If it’s true that his office is finally closed then the world is a safer place!
Dr. Mitterman is a MURDERER! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET ANYWHERE NEAR CENTRAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Do a google search on this man and read the horror stories about although the dogs that went in for routine procedures and were killed. Or you can do some research about all of the times he has had his license suspended or had charges brought up against him. He has SUBSTANCE ABUSE ISSUES & SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING. He killed my beloved dog in Oct. 2008 and then harassed me nonstop, calling me while he was drunk and trying to offer me a replacement puppy and asked I not report him.
I have been contacted by several people who have also had their lives effected by the actions of this MONSTER! Please Do Not Bring your pet near him and please come forward to the Board of NJ Vet Affairs with any complaints about this terrible man.

It is with great sadness that the office of Dr. Mitterman is closed. I have had only wonderful experiences with this doctor. He cared for all of our family’s dogs and cats for years! And I have never been disappointed. He always put the care of the animals first and was not concern with getting paid. He had a heart of gold. When my Mom’s cat passed away. he held my 85 year old Mom’s hand while she wept. I witnessed him providing free care to elderly people who loved and cared for their animals on a limited budget. Why couldn’t there be more loving vets like him. Where do we go now? What vet gives you their cell and home number to call in an emergency? A vet dedicated to the love of his life. caring for animals…“Dr. Mitterman”.
