Great quality food. But horrible service. It a close, neighborhood spot to me and I’ve found myself here always in a rush and they take forever to get the food out. I’ve even tried calling ahead and several times they haven’t started my order until I show up to pick it up. Get your act together BRC! Your food is awesome. now just make the service stand up to the food!

I go here at least 4 times a week and will continue to as long as I live in the area. Delicious, fresh juices and happily friendly staff. Sandwiches and salads are tasty as well!

This place has gone way down hill. I work in that area 6 months a year and was eating breakfast there daily last year. There has been an obvious shift in service this year. A new employee Lucy is as rude as it gets. I finally had to stop coming after the latest altercation where my order was wrong and I was told to leave my name for a replacement and then Lucy stated she was standing there when I called in and was never promised a replacement, she then demanded I bring back the food from the week earlier. Being accused of lying to get a free $ 8 wrap when I spend $ 100+ weekly at this restaurant was enough for me to call it quits. Her manager called back promptly and apologized for Lucy’s actions, but something like that doesn’t really make you excited to spend your money there. I am now eating at The Oaks Gourmet which is equal driving distance and has a very respectful staff and even better food and juices! I highly recommend The Oaks Gourmet(in Franklin Village) to anyone experiencing similar issues with the Break Room Café. I’ve also noticed that they have a lot more employees and get you your food much faster when they are busy.

I absolutely love this quality breakfast/lunch spot. If you have $ 20 to spare and need a delicious shake or pressed juice and sandwich, wrap or salad come here. The staff are super friendly, especially Jocelyn and Lucy(who has remembered my favorite orders and treats me like family!). They have a stamp card system for their juices/shakes, buy 11 get the 12th free. And with your first order on grub hub they give you $ 10 off, enter code LC89ZG6L59CH. When ordering with EAT24 app they give you $ 2 off with code moar24. Honestly haven’t done either, but looking forward to doing it. All the sandwiches are excellent! Turkey/Avo or Power Breakfast(add avo/bacon) and any of their shakes and juices are amazing especially Kalr Fusion. They also offer juicing packages if you want to do a juice cleanse. This place rocks! Just be sure you have a couple extra minutes. they get busy and while you can always find parking, it’s a tight squeeze!

The food was healthy and fresh… exactly what I was craving for a Sunday afternoon lunch. I had the turkey sandwich, turkey panini, and acai bowl and they were all good. It’s also conveniently located near Universal Studios so it’s a great stop before heading into the park. It’s a bit pricey considering the portion but that would be my only complaint.

Venturing over the hill is a rare thing for me and when I do I have my usual restaurants that I love going to, its rare I try a new one for fear of being disappointed. This was so not the case with Break Room Café! I stopped in for a quick bite on Friday and was super impressed by the awesome cashier(who brought my food out and got cutlery and everything for me even though its not a table service place). I ordered their Chicken Breast Panini as a wrap and it was delicious though I will note it wasn’t proper chicken breast but rather chicken that was thinly sliced like turkey. Really enjoyed my meal and the overall relaxed vibe.

This is a simple café w/wraps, salads, and sandwiches. I dropped in here to get a quick bite after getting Starbucks next door. I didn’t have expectations for this café, but was impressed that it was very good. I ordered the turkey avocado wrap and I can’t remember what sandwich my friend ordered, but he said it was good.

I ordered takeout from here for my first time. The juices are excellent. My order came quicker than expected. Only complaint is that I ordered the large fruit cup for $ 7.99 and it was mostly pineapple that was hard and didn’t seem ripe, not to mention a lot of the inedible rind was included in the pineapple chunks. Will be coming here for delicious juice again.

Stopped here on the way to Runyon hiking trail. All of their juices hit the spot. Their acai bowls are my favorite in town. You can only leave this place feeling healthy and rejuvenated. All of the food is light and organic. If you’re trying to eat healthier this is definitely a great place to know about. Especially if you’re on the way or coming from Runyon or the hills.

Fairly disappointing. I paid $ 10 for a salad that looked very sad. The cheese looked like pre packaged stuff. There was literally 5 tomatoes cut in half over a bed of spinach. My boyfriend’s roast beef salad was tasty but on the smaller side. The one good thing was the juice we ordered. It seemed like most people were just coming in and placing juice or smoothie orders so I would stick to drinks if I were to ever come back.

So, for many years I have searched for a place that has heart healthy as well as affordable breakfast and lunch items as well as quick to go grabs. Alas! Breakroom Café! Amazing! Is the least you can say about this place, the people, the service and the menu are all phenomenal! My favorite, the gluten free menu as well as the Make your Own ColdPress! A place to eat plentifully and not feel guilty.

Mmm, where do I start?! I loved the Break Room Café! My friend took me after and exhausting hike at Runyon, and I was delighted. The food is great. We got an egg and cheese bagel and an acai bowl to share — both were delicious. The acai bowl was very refreshing and came with a side of watermelon. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and so is the staff. They’re very friendly and willing to accommodate any dietary needs to the best of their abilities. Would definitely recommend this place! Tip: — It’s proximity to Runyon can’t be beat! Great place to go grab a healthy bite after your hike!

Not bad. Is a cute little shop that seems to be kind of in the middle of nowhere in terms of food shops. I got the Aloha pineapple smoothie which was ok and my friend tried another smoothie. The small size is big enough but they have a large for 8 bucks. Small is 6 bucks. I’m not sure that I would be back here again but it was nice to check it out when we were trying to kill time.

Great little spot in a jammed strip mall. I had the beagle breakfast sandwich and it was $ 5.95 which was a great deal since it tasted nice and fresh, coffee was great too! Nice and quiet and I was waiting to go to a meeting. Worth trying out, I wanted to try some of their juices, but next time.

Casual spot for yummy Sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. Prices are reasonable and everything is good here. Location: Off of the busy Cahuenga Blvd, Breakroom has a small single line, of one way parking spots lining the businesses. It can be tough to find a spot and street parking is limited. Things I get often here: –Kale fusion smoothie(almond milk, banana, spirulina, kale, hemp protein) –acai bowl –egg and mushroom sandwich Save time, order ahead: Call in your order for faster wait time. Tip: Check in on Unilocal to get 15% off your purchase Frequent buyer punch card: Free juice or smoothie after buying 11

I keep driving all the way to Burbank JUST for the Kale Fusion Smoothie. It is the tastiest smoothie and so filling you can get the large as a meal replacement. The ingredients are almond milk, spirulina, kale, hemp protein and banana. It may be the only smoothie I’ve tried there but I know it’s the best. As for other items on their menu, they have a pretty good breakfast wrap that comes with a side of fruit. I keep going back for the smoothie, but their other food is good as well. I will say they do take a bit longer seeing as there are only 2 staff members the majority of the time, so if you are in a hurry just call in your order for pick-up. Parking is pretty easy, there is a lot outside and usually has a spot free. It’s right off the 101 so definitely an easy place to check out.

This place has really stepped up their game! Their staff has grown and it looks like they are training people as we speak! I love this place. I just became a regular here on Unilocal and got so excited! I really like the juice and smoothie combos and I got the kale fusion today! Which is… Amazing! I also got the Mediterranean wrap with a lemon aioli on the side! I’ll let you know how that is. Later

Conviently located across from our hotel and quick breakfast before trip to Universal Studios. Great healthy sandwiches ans press juice and smoothie. The only guy working was great and told me their bagels were sent to them fresh daily from a bakery which explains the soft and texture. Got a salmon bagel and kale fusion smoothie. You can order ahead and they juice ready
