Ordered garlic bagel and turkey bagel sandwich. Very good bagels and apple fritters! Great little spot.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great place. We’re in Ohiopyle on vacation and headed into Uniontown to check out a quilt shop. Anyhow, checked Unilocal for a bakery and we found Yum Yum. GREAT donuts, GREAT cinnamon rolls, GREAT bagels. We stopped in and ordered some cinnamon rolls and donuts to eat there. The guy behind the counter I assumed was the owner hooked us up with some bagels on the go and we bought a dozen donuts that I really don’t know how much was in there but it was more than 12. Super nice people great place. If you are local to Uniontown go there if you haven’t and go often. If you are passing through and don’t stop you are cheating yourself. Soups and sandwiches looked awesome and pizza option too we didn’t try them but they looked and smelled great. GO There and thanks to the staff. We hope to come back when we are close by again!

This is a great shop for bagels, coffee and pastries. I stop here often because they always have a large selection of bagels and flavored cream cheeses. The service is usually very fast.

Ordered the ham, egg and cheese bagel sandwich and a latte. Generous size bagel but not noticeably toasted, piled on lots of very salty ham(which seemed made in house), what appeared to be a pre-made heat and serve egg round and a not too flavorful cheese. Next time I would just order the bagel toasted. The vanilla latte had a funny taste almost like it was coffee made from a packet. Although I did see them put the flavored syrup in I didn’t see them make the latte. Did I hit this place on a bad day? My wife and I BOTH had similar opinions as above. The bakery items looked very good but we didn’t try any. If we stop again we will stick with bakery items.

We stopped here for a late lunch while driving from DC to Columbus, OH. It was a little off route, but we emphatically did not want chain food. A little research on Unilocal found Yum Yum’s not too far off the beaten track. It was just what we needed. Our bagels had great texture and flavor, and toasted up nicely. The spinach and broccoli soup was wholesome and satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised to get a light vegetable soup without any cream – hooray! Of course we had to order a few donut holes as well, just to keep a little balance. They were light, crisp and just sweet enough. But the best part was the staff! The two servers were incredibly kind. When they heard that we were traveling on Valentine’s Day without our S. O. s and with snow on the forecast, the manager(owner?) offered to be our Valentine and gave us each a bag of bagels and a heart shaped cookies! SOSWEET! Thanks so much, you guys!

I never stopped here b/4 thinking it was a DD knock-off. Boy, was I wrong! Great coffee drinks, bagels, soups, etc… And of course, doughnuts. What really impressed me were the speciality beans available, real kona coffee — not the kona«blend» you get most places. If you just want a cup, they brew a different type each day. You can also buy a pound of your favorite(bring $$$ — good coffee ain’t cheap!). Might take out a loan and ask them to order me a pound of Blue Mountain. Talk about Yum!

To echo Bethany, if you want great coffee in a town without Starbucks — yes, there IS a town without S’bucks — this is the spot. A visit back home requires serious caffeination, and YY’s has it! Also excellent doughnuts, decent but not great bagels, plus good pastries and sandies. The local flavor abounds, and if you grew up in town like I did, chances are one or two of the many local a.m. regulars are old high school classmates.

Good bagels, good donuts. Opens early, 5AM. Small eat in section for about 16. Turkey/mushroom soup was more rice than mushroom was not too hot. bagel sandwiches were good. I wish they would add a french baugette bread. They need a website.

Thank Heaven for Yum Yum’s Bagel Café! I was in total mocha crave mode in Uniontown when I found Yum Yum’s. I remember this place from my childhood visits but they have changed –in a «Yay for Uniontown, progress is here!» Hubby and I had the best mochas, eclairs to die for, and a bear claw that looked about the right size — to have come from a real bear :) Less than $ 10! The bagels, sandwiches, and spreads all looked delectable too. And they take debit cards for the cash poor. *tears of joy* I wish Yum Yum’s a long and successful life b/c I still have relatives in the area and will need a reliable caffeine fix in the next few years.
