I’ve been to a handful of 99 cent stores and I finally found the item that I was looking for! This location is stocked well. I love this 99 cent store!

Why is the .99 cent store now charging over .99 cents? What a switch and bait. Not that a penny is a big deal, but when your sign outside your store says .99, then you expect everything to be .99

I’m giving 2 stars for a couple of reasons. 1) They are now starting to sell products that are over 99 cents and it can be a bit annoying and confusing. Something catches your eye and you think«What a bargain!» then see its $ 1.99. Thought this was the 99 cent ONLY store. 2) Employees are rude. They all look miserable, I feel like I cant even ask them any questions. I would rather walk around the whole store instead of asking them a question. I can think of one cashier, she never greets you, never looks at you, looks mad. Its such an awkward uncomfortable experience. Another time I was in a line that was quite long, a guy opened up to new line, I was next so I went over when a girl with short hair who works there shoved her way past me, saying«IMONLUNCH!!!» Very rude. Other customers commented on her behavior as well. She didnt have to be so rude, I know what its like to go shopping on your lunch break. Very immature and unprofessional. 3) I know this store is hard to keep up, and know it gets messy. But recently the organization has really thrown me off. They had moved the toilet paper to a new section, so I thought maybe paper towels would be over there… no. I walked around up and down all the aisles trying to find some, only found a sidestack of them. Didnt have any in any aisles. You should focus on the aisles, not sidestacks. It happened with another item as well, had none in the aisle it was supposed to be in, but had a huge sidestack. Other than that, great store, great selection. I could get past 1,3 but the employees really need to step it up.

This store has been here a while I always shop here but never seen the restroom until today… My little girl had to use the restroom and it was so nasty that she said she would wait until we got home. I mean you have a whole store full of cleaning supplies and you can’t keep it up. That’s bad… And the thing that gets me it’s by the employees room you mean to tell me when you walk by you can’t tell it needs cleaning T. paper all over the ground and piss all over the toilet seat not good.

My kids and I LOVE going to this 99 cent store! I love the deals they always have. I buy a ton of different stuff here: dog and cat food, school supplies, snacks, plants, and produce to name a few. I love they started selling fruits and vegetables and the quality is pretty good. You can’t beat their price, for sure. The workers are just ok — not sure they enjoy their jobs but I go for the good deals!

Every time I want to feel like an heiress of some rich family member… I come here to shop. It is clean, well organized, big, and wonderfully cheap… er, low priced. The most amazing thing about this place is that the service is usually better than at the much more expensive department/grocery stores. Example: I am on a VERY limited(non existent) budget, but I had to have something great to give my dad on Father’s Day, right? So, here is what he got: 5 baseball caps, all different colors and all nicely made 1 silk tie 2 picture frames(filled by me) 1 box of candy 2 tins of candy 2 candy bars(he has a sweet tooth, lol) 4 pairs of diabetic socks… I know… a diabetic with a sweet tooth :( various other food/snack items for the truck(he is a truck driver) a fancy giant gift bag Plus I bought a significant amount of food, enough for over a week… and my total was around $ 65! Come and shop, its great! And my dad loved his passel of presents too.

I’d only been to this 99 Cents Only Store until this weekend when I visited one near Marina del Rey. This place is a spotless, wide open, paradise compared to its cousin! It has everything where it’s supposed to be(ie, on shelves and not on the ground) and there are people working in the aisles who actually know where things are. The best part of shopping here is that their inventory changes weekly. Some weeks you’ll find legit Gatorade for 79 cents, other weeks you’ll find name-brand toilet paper. Just be open and try to come in the morning on weekdays, otherwise you’re in for a long wait and feisty crowds.

Inflation BLOWS. $ 3.65 for a gallon of gas BLOWS. $ 6.99 for a gallon of organic 1% milk BLOWS. No more double coupons at most grocery stores BLOWS. So, everytime I shop here I feel like I am giving the proverbial middle finger to ‘the man’. This location as does most locations has produce… mostly name brand produce that is generally 3 – 4 times as expensive in the conventional grocery stores. I have found organic canned food here, organic produce and a variety of name brand products that I generally spend more money on elsewhere. There are other items that are not name brand that I have purchased and I have not been disappointed. If you are like I am, trying to feed a family on an ever tightening budget… this should help take the edge off the sting at the grocery market… and well, also sticks it to the corporate a-holes who run this country. Even with the change to 99.99 cents from 99 cents only… I am still saving money.
