Horrible customer service! We ordered the spicy chicken and, after a considerable wait, received luke-warm mild chicken. The booths and walls were not very clean. We will not return to this Popeyes.

Do not ever go through the drive thru lane. The slow service of this place is ridiculous. Go somewhere else unless you have nothing else to do that day. Seriously it’s not worth it

I’ve ordered from this location several times solely out of convenience. The fries have always been soggy and the chicken tenders dry. The drive through takes a lot longer than it should. I have waited in the car for nearly a half hour before with 4 people ahead of me.

Let me start out by saying that it has been ages since I have eaten Popeyes Chicken but at the suggestion of my 2 children I reluctantly agreed… this was my first mistake. We walked into the Pat Booker location in Universal City to an empty restaurant other than the 4 – 6 employees behind the counter and a man at the front getting a drink refill. not one of the employees appeared to be in any sort of proper uniform and the ones that bothered to glance in our direction quickly«sized us up» and went about their business(apparently NOT customer service). Not one of them greeted us for at least 5 minutes as we stood there watching them scurry around the back counter doing oddly nothing before the girl at the drive thru said«be right with you».but no one came around from the back area for several more minutes. with no one in the place and a ton of chicken under the heat lamps they looked prepared for the evening rush. but alas we just waited and waited and waited. There was a certain amount of uncomfortableness in the way each girl KEPT«looking us over» but didn’t bother to say anything. and by that I mean they looked us up and down to the point where I felt uncomfortable by their demeanor especially when my daughter said«did that girl just give us a dirty look!?» Umm YES! Yes she did.(so it wasn’t just me that saw that).At this point I wanted to leave but the girl who finally came to the front actually sort of smiled so we proceeded to order… this was my second mistake. We got our drinks. sat down and after a rather long and unnecessary wait time(again) and listening to one of the employees respond to another saying«no, I’m here illegally».we were finally brought our food. the girl stood at our table with her hand on her hip, a tray in her hand and an attitude in her voice and said«where do you expect me to put this down?».we made room The food we received QUITECLEARLY displayed the attitude of its employees. substandard, hard, dry, cold, and tasteless. the first words out of my daughters mouth when she left were«are you kidding me!?» and when I looked at the food those exact same words crossed my mind. EVERY chicken strip was cold, dry and rubbery and the fries appeared as though they were taken from the trash.(and probably were). I took the food back to the counter and once again stood there far too long waiting for one of these girls to say something. one of them walked by carrying a stack of trays and LITERALLY rolled her eyes when she saw me standing there with the food THEY had(purposely) served US and walked on. at this point I was seriously contemplating a rather loud and one sided verbal opinion to the manager(which might have been mistake #3) but instead I simply said«these strips are cold and rubbery and so are the fries. and the biscuits are as hard as rocks(because they were) The food we eventually received was like night and day. large, plump, juicy and crispy chicken strips. along with hot and fresh biscuits and fries. sadly I had already lost my appetite and simply could not enjoy the food. my children were«embarrassed» with my demand for freshness and customer service and I gave them a lesson in how to treat people and how NOT to be treated. Personally, I am embarrassed for this franchise owner whose employees(most likely family members) desperately need a lesson in customer service and quite possibly a refresher course in preparation and service of quality food. not to mention a green card(or 6) I cannot even rate this place with a single star but I will(mistake number 3)

Ridiculous place, don’t go to the drive through unless you have 30 – 45 minutes to spare. I love Popeye’s food in general, but this place is horrible. Food is generally cold or been sitting under a heat lamp for what I can only assume is a good long while. If I was the franchise owner, I’d take a look at this one. Not exactly doing anything right…

Great food, horrible place to eat. I sat in there and was sweating. Not cool when you’re making a sandwich from fried chicken and mashed potatoes! Make sure you order your food and take that chow to go!!! Otherwise food is awesome, place is gross & sweaty.
