Teague’s Tree Service

Tried these folks after seeing a coupon in the paper. I have to rate them 2 for a couple of reasons:
While their response for an estimate was prompt and efficient, the follow– on scheduling was painfully slow. Lucky for them, I work from home so when they did finally schedule, I was flexible.
The crew showed up promptly and did an OK job, but for a service that features «tree» prominently in their name, I was not overly impressed. I had to nurture them along on how to best shape the tree (believe me, I’m no arborist) and most of their trimming ended up snapping the branches off versus cleanly cutting them. While it may suffice, it’s something I’d expect from kids out and about for summer work instead of a pro tree service.
They did clean up the area well after completion. But they also left several cuts untreated and subject to insect infestation unless I spray them myself.
