So happy to find a non-​fast food restaurant for lunch in Union City! Xpress BBQ is a tiny place but it serves up good portions at reasonable prices. We ordered a $ 5 lunch special (5 options to choose from — we chose Rib tips) served with, bread, FF & a canned soda. Also ordered a pulled pork plate (½ lb meat), bread, w/​2 sides (I chose pot salad & fried okra.) The pork plate was twice the size of what I could eat for lunch so I took it home for dinner. Oh, that reminds me, all the food is served in to-​go containers & plastic ware — but that was fine with us!
The staff were super friendly. The dining room is quaint (tiny) but most were taking their food to go & we had no problem finding a table. The parking lot is big enough for 6 – 8 cars & sits right off the road so getting in and parked can be tricky.
Very happy with our dining experience!
