I’ve been to this place several times because it was convenient. They are never friendly and very rude. Prices are a bit high compared to other places. Tonight is the last time I would go there. I asked for a certain type of wine and they didn’t have it. I wanted to ask more question and she brushed me off. You will not get my business anymore!

It is difficult to maintain objectivity here, as Larchmont Liquors has been a less than ideal neighbor to those who live in the surrounding area. Whether through new ownership or a moral turnaround, they no longer appear to be the enabler of underage drinking that they once were. Since many neighbors and I actively boycotted this store for over a decade, it is surprising that it took so long, but I’m happy that it did. As for the inadequacies of their parking lot encouraging on-street parking at a narrow and heavily traveled intersection, that may take even longer to resolve. This is a small, tightly-packed store with very limited selection; they have many of the basics. Their pricing is a shade lower than the typical local liquor store. I’ve always walked here, or crossed the street from the Shop Rite, to buy a few bottles of Guinness for a pot of lamb stew or a lottery ticket.
