My boyfriend and I come here almost every weekend. We always order the everything bagel with egg, cheese, salt, pepper and ketchup. The bagels are fresh and delicious. The coffee is good too, light and sweet the way I like it. Tomorrow is Sunday, I know what we’re eating for breakfast!

I’ve been here so many times, my family loves the food here. On busy time sometimes it takes a while to get the food but still worth of waiting. Always freshly cooked Sandwich and its cook per order. Very good selection in the menu.

Stopped by today with my college girlfriends for some breakfast before the start to our busy day & was pleasantly satisfied. I ordered a Honey Wheat bagel with bacon egg and cheese. My girlfriends ordered the same. I was also enlightened to know that they offer turkey bacon!
Had my sandwich and it was delicious.
The service was friendly and fast (:
Will definitely come by again if I am in the area!

The food is good but the counter system sucks. You should have people at the counter taking orders and then have people making the orders. Instead, someone takes the order and then disappears to make it. Now you’re left with a long line of people at the counter not getting helped because everyone is working on the orders they are taking. Sooooooo slow. Also, take payment when we order so we aren’t all standing around and then going back to the counter to elbow our way back into the crowd to pay. Poorly run system.

I came here for lunch. I waited about 10 minutes and wasn’t even greeted. I was looked at but ignored. Never got to place my order. I had to just walk out. I don’t know how they have customers with no customer service. I would never return or recommend this place. I would give“zero” star if it was an option.

Ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese and got 2 slices of Taylor ham… Never ever have I gotten a Taylor ham with only 2 slices… Very poor sandwich… All bread. I will never come again. :(

Good bagels. Decent prices. Sometimes the cashiers don’t look very happy to work there. Every time I go there the cashier always seems to take orders from the customers behind me when I am obviously the next in line. It’s always the same cashier guy too. Other than that complaint it’s an «okay» spot for me.

Second time I’ve been here. Both times employees are sticks in the mud. The second time i was looking forward to a taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich. i get there between 2pm and 230 on a sunday and they close grill at 2. I was pissed. Do they want to make money? I wont go back here again. I wanted to give them another chance and they blew it. I actually bought a bagel with cream cheese but then went to my usual spot Manhattan Bagel. They close the grill at closing. I got my taylor, egg and cheese

My friend’s mom swore by this place, but not only did I leave with the wrong sandwich (unwanted cheese and the wrong flavor bagel), but the man behind the counter couldn’t have been any slower and less friendly if he tried. I’ll take the 711 sandwiches over this place quite frankly. Did I mention it’s located in the parking lot from hell!!!

I am a true regular at this place for over a year. Great hot and iced coffee, fresh bagels and sandwiches. I have met a lot of locals here as well as turned friends on to the place. My Dad lives in Delaware and stocks up when in NJ. My favorite place to stop before the work day or after my Sunday work out. The owner and staff are top notch!

My first time here cause I had to buy 3 dozen bagels and this was the cheapest place in the area to do just that. Service went above and beyond, they even helped me carry it all to my car. My bagel was delicious too. It was a refreshing start to my work day to deal with really pleasant people. Thanks guys!

The bagels are good, however they are usually very understaffed. I always wait more then 10 minutes to be served and unfortunately they usually get my order wrong. This is the 3^rd time they put ketchup on a breakfast sandwich when I clearly ask for no ketchup.
Another place I am taking off my list in Union. It’s a shame because I really want small business’ in the area to thrive, however I don’t have money to waste.
Owner is an awesome guy, I’d imagine the quality of staff is the issue here.

I thought this place would be great considering they have huge competition around the corner– Manhattan Bagel. On a Saturday morning they were definitely understaffed and the woman behind the counter was in a horrible mood. After having to repeat my order multiple times, she still got it wrong and we were in there for about 15 min– way too long for a bagel place. My coffee was also burnt.

There is a lot o fcompetition in the Five points area for bagels, coffee and snndwiches. B & B gets top ratings on all bases. Th eenviornment is clean, open and welcoming. Threre are several tables outside. The bagels are comparable to H & H or Einstein’s in NYC. The staff are all friendly and competent. Visit there once and It’ll become your favorite!

GREAT bagel place. Their bagels are so fresh and they have a good variety of cream cheese. This kind of place is hard to come around.
The staff is super friendly and the menu is probably anything you could ask for at a «bagels & beans» place.
Definitely worth trying. and to keep coming back to.
I’ll even throw in that they have a lot of choices in their fridge– from snapples to milk to mash.

Bagels & Beans is a fresh place that opened within the last 6 months in Five Points. I’ve ALWAYS been a Manhattan Bagel kind of man, but I decided to give this place a shot since it’s located right down the street from me (within walking distance).
I gotta tell you — GLAD I DID. The bagels here are DELICIOUS. They’re big. There’s a good choice of ‘em. They’re dough-y. They’re priced well. The sandwiches made by these people are also delicious. They ALWAYS come out hot, and pair it up with an O.J., and you are SET for a nice, Saturday morning breakfast.
They also have a nice choice of rolls (their Kaiser is a dream), as well as mini bagels. If you live nearby, DEFINITELY check them out.
