Best burger around… so delicious! fries and shakes are awesome. I love this place

Picnic Burgers.
A very good blend of meat with no hormones. Simple American Cheese. AND THEN, we’ll serve it to you on grocery hamburger buns…
Burger King has better buns and even has sesame seeds.
I can make these at a picnic. Heck I’ve had better burgers at picnics and they weren’t $ 8!!!
The obtrusive branded logo on the bun makes it even worse.
The burger was decent but the flavor was bland
Their slogan should be: NO HORMONES NO ANTIBIOTICS NO GOOD BUNS NO SATISFACTION GUARANTEED
On this particular day, the service was terrible. There was no one at the register when I came in. took maybe 5minutes before an employee came to the register.
People are comparing this to Shake Shack!!! Yea okay
Great ambience, vibe, plenty of chairs and roomy space, WiFi is a plus. Improve the buns, improve the beer selection, and improve the service.

Best service at a burger joint. Staff came over to ask us how we were doing. Then came to our table and offered to refill our drinks and bring us water. Then came a third time to offer us free ice cream sample. :)

The food is good, but if you’re looking for a nice authentic burger I’d hit up Five Guys. The options at BurgerFi expand to a bigger palette with all their topping options (at extra cost) and they have a veggie burger option. The addition of beer is nice in the warm weather, but the ice cream options are what really ties it all together. I’ve been there just for their ice cream and shakes actually.
I got the classic cheeseburger and wasn’t impressed although I finished my meal. The fries are very yummy, but again I prefer Five Guys since they don’t give you an abundance unless you order a bucket. They’ve got some good flavors for the fries if that’s what you’re into.
Overall good burger place if you’re feeling adventurous. For the classics burger and fries I wouldn’t recommend it first. Stay for the ice cream!

Shake Shack, Five Guys, Smash Burger, Burger Fi, etc… these «high quality» «fresh» fast food places keep popping up all over the place, and although It becomes increasingly difficult to differentiate or judge one from the other, I am a fan of what they are doing. The name is a bit confusing, i had to google that it was short for «Burgerfication»…I thought it was like an internet burger café (WiFi + Burgers?). Burger Fi boasts some delicious double burgers, hot dogs, really good fries, a nice beer/​wine selection, super thick rich milkshakes, and throwback «Real» Coca Cola products. The double brisket burger with blue cheese is awesome, as is the B.A.D (breakfast all day) burger which comes complete with fried egg, bacon, and hash browns on it. Or you can build your own burger to your liking. A bit pricey (lunch for two will run you $ 30+) but you get what you pay for, and unlike McDonalds or Burger King, you don’t feel like garbage after eating it.

Awful service. Cold French fries and there was no one there so I can’t imagine what it would be like if it was packed. Will never be back

I’ll start with the downside so we can end well on this. We walked right in and placed out order at the counter with no problem. It was a little more than we wanted to spend. (If you’ve been to Bobby’s Burger Palace, the prices are comparable.) Still, the options looked promising. In all, our order consisted of two Twenty-​Eights, a vanilla sundae, and a red velvet shake. We sat down, and our shake and ice cream were brought within five minutes. Five more minutes passed, and then ten until we had been waiting for about 20 minutes. One of the employees came to our table surprised that we hadn’t gotten our food yet, and she said she would go check. So, she figured out what happened and the older lady who took our order came to our table and told us the order machine had fritzed, but it was fixed and out food was being prepared. In order to remedy what happened, we were offered an item from the menu complimentary. I opted for the fries my mother ordered the onion rings.
The topside is that I’d heard about Burgerfi, and it lived up to my expectations. It seemed intriguing but I only just went tonight. I’m a big fan of the burger joint. Shake Shack is definitely favorite… and this beats Shake Shack. I might rank it just below Bobby’s Burger Palace. I mean the meat on the burgers are well seasoned. Everything about the food is fantastic. The fries were fresh and I mean right out of the grease. The onion rings smelled great, and those were apparently really good. My red velvet shake was AMAZING. It had real cake blended into it, but it wasn’t overly sweet or artificial tasting *cough* Burger King. There was enough food in my order for me to take some home and be completely satisfied.
All in all, I would eat there again.

Went here because my tattoo artist recommended it. I’m always up for new recommendations, especially ones that aren’t so local. (I live on Long Island… anything 10 mins away is considered «far» to us)
I must say. I was NOT disappointed.
I ended up ordering the Breakfast All Day Burger: Angus burger, American Cheese, Bacon, Maple syrup, Fried egg, Hashbrown, Grilled onions, Ketchup. Me personally I can’t stand ketchup, so that was the only thing I had removed from the burger. Again, was not disappointed! The salty/​sweetness of this burger just puts your tastebuds for a wicked ride. Absolutely delicious. It is a bit on the messy side.
We had a slight hiccup at this establishment tho. When prompted by the cashier, «To stay or go?» my friend and I made it very clear the order was TO GO. When the food was being pumped out, it was all being placed on a Stay Tray. Then when we were called for our food it took more time to replace the burgers back into the cooks window so that they can pack it to go. Once again It was only a minor hiccup that was a bit of a pet peeve for me that I felt mentioning, nothing that had major reflect in my review.
The inside of the place was very clean. Also they had tho’s new 300 flavor coca cola machines.
All and all, if i’m in the area, I would more then likely go back for a visit.

This is one of those times that the imitator may just be better than the originator. I have always enjoyed Shake Shack but I think BurgerFi has it beat. I found the all the food to be of better quality here. My girlfriend had the breakfast burger and she was in heaven. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and the meat was so juicy. I think this place has the best of 5 guys and Shake shack in one. The décor was very funky and cool. Can’t wait for them to open one in queens.

Entered the establishment and saw what appeared to be a crackhead sitting at a table with no food in front of him. He was wearing a winter coat and his eyes were popping out of his head. Placed my order with an older woman who looked like she was in a substance abuse program and sat down with my buzzer and waited for my food. That’s when I realized the crackhead actually worked there. He was bringing out food to customers with his jacket on. While I waited for my food I went up to fill my soda. Literally ²⁄₃ of the selections were unavailable because the syrup was out. Then the woman proceeded to scream out my order number. I’m confused as to the purpose of the buzzer since she just screamed the number.
Food was ok. Didn’t seem overly fresh. There was grease all over the dining room floors which didn’t increase my appetite.
If this place replaced the entire staff and hired a manager I’d consider returning. Otherwise forget about it. It’s downright scary in it’s present condition

Burgerfi is a great go to when you need something quick for lunch. Being that I work right down the street, I frequent this location often and I LOVE their veggie burger! The best part is the option to have it ‘green style’ or wrapped in lettuce with no bun.
Taste wise — the veggie burger gets 5 stars in my book. That being said, I went with a 3 star review for some other reasons. 1. Price. The burgers come alone so if you would like fries, onion rings, etc it all comes at an extra cost. Today I had a veggie burger, fries and a drink and it came to almost $ 14. For a quick burger place this seems a little much. 2. The service is unreliable. The manager at this location is incredible and even offered us free shakes for being Hofstra employees. That being said, today was my first time eating at this location when they did NOT mess up my order. Being a new location, I am sure it’ll only get better over time.
Hofstra folks — they give a student/​employee discount so make sure to ask!

What I’m about to say is blasphemous: I prefer BURGERFI to Shake Shack.
It’s (sadly, for my waist) become a weekly ritual of mine to come to BURGERFI– and through my visits I’ve come to try nearly all their burgers: Vegefi, Conflicted, Burgerfi, Breakfast All Day.
My ABSOLUTE favorite (and the most cholesterol laden) is the Breakfast All Day: you get a perfect angus burger with cheese, bacon, hash browns and topped with a sunny-​side up egg, all sweetened with a tinge of maple syrup. The variety and uniqueness of the burgers here really makes it a standout. They also have hot dogs– which I have yet to try.
My second favorite is the Conflicted– which tastes a lot like the Stack Burger at Shake Shack– your favorite delish crispy quinoa veggie burger is coupled up with some good old-​fashioned beef. If I am trying to feel healthy I go for the Vegefi– which is Conflicted minus the beef patty.
The shakes are also pretty tasty– although I admit, that in this department, Shake Shack is the winner. The cup’s drizzled with chocolate prior to the addition of shake– which as a chocolate-​lover, I absolutely adore. I have tried both the coffee and chocolate– both are winners.
Fries are pretty tasty too– although not too special tbh.
Fast, friendly, convenient and fairly affordable (10% discount for Hofstra staff and students, yo) — get your burger fix here! See ya there next week!

Tiny but delicious vegefi burger. Fries were very greasy. There was no healthy side option.

Okay Shake Shack is by far my favorite place… However, this is a very close second. First the burgers are always fresh and good. You can for the most part put whatever you want only the burger. Fried egg sure why not… I love the mound of cheese fries.
Also a huge plus this location is within walking distance from the law school at Hofstra (I guess all of Hofstra as well) so I frequent it more often.

This Place Will Be Gone In No Time If It Dont Change There Ways And Since They Haven’t From The Original One It Dont Look Like There Going To.

This place used to be The Social, which I liked, but honestly BurgerFi is an upgrade. Yes, a single burger is $ 4.37 but this isn’t McDonald’s and you’re not getting a dollar menu burger. It’s big, juicy, hormone free, and completely customizable with a huge selection of yummy toppings. Plus they have draught beer! It’s a great hangout location and definitely my pick over one of the other fast food/​casual dining chains nearby. Right across from Hofstra, it’s also is a great location to meet up after class for a beer and maybe an order of fries to share (yes, they are shareable). Great atmosphere with outdoor seating. I’m becoming a regular. Thanks BurgerFi!

I work at Hofstra, so this is becoming a regular stop. I agree that the burgers are a bit overpriced, but the ingredients are very high quality, and I think it’s worth it. The custard is also very good.
The service is spotty. Some of the folks are excellent and others are borderline… Most of them talk way, way, way too much. Really. Talking and talking and talking.
I know they think it’s good service, but really, just take a breath. Maybe let people think about what they want… you’re right next to a university campus. Lots of people there are methodical and/​or preoccupied. Think absent-​minded professor. That’s a real thing.
If people say they’ve been to burger before, they do not need to hear the spiel about how great the burgers are or how you can build your own burger. Sometimes people just want to decide, or chat with their friends. Sometimes they are waiting for someone or (in my case) checking the calorie counts before rashly ordering fried, onion rings and custard instead of a burger. Or with a burger.

Grand Opening. Fist time visiting. Stopped in for lunch. From the back entryway you can hear egos of laughter and various conversation going on at the sametime. Once in. You maneuvering around a few aluminum seating chairs a tables to the ordering station. Took several minutes reviewing the menu and shakes option., while waiting in line, I glance over the entire place., noticed several things. Floor to ceiling windows the covers the entire entrance. Along with outside seating set up. Inside notice enormous mural of there advertising Angus burger. Onced I reached their cashier.
Asked for Breakfast All Day Burger @ $ 7.67. This natural Angus burger, American cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, grilled onions, ketchup. Onion rings and a $ 4.94 vanilla shake. Let me be frank. I had my shares of Angus burgers to veggie to even vegan burgers. This one rates in my top five best Burgers of NYC. This beautiful arranged burger danced my pallets happy., my clothes stained from the juicy juice flowing from this burger. The fried egg definitely complimentary to the hash browns and maple syrup. Perfectly arranged on a logo stamped bun. BurgerFi Grand Opening. With these burgers, great location near Hofstra University. Surely your business will prosper.

Let me say up front, if you are someone who is looking for a good value, scroll to the next restaurant. By contrary, if $ 6 for an order of half onion rings and half fries makes you happy because they’re the best rings you’ve ever had, then read on.
Had heard of Burgerfi before; so glad they chose this unassuming location (the former home of Wayne Chrebet’s bar restaurants) in Uniondale, close to my home.
The burgers are as good as many of the new wave of fresh ingredient places. I’m looking forward to trying the vegefi burger next time. Fries are light crispy and good, and I topped the good meal with a fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. Yumidfield!
And for those who want a nice beer or a bottle of wine with their burgers, this is your place!

First time here very nice, clean. As burger joints go this place is good kinda the same as Shake shack. Burgers are really good well made the onion rings are a must get. They have a freestyle soda machine which I always like. They give u this buzzer so they can bring the food to u. They also have floats and ice cream which look good but I was too full to get. The prices are kinda high for a burger would really be my only gripe. But other than that it was really good.
