I normally don’t write reviews for liquor store but a horrible experience I had with another location in Union (Morris Ave/​Liberty Ave) have prompted me to do so.
This place has a huge selection, friendly people, and very reasonable prices. The counter person even helped me bring some of the liquor back to my car since they weren’t that busy. I’ll drive a little further and go to this place!

I have been a patron of this location on at least two occasions that I recall and have been either overcharged or they attempted to overcharge me on alcoholic goods both times. The first occasion I purchased two items and I think they rang one up twice, the older woman at the register insisted that she didn’t and I had to argue with her before being charged the correct amount. The amount was obviously high as it was about 50% more than what I should have paid. The second occasion was Thursday last week I purchased less than $ 75 worth of alcohol pretax but was charged over $ 83 after tax (should have been $ 80.04). The register they use doesn’t allow you to see the price of goods as they’re being rung up or the total. The older man I’m assuming the owner ringing up the goods doesn’t give you a total amount and just asks debit or credit. I had to request the total twice before being given an amount over $ 83 dollars. I then asked him to run through the prices of all the goods and he confirmed I bought three items each $ 14.95 and one item for $ 29.95. I didn’t have any method of calculating tax at the time but the total amount should have been $ 74.80 pretax and $ 80.04 after tax. I thought and pointed out that $ 83 and change seemed high, closer to 10% tax but the older man insisted he was right. After I arrived home I sat down and ran through the numbers realizing that I was overcharged more than $ 3 on this last occasion. I went back to the store 2 days later and looked at the prices on the shelves and confirmed the cost of the items I purchased which came out to $ 74.80 pretax. Based on my experience the store has either attempted to overcharge me or has successfully managed to overcharge me on alcoholic goods.

Everywhere else is a dump, would check here for a better selection then what the area is offering

DO NOT GO THERE! I went there to buy lottery ticket, but they don’t let me cash in my old winning ticket which is only $ 3. After I tried to communicated with them which I don’t know what they were talking about, I got mad, so I left. When I was just about to drive, the owner (old maybe a Indian man) ran out and saw the trash can was knocked over, so he assume it was me. He then went crazy and threaten me to hit my car with a glass bottle. He said he is going call the cop and want me to stay. I wait for him went back in to the store, then when I just about to turn on route 22, he jump out of the store, throw the bottle and hit my car window! The bottle break and thank God he didn’t break my window or I will definitely sue that ASSHOLE!
