Boomers

Nice place for a chill date night. Like Dave and Busters but more low key. They have 4 courses of mini golf, 1x cosmic indoor mini golf 18holes, 2×18hole courses outside adult mini golf, and 1x kids mini golf indoors! Batting cages are fun, arcade is pretty chill, really like the mini bowling! Definitely will come back again sometime.

Horribly understaffed. Only one person was working the register for food and game tokens. None of the rides had actual attendants so the tickets we bought for them were not even used. They refused to sell whole pizzas and made us buy a slice at a time for $ 7 each. Took 20 minutes to get tokens refunded when we used a broken game. It’s been a few years since I’ve been here and it has not improved at all.

I hosted my family for my birthday there. We got full-​day-​pass wristbands. This place is GREAT! Nothing but good things to say about this place. My family had such a wonderful and memorable time. I highly recommend this place. From management to staff… Boomers was Aces. These guys really went above and beyond the call of duty. What people don’t realize is the place at boomers is not as popular in the weekdays. So if u have a party during that time, you pretty much have the place to yourself!!! Their Bop café is also not popular… So you will have this HUGE venue all to yourself – just tell your guests «you guys are so special that I closed the park for you» lol

This place is fun. You only need to spend about 3 hours and feel happy. I don’t need to waste my time somewhere else and parking is easy. No long waits

Great place for all-​day fun for kids! Definitely recommend the unlimited wristbands! The kids loved celebrating their birthdays at boomers!

Awesome! We put our sons BDAY Party together last minute and Marco took care of us, he got the kids situated and fed them and got them on their way. Kids had a blast and great time.

I was invited to a birthday party at Boomers. The last time I came to Boomers was about 11 years ago and I had a great time. Nothing changed 11 years later. literally. Everything was old & outdated!
Our package included 2 ride/​attraction tickets and 20 tokens to play in the arcade. The host mentioned how unorganized it was trying to get the tickets and tokens — they only gave the attraction tickets, he had to go back to ask where the tokens were…
Go-​karting was by far the best thing at Boomers! There is also cosmic golf, regular mini golf, rock climbing, bumper boats with water shooters, batting cages (accepts tokens only), etc.
We had dinner in the café. Sad sad area with hardly any people! We were in the large, quiet room towards the back all by ourselves. Weird that the café is separated from the main game room. There are a few arcade games in the café and if you hate a crowd, come here to play.
Avoid the restrooms if you can! You have been warned!

My boyfriend took me to Boomers in Upland for a little friendly couple’s competition, and it being my first time at any Boomers ever, I was pretty excited. He got us the unlimited summer pass (about $ 25/​person for as many activities); they offer other packages as well as prices for individual activities. Boomers is located along the 10 freeway near the Montclair mall (absolutely convenient). The lot is spacious so there was plenty of parking even when more people started arriving.
We arrived at Boomers around 11am on a Sunday, and we almost had the entire place to ourselves. It was pretty empty around that time, so lines were minimal and it was easy to get around doing stuff. It only started getting busy around 2 o’clock.
They have go-​karts, 3 – 4 different mini golf courses (2 indoor and 2 outdoor), a rock-​climbing wall, bumper boats, kiddie rides, batting cages, a ferris wheel, and an arcade with old-​school games, air hockey, dance-​dance revolution, and skeeball. I particularly enjoyed the indoor cosmic golf– prepare for cool colors, Western themes, and air conditioning (bonus on a hot day).
So why is this not getting a 5 star review? The ferris wheel was out of order, and once it got slightly busier, it took longer to get help. For example, the prize redemption counter was unmanned except for a guy who was simultaneously working the confections stand.
Other than that, I had a positive experience, and I look forward to the next mini golf competition!

Me, my husband and kids woke up too late to go to Sea World so I text my sis in law to see what their family was up to today. We all decided to meet up at Boomers in Upland since it was an hours drive for both families. Kind of like a middle meeting point.
Anyway, we hadn’t been here before. We enjoyed ourselves. We got there around 2ish and left after 8pm. It was fairly empty for several hours after our arrival and this is a warm Saturday afternoon. Where the heck are the people of Upland?!. Maybe they got bored with this place after going so much, I dunno. We decided to use it to our advantage though. We did some miniature golfing, go karts, bumper boats and a few games.
The staff was always friendly and communicative. Overall, the place was clean. This place reminded me of my go kart experience as a child. You do not have to put on stinky helmets. I recently went go kart racing at an indoor track called Racers Edge. The helmets hurt my head and were stinky. I couldn’t even move/​turn my head. I loved that Boomers was outdoors. The go karts had some speed to them and there were single and double karts in case the kiddos were too young to drive the big karts like my lil ones.
The food was okay, basically what should be expected. They were out of the nacho chips so I had a salted pretzel instead. My husband had some waffle fries with cheese sauce and bacon bits. My lil ones had a corn dog. The food wasn’t amazing nor was it horrible. Like I said what should be expected.
We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back.

I love this place there is a multitude of fun to be had. I enjoy the variety of mini golf courses. The go carts are fun. The batting cages provide great practice on my power swing. This place is old school and I enjoy that vibe. Boomers!

I used to come here all the time when I was a kid and it was «booming» back then. It’s been some time, but my recent visit to Boomers left something to be desired. The bathrooms needed cleaning, there was an old musty smell to the place, and everything just seemed old and dreary. We went solely for the mini-​golf because my husband and I were in the area and wanted to kill some time. The courses were out-​dated, but we still had a fun time despite the sticky grips on the putters. I don’t know if I would come back for $ 10 a round for mini-​golf again.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. It needs a big time upgrade or just shut it down. The workers are rude and slow. They obviously don’t really care about the customer service. I won’t come back ever again.

I really like to come here for cosmic golfing. Sometimes it can be a little hot in there but it’s not too bad. The outdoor golfing courses are nice to play through. The service I receive is usually fast but on the last visit I must’ve been waiting 5−7minutes for someone to help me out with some golf clubs. Overall, my experience was fine.

Zero stars. In the batting cage and the machine gets stuck (again) so instead of standing in the batters box for ten minutes until the «helpful» staff show up to put more balls in the rails I take a step back and three pitches go by. So I step back in the box and it gets stuck again then two more pitches go by. So I ask the guy if he can get the machine working again. One more ball goes by and then the machine turns off. I ask the staff member if he can restart the machine. He says «no, you got all your pitches». Wtf bad customer service. No wonder it is empty and deserted. Boomers I think it’ll be called Goners pretty soon. #outofbusiness

Fun place to mini golf! There’s a glow in the dark course that is pretty cool! The girl at the prize counter was really nice. I was a couple tickets short and she still let me get the prize! :) The churros are really good! Better than I expected and are a reasonable price! Will definitely be coming back!

We have brought our niece and nephew for golf and go carts, which they absolutely loved. I’ll admit, I had way too much fun with my go cart, it was so fun and hilarious! My boyfriend and I also visited recently just to do some rounds at the batting cages, oh my goodness what a perfect and fun date! The guy behind the counter was super cool and helpful, if it weren’t for him I would have never noticed the differences of the batting cages. There are some for expert speeds, regular pitch, and slow pitch with the option for softball and longer bat. We had a great time and will certainly return!

Every game feels like a fat kid just ate cotton candy and played on it. Pretty gross. Make sure you have about 20 gallons or Purell handy.
The games are also very expensive for what they are. And when I say expensive, I’m talking like Dave and Buster’s status. Yeah, not worth it.
I feel like Boomers is a old, run-​down place that kids used to go, which pretty much explains the 15-​year-​old video games and rides that carnivals would be embarrassed to operate.
Where’s the closest DnB’s?

I know I’m getting older, but this place is overrun by teenagers (both customers and staff).
They go into the dark indoor mini golf course to suck face and feel up on each other. They utilize dark, run down corners of the arcade for this purpose as well.
Hardly any of the machines work, and the ones that do take coin after coin before they finally work.
Finding an employee who actually cares about their job is impossible.
The floors are disgusting. The food isn’t the greatest. The batting cages are terrible (you get one good «pitch» out of six). Perhaps the only fun thing there is the go karts.
Seems like only rude teens come here by the way. Disinterested and constantly annoyed by who knows what.
If you’re looking to get rid of your teen for the summer so they can play «hole in one» golfing then this is the place to send em.
What’s sad is that this was a great family fun place when I was a kid. Too bad mismanagement has jacked it up.
