Advanced Alternator Exchange

Definitely one of the better auto repair experiences that I’ve had. Alternator blew out, got it towed here after calling around for some quotes, and was on my way home with my car running perfectly just an hour later. Customer service was great and everybody was very welcoming. They already have the alternators in stock, so it saves some wait time for part delivery. Overall, a great experience!

So I have a beautiful 03 ford expedition it’s my baby (men understand this) and I can’t find an honest mechanic in town even if my life depended on it always trying to get ppl guess that the motto these days well since my car has over 275,000 miles on it I knew I would have problems and low and behold my alternator gave out on me last week I called a tow and started looking for alternators and cost asked around and got referred to advanced by a very close friend of mine who moved into the area a year ago if you know me you know I will drive anywhere if the price is right and the people doing it are honest and can be trusted here’s the bonus it’s American made !!! Our hometown boys are making it unlike the trash that comes from china !!! We’ll since I knew it’s far I couldn’t drive out there with my baby so I called in I spoke with the owner and he told me he was going to be in my area in a few days (can u say score !!!) so days passed by and he called said he was in my area and he brought down an alternator with him (I had expressed the love for my car the first time I had spoken to him) he changed it and I have had no problems what’s so ever and was horribly cheap when it was time to pay I recommend advanced to anyone

I went and talked to a mechanic there after going to 3 other places to test my alternator (all saying it was bad, not including auto zone and O’Reily). He refused to accept any fault so I went again and spoke with the owner (the mechanic refuses to accept any responsibility). The owner said I would be refunded if I replaced it somewhere else… We’ll see if they are honest enough to do that. I have several video recordings which I will turn I to consumer news reporters if not. Smart phones are great, aren’t they?
So, i took him up on that and I had a mechanic install an alternator I bought somewhere else and guess what? It works fine now. Problem’s gone. I will revise review if I get my money back. This was a terrible experience that I would rather have behind me.

This place’s walls were filled to the top with different alternators and starters. and I mean there were a lot. I had the alternator in my Honda replaced, the owner was knowledgable and respectful, and they got it done quickly. The reason I’m writing this review is because this is a place that doesnt overcharge for bogus stuff like other places do. They fixed my car and saved my wallet from thinning out. Nice to see that there are still good, honest people out there.

Being a young female, and walking into a mechanic shop to fix a car on a tight budget is difficult, until one of my friend told me about advanced alternators. I went to a few mechanic shops, only to get hit on and over charged. Advanced alternators quoted me almost wholesale!!! The owner has a daughter about my age. So I worked to my advantage (I guess) :) will definitely go back for my automotive needs!

One of the best experiences I’ve had. I needed to get a new alternator, everywhere else was ridiculously expensive. But here the cost of everything was not only cheaper but the service was exceptional as well. I work for Chevrolet currently and am proud to say I come here for my automotive needs. Keep up the good work.

The Owner was very nice and helpful, low prices, great service! i recommend them to everyone. It was a great experience which is rare when it comes to getting your car fixed.

Advanced Alternators was such a pleasant experience! I was surprised at how low the cost was and how high quality the parts were. The owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me out a lot and were not like those typical money-​hungry mechanics out there that give you false information.
