Fine Finishes

In my opinion Scott seems to have a distorted view of the truth. He was the one who walked off the job and kept our money. If anyone has any questions regarding the quality of his work should go to my Facebook page Fine Finishes by Scott Evitts does bad work. The pictures speak for themselves and that should put an end to the views by his daughters boyfriend (Patrick H) that he does quality work. He leaves paint spray on the walls and dishwasher. Attention to detail was horrible. Left hinges off cabinets, marks on cabinets, didn’t fill in holes on drawers for new knobs.

Warning, do not use this guy (Scott) or his company «Fine Finishes» unless you are looking to be ripped off. I gave him $ 1150 to repaint some kitchen cabinets in a townhouse I was buying. I ended up losing the home because of lender issues and he never did the job. He happily cashed my check and didn’t do a single bit of work for me. He never even game me the sample of the painted wood he said he was going to get me. When I called him to explain what happened with the lender and me losing the house, he offered his apologies and said he would refund my money in 3 weeks. 3 weeks went by and no response at all. I contacted him again and he said it would be mid-​week by the time I received the refund. Still no refund and now he doesn’t think he should give it back at all. I’ve had to file a claim in small claims court to address this matter. Think twice before using this company. He’s not an honest business owner.
