctor with a goal to get you back doing what you are used to PLUS some. I love is can do attitude and his sense of humor.
His office staff couldn’t be better and his massage therapists are excellent. This is a great find!!!

I’ve had back/​shoulder problems for a few years now, and after having to miss a ski trip due to injury, I went and saw Dr. Jones. He was recommended by a colleague, and I am happy he was! My back and shoulder feel great, and I am now on a «wellness» plan, which means I go weekly, so that I keep feeling great.
The staff is great, friendly, and flexible when I need to change my appointments. Another added benefit — Dr. Jones has two great massage therapists as well :-)

I stumbled upon Dr. Jones while walking aimlessly (and tipsy) at the Festival of the Arts in Fremont. They had staff walk around announcing that they were giving out free spinal exams so I decided to check it out. After the exam, they offered me a consultation, x-​rays, and a personal report of findings for $ 20. It was an offer I couldn’t resist.
My first visit with Dr. Jones was incredibly thorough. He takes the x-​rays and walks you through exactly what you need to know about your body and alignment. He is very knowledgeable and explains things in a way that really make sense. He takes the time to answer questions helps you understand what is going on with your body.
Dr. Jones is amazing! He isn’t your typical doctor. He is personable, laid back and is honestly concerned for your well being. His adjustments are comfortable and effective. Whenever I get a headache or feel tension in my neck or back, I can always rely on Dr. Jones to relieve me of my pain. I’ve referred some of my friends to Dr. Jones and they love him as well!

Dr. Jones and his office staff are top notch! They give you very informational pamphlets on chiropractic, keep you informed, and he does EXCELLENT work, never too much for your body to handle…
