I had given him a beautiful show for a sole replacement.
I got back a misshapen shoe, with the width considerably narrowed, and the shoe considerably shrunk in width & feeling uncomfortable to wear.
Thee side walls of the shoe were ripped, the insoles were not glued and comes out every time in remove my feet. His audacity: He asked to charge extra for glue job of insole. Fluff keeps coming out of my shoe… Did not know they existed. Insides look damaged too.
The cobber, who is an OLD Russian yelled at me for not saying «Good Job» and give him praise on his shoddy work.
He also says, «IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY, DO NOT COME BACK, I have other happy customers.»
Can you believe it?
I dont know if it is me or what, Inspite of many decades, this guy hardly speaks proper english. So its impossible to communicate what you want across to him
The shop is cluttered with stuff, old electronics, golf clubs, sewing machines, old microwaves ??? What ???
Another thing I have experienced about RUSSIAN’s.
They always have bad attitude and demeanour that they carry back from their soviet times. Rudeness is one of them.
My advice: DO NOT GO THERE !! Go elsewhere.

I bought 2 pairs of woman’s shoes in on a Tuesday. 1 pair needed a sole and heel repair the other just a heel repair. All repairs in this shop have to be paid for in Advance. So I paid $ 37.00 with the promise they’d be ready Thursday.
When I returned on Thursday the sole wasn’t repaired. I was told, rather nastily, I never mentioned that I needed this and I was called to ask if I want it. I never received a message or call.
This wouldn’t be so bad if the repair guy wasn’t so mean about it. He was practically yelling at me. At this point all I wanted was my shoes back and never to return.
I don’t plan on going back ever. He could’ve fixed my shoes to perfection but being called a liar is not worth it.
The job they did on my shoes was mediocre at best, nothing outstanding. They shined 1 pair but it smells awful now. I will most likely take them somewhere else to be repaired properly and fully.

Went here for the first time today and so happy I did! Walked-​in with no appointment and took me right away for a shoe shine. Friendly, great service, good quality, good location, and reasonable price. Will be coming back again.
