Honestly this shop sucks. Hear me out. Micarelli Music has an absolutely killer selection of guitars, amps, and effects for all budgets. They 100% have the potential to be a great music store. However, the atmosphere of the shop is hostile and very unpleasant. The guy who is always working the sales floor when I am there has a scowl on his face the whole time and is never easy to deal with. They make it abundantly clear that they would rather you not be there if your intention is not to buy. For a lot of players, going to their local shop is the only way to experience new gear first hand, and it’s a shame that the customer is treated like an inconvenience here. I really want to like this place, but they need to consider working on their customer service.

«How do they fit all of that stuff in a store that size?» Truly this is one of life’s greatest mysteries for me. Friendly, knowledgeable service and more gear variety than those big box guys could ever touch. Boutique pedals, unique guitars, and lots of loud amps — this store truly has something for everyone… well, everyone who plays guitar or bass at least. Some of the best guitar setup work I’ve ever had done has been done here as well. These guys know what they’re doing! One trip to Micarelli Music and you’ll never give another dime to bain capital’s big box guitar store. I guarantee it!

The staff here is very knowledgeable and friendly. The shop seems small at first but one step into the back and you’re blown away with everything they have to offer. I know absolutely nothing about musical instruments but they were able to explain everything in a way I could understand. I definitely reccomend this little shop as your first stop when thinking about getting into music. They have practically everything you need to get started-even lessons!
