Shopping for furniture is a pain. I scoured through every furniture store along US-22E in Union and found most of them rather overpriced. In addition, most store owners were pushy and would not stop following me around their store. How are customers supposed to think when all the owners do is stalk you throughout the entire place? Henry was the guy working here the day I came by. I found him super friendly and really helpful with all customers, not just me. He answered all of my questions, from the colors available to availability and delivery of various pieces. The selection of furniture is pretty decent, but definitely limited when compared to other stores; this place is strictly sofas, love seats, and maybe a few bed sets. While the place is obviously known for their leather furniture and«convertibles,» they also sell sofas, loveseats, and recliners that are made with different upholstery fabrics like microfiber. Though Unilocal classifies this place as pricey($$$$), in comparison to the other furniture stores I’ve been to in the area and in neighboring cities, prices are much lower here. The packaged deals are great if you’re aiming for nice pieces of furniture within a modest budget. For example, Stuart from Furniture ConnXion in Kenilworth wanted to charge me $ 1300+ for a sofa and love seat combination, while Jennifer Leather is offering nearly the same product for a little over $ 759(without tax). One star is removed for the ridiculous delivery charge, though. $ 100 is their delivery rate for ONE piece of furniture; additional pieces are an extra $ 80 in delivery fees EACH. Then again, I saved myself hundreds of dollars with the relatively lower prices here. I may have to wait a month for my furniture to arrive – the furniture I ordered are all out of stock – but at least I’m getting nice leather and non-leather furniture for a pretty good deal. By the way, they offer no discounts; I already tried.
