I’ve grown up on Lake Lemon, and spend almost every weekend here. I love this place.
It is not as large as Monroe, or as fancy as Geist (thankfully), but I prefer it over the others.
We have a party cove (the dam), plenty of room for skiing/​wake-​boarding/​tubing, great fishing, a bar with a dock (the Porthole), beautiful wooded shoreline, and great locals.

My companion and I spent Memorial Day weekend visiting his sister who lives right on Lake Lemon. Who knew Indiana could be so beautiful? We spent a ton of time hanging out next to the lake, canoeing, and going swimming off their speedboat. I also plotted against the neighbors’ three Boston Terriers by thinking of ways to lure them into the lake. Spending the night in our tent listening to the froggies was a welcome change to the hideous din of Ice Cream Truck: The Hip Hop Remix. I can’t wait to go back.
