Alterations by Renee

Renee did an amazing job on my wedding dress. I was ridiculously nervous because I was turning a beautiful ball gown into a high low with a layer of peach underneath… If I ended up hating it I was in a world of hurt.
On our first appointment we discussed length options for the front and she was very helpful in deciding the right length.
Only a month later my dress is ready and it’s FANTASTIC! It fits like a glove, the length, bustle and pop off color underneath are all perfect!
I can’t wait to walk down the aisle in my custom wedding gown! I’ll come back and post photos after the wedding in June.
One note, she does work from her home, which allows her to keep pricing down, but this may bother some people. Both her and her hubby are very nice. (don’t worry, all fittings are downstairs, and hubby stays upstairs) Would use her again in a heart beat!

I called Renee after a friend of mine had a great experience having her bridal gone altered.
My bridesmaid dress was a tad snug… that is an understatement. I was measured and came in right between 2 sizes, and should not have let the lady at the bridal store talk me into the smaller size. I needed 3 ½ inches taken out in the back and was in a panic.
Renee was calm and put my mind at ease. The work was done rather quickly (a couple of weeks after the first fitting), and the piece was reasonable ($ 76 for taking the dress out A LOT, trimming the halter strap, and adding bra cups). I live in Renton and Renee is in Tacoma, but I will be going back to her the next time I need it! Highly recommend her!

Renee is wonderful! I entrusted her with one of the most important garments in a woman’s life: her wedding dress. I am so delighted that I did. She shortened my wedding dress and created a bustle for it. She also took it in the waist for me without disrupting the beautiful and ornate beading of the bodice. Her work is flawless, and she is professional, easy to work with, timely, and affordable. I will be coming back to Renee with all of my tailoring needs!
