So since Bangkok 54(off 410/Nacogdoches) is closed on Sunday I have been trying to find a decent place near me(1604/Nacogdoches). Thai Spice in the forum is an absolute no for me. Sooo here we go: I opted for the red curry, the self proclaimed best most famous(as most restaurants do) the red curry sauce was really tasty, semi-thick and full of flavor, large portion,(nice medium kick, bamboo shoots, zucchini, red and green bell peppers) the dry white meat chicken was a little of a bust. I also ordered the Tom Kai Soup and it too had a good flavor. A little thicker than I am used to for a «soup» it would taste good with some rice to compliment the dish. Lots of veggies as well. Happy with the portion sizes. They don’t use the best quality of white rice but decent. Would I say it is the BEST Tom Kai or Red Curry? Not quite, but still REALLYTASTY&WORTHY! The eggs rolls are really delish it’s like a spring roll but with meat. I’m making this a regular Thai place on my list and I don’t have very many! Can’t wait to try their yellow curry :-)))

Great food! Great service and prices not bad! My husbands not a big food person. Could care less where he eats and he said this was the best food he’s had in a long time. We had Noy’s famous Red curry and it had such GREAT flavor!!! Definitely need to try this place out!!!

Incredible sushi… by far the best sushi for the best price. If I could pay $ 100 a month to have unlimited sushi rolls… take my money.

I’ve been here twice with only one less than delicious dish. The chicken satay, fried pork dumplings and massaman curry were all excellent! The waitress asked me how spicy I liked my curry, which was nice. I did get a honey chicken dish that said it used their house honey sauce, but it was a bit bland and the chicken was a bit rubbery. From what I can tell, that was fluke. I am excited to go back and try their sushi and more dishes. I think they also offer take out service. This place deserves more traffic!

Good bang for your buck, food was fresh, bubble tea was on point, and service was good. I’d like to go again.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try after reading the other positive reviews. It definitely lived up to its reputation. The sushi was fresh and tasted delicious. The wine selection is also good. It’s definitely the best sushi place in this area.

Noy Bistro– Had my birthday dinner here, and I had amazing service. The waiter was kind, kept my drink full, and even gave me a yummy orange fruit at the end. Tha atmosphere was calm, delightful, and the food had amazing flavors and spices. Now go try it! NOM.

Restaurant was very clean and modern, and the servers we very polite, but the food left me wishing I picked a different restaurant. I had the lunch Pad Thai with a salad. The salad was nice but they only had ranch, 1000 island, or Italian… no ginger… no asian dressings. I settled for Italian, but received 1000 island when the salad came out. It tasted like cheap processed dressing… kinda gross in my opinion. The Pad Thai tasted processed as well… with a few fresh green onions and chicken pieces thrown in. It was very sweet and didn’t have the typical amazing flavors Thai food normally offers. Overall I left unimpressed with my meal.

I had Pad Garlic with shrimp/seafood(i.e. octopus, scallops) and it was very tasty. Hubs had Seafood Advertisement(for reals) with salmon. That salmon was gooood — buttery, flavorful and came with a yummy peanut, coconut dipping sauce. Muy bien. They were doing a clearance on wine bottles, so I partook in a $ 5 something that is making me type a Unilocal review right now. The fried ice cream was amazeballs. It was like a little scoop of vanilla ice cream ensconced in a crunchy cinnamon sugar-crusted sopapilla of love. I’ll be running these calories off tomorrow but one of the few things I’d say is worth it on this planet. Noms.

Decided to try this place the day before Thanksgiving with my dad and I was sure glad I did. The place looks modernized, clean and ambiance was really nice with excellent service. They offer sushi, Thai and some fusion options. We ended up ordering the papaya salad, pad thai and eggplant with basil and pork. I am extremely picky especially after living in a foodie paradise like Houston for 17 years. Without a doubt the best Thai dishes I have ever had and my father who has been to Thailand absolutely loved it. I would strongly recommend the papaya salad if you like fresh flavors with some spice and the eggplant was extremely flavorful. Pad Thai was really good aswell but not the standout from the three. Give this place a try. If you like Thai I can’t imagine you not loving it!

Noy’s Bistro is a small hidden gem off Pat Booker Road. Everything was great so far. My friend and I both ordered curries, red curry for myself and panang for her. She also order us a cucumber salad appetizer in which the portion was very generous for the price. As picky as my friend is, she liked both a lot. We both said we will definitely be returning to try other menu items. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

This is by far the best Thai and sushi restaurant my wife and I have found. Dwayne and his wife Noy have created a wonderful, relaxing environment in their restaurant, and Tony the sushi chef creates the best mouthwatering sushi and sashimi around. I highly recommend this place for authentic Thai and awesome sushi. check out their wine list too.

Positives: Good atmosphere. Attentive owner and staff. Polite servers. Good food. Not so positives: Server brought us sashimi instead of the rolls we ordered(the sashimi was delicious however). Server did not ask about spice level so my dish had no spice at all.

I am pretty picky about any Thai place in SA, but when I saw all the great reviews for Noy’s I figured eh, why not check it out. Decided to stop by with my mom(whose Thai and Lao) on Sunday afternoon. We were told we could sit anywhere since it was empty-except for some birthday party going on in the back. Our waiter was nice and friendly. I ordered a Thai iced tea(like always), we got the vietnamese egg rolls for an appetizer(pretty good, not my favorite), and I WAS going to get the green curry since that’s my favorite, but based off the ingredients(most notably eggplant and zucchini) I knew I wouldn’t like it. So I decided to get the greatest cliché Thai dish: Pad Thai. I’ve had some Pad Thai around SA before and for some reason each place makes it so sweet, I just don’t understand. But Noy’s Pad Thai was BOMB. I really, really liked it. A++++++! All in all, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, I liked seeing my culture represented through the music, art on the walls, aesthetics, and of course, the food. Seeing as its so close to where I live, I will deff visit there again.

The food here is simply amazing. This place has all the flavor a foodie could ever hope for minus all the pretense that comes with finer dining. This establishment is located off of Pat Booker Rd in an extremely low traffic strip center so prepare to be wowed by the food and NOT the location. The owner is a tall friendly ex military gentleman who walks around and explains the menu, answers questions and generally performs feats of awesomeness on behalf of his patrons. I don’t know him personally but have seen him bend over backwards for his guests. Being that I’m from the NE side of town, I pride myself on knowing most the good spots close by but this is one of the places that slipped through the cracks! I ordered the Green Curry with Chicken and my girlfriend got the Red Curry with Chicken and we both raved about the expert hand which crafted our meal. This was not some pimple faced teenager working to buy the next Madden on his PS4, this must have been the work of some Thai Goddess of Food. All of the flavors coming together were like a master orchestra working together to create Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. I know I know, it sound ridiculous but the food here REALLY. Is. That. Good. We tried the Crab Rangoon as an appetizer for good measure and they were surely made fresh and stuffed with an eye for detail. Each one was pinched ever so carefully and filled with a modest amount of cream cheese. My Bubble Tea was good and the flavors respectable but the Tapioca pearls were too few for my preference. Service was extraordinary every time I’ve been here and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. With one of the most popular Thai places just up the street with critical acclaim, I’d put my money on these guys in a Thai Food Throwdown. Love you guys!

There was only one other family here when we arrived at around 6pm. To start we ordered the shrimp fresh spring rolls. It was okay. The commissary makes them better. There was iceberg lettuce inside and the shrimp was small. Come on, at least use green leaf or Romaine. Iceberg, meh. No fresh herbs, such as basil, mint or cilantro, inside. Our entrees were shrimp pad Thai and pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The pad Thai was delicious and full of flavor. Much to my son’s disappointment, the pineapple fried rice was not served in a pineapple. Oh well, buddy. The rice is made with curry and had pineapples and raisins. It was very tasty. A bit too spicy for my son, but very delicious. The service here was friendly but sparse. I am not sure why. The server was very pleasant, but was unsure about menu items. Refills were a bit slow to get even though there was no crowd. A couple sitting next to my table got up and refilled their own water. Maybe our server was new? At the end of the meal, I decided to order two boba drinks to go. I asked our server what flavors they had and he said he had no idea. Yep, definitely new. He brought us the menu and we decided on two coconut boba drinks. No almond? Whaaaa. The boba drinks took forever to come out. Had I known they were going to go to the island to get me a fresh coconut for my drink I would have ordered it at the beginning of my meal. Ahh live and learn. Finally, our server brings out one boba drink. He hands it to my son and tells me they are still working on the second. Oh wow. When I finally get mine, it comes out a bit crunchy. I don’t think the ice was blended long enough. So sips alternated between too liquidy or too crunchy. It’s nicer when it has a milkshake consistency.

Beautiful dark red walls, paintings, a spotless interior, and beautiful plants on the patio await you here. I arrived at 11 am and was the only customer here while I dined for 30 minutes. It was so peaceful with sounds of Thai music playing in the background. I heard Noy makes excellent Chinese dishes as well as her Thai dishes. They serve Lemon, Orange, and General’s chicken. I got the soup of the day, which was a chicken rice soup. It was good but not as good as Thai Spice’s same soup. I chose General’s chicken, which came with«steamed» vegetables and steamed jasmine rice, which was highly glutinous(sticky rice). My waiter was excellent. His name is J.K., a young man in a white shirt and bow tie, who also works the register. He was so soft spoken and professional and even asked me if I enjoyed my meal when I left. I will definitely be coming back here to try more of the menu. This place has an outdoor patio and a separate room for a wine bar. eats: — jasmine steamed rice: fragrant, sticky, and a perfect bed for any juices on your plate. I mixed my steamed vegetables in it and topped it with fish sauce that I asked the waiter for. — general’s chicken: huge portion, way more than I could eat, thin sticky sauce, not gloppy like Chinese restaurants, balanced flavors, sitting atop steamed cabbage and broccoli, not wok fried. This unique combination was almost like a Thai beef salad, very healthy. I asked for it to be Thai spicy, and oh yeah baby it was. — rice soup: chicken, rice, cilantro, and lemongrass in a savory broth, low sodium, a great starter. I added a video, so you can hear the Thai music, but you’ll have to look for it on the phone app and not the computer’s site.

This is officially my new go-to Thai place! As my first time dining here, I felt it was a safe bet to assume any Thai Restaurant that can make a great Pad Thai can definitely make other great Thai food. Lunch for 2 people was about $ 20. Food came out hot, fresh, and especially fast since the restaurant was pretty empty nearing closing time at 3:00. I almost felt bad for not realizing the hours and coming in so close to closing, but service was very friendly anyway! I really appreciated that. Can’t wait to come back to try new dishes. If I can keep myself from ordering more of that glorious Pad Thai, Curry and avocado bubble tea are probably next on my list!
