The girl at the front desk is so nice and helpful. She’s just extremely pleasant everytime I come in. I think her name is Joanna but I honestly forgot. When I have a question, she answers it without just trying to refer me to a trainer I can’t afford. She helps make something I don’t like doing, a little less painful.

This is an awesome gym! It’s a very comfortable place to workout and I rarely have to wait for a machine. I absolutely love the power hour set up it makes working out very easy! It’s also very well maintained and the staff members are great!

This location has exactly what I need. Opens at 5am and gives me that early opportunity to get in before work. The women’s locker room is super clean and well maintained. The early Front Desk staff always greet me with a pleasant hello and good morning. Can’t beat that for $ 9.95

Crunch never disappoints! I’ve lost 15lbs here (: everyone that works here is very nice and energetic that’s what keeps me coming back. I like being greeted with positive energy when I walk in. I can’t complain about this place, restrooms are always neat and they always have an employee cleaning the machines. Love this gym!

I love the gym has all the basic utilities that I want and price is amazing!!! 1 star because they have horrible customer service. Everytime I go there very rarely do I get a «Hi, Welcome!». How difficult is it to provide basic customer service?

I’ve gone to a few gyms in my life but I e never felt as comfortable as I do at this one. The staff is awesome and encouraging. There is a good assortment of machines, weights and classes to help you reach your goals.
If you’re looking for a PT they have several and my favorite is Alejandra, she’s positive and helps you stay on track!

I’ve been a member for years. Love the friendly atmosphere. The club is clean and has a wide selection of equipment. Try the Zumba Class with Gabriel on Wednesday night!!! Tons of energy and burn calories!

So I left a review a few days ago. Since then I have been in a war between my bank and crunch. So I cancelled my debit card I cancel my account opened a new one withdrew my direct deposit paycheck and they debited me another $ 20 and overdrew my account now I have a $ 30 insufficient funds fee thanks crunch. I have since filed a fraud claim against them because since we closed our account it is now become fraud. So I’ll be seeing you crunch have a nice life I’m going to break you, I’m going to take your money and I’m going to give it to the poor and the homeless and I’m going to give it to the people that really deserve money they deserve to live a good life that are honest people and not a bunch of crooked thieves like you guys thanks crunch your reputation is so awesome

Love working out here. Been coming for about a year on and off with my mom. Gabriel Zumba class is the best for all those ladies. Great clean facility& super friendly staff.

The gym is very clean and well equipped with all the things I need for my workout sesh. When I walk in I’m greeted with a smile and a Hello from the receptionist I believe her name is Stephanie. The atmosphere is perfect Overall a great facility for a great price .

Since gym has a new Instructor for Monday night class, I called to see WHO would be teaching class. Lady on phone said, «Hold on.» 1 minute later, «It says DeMitri Substitute.» I replied, I know he does not teach anymore, this is why I’m calling. Please let me speak to manager. She, «Hold on.» 1 minute later some guy gets on phone, «May I help you?» (Not the manager because I know his voice.) I said, «Who is substituting for DeMitri’s class. I don’t know, I know it’s a Substitute.» I felt like saying really? Boy your a genius, you should get a raise… then I asked for Angel, (who IS the manager). Response, he can’t come to the phone he’s busy right now… Customer Service Training, and brain functioning, is surely needed here! I must say things continue to decline at this gym

I love this place. I haven’t been to the gym since I was a teenager, so I was pretty nervous. Everyone that I see there are really focused on themselves and are not using the place as a meat market. No one is staring at you or judging you. And the best part (besides getting in shape) they have 2 tanning booths! And a massage bed. It’s awesome. I signed up at the Rancho Cucamonga location but I live in Upland.
I gave the gym only 4 stars because, I feel there should be more multiples of the exercise equipment. But other than that, it’s the best place to work out. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get in shape and get their tan on. ;)

I was reluctant to join in the beginning because of some called bad reviews, however someone told me just go in and see for yourself… Well I’m glad I did! The staff is Awesome, everyone is very personable, talks to practically everyone that walks in, making you feel welcomed… so I joined and totally love it! Worth my time :)

What kind of person quits their gym right BEFORE the new year? (This guy!)

Honestly, it pains me to quit Crunch because they were so nice, so straightforward, and most importantly, SO CHEAP! With monthly memberships at only $ 9.95 a month… it doesn’t get much better than that. Sure, you’re not going to find any swimming pools, saunas, or basketball courts… but if you’re looking for a gym mainly for weights and cardio machines, Crunch is it!
Also, I really appreciated how straightforward the manager, Angel, was with me when I told him I wanted to end my membership. He understood my situation and respected my decision. Class act.
All in all, I would highly recommend Crunch to anyone who’s looking for a gym in the area!

Joined Crunch about a year ago and I’ll say this Upland gym is the worst. I do only come here when I’m in the area and don’t feel like driving back to the La Verne location. The people at the desk do greet you. That’s not my complaint.
Too many people here don’t know how to re-​rack the weights. Dumbbells are in the wrong place. Plates are all over the floor and in the wrong spot. Even had a few people using 2 workout areas at one time. You’d think with 4 associates standing around the front desk they would go around and pick up the place. It’s been a year and nothing’s changed.

It’s all about the service and I agree with the reviews about service. I tried this gym today and if you wear a shirt with crunch on it you represent the company, franchise or not.
The representative was short in temper and obviously didn’t care if I came back or not. Ok place, to go.
Just because you charge less you should never treat people that way.
The other guns around you should send you a thank you card for the customers you send their way.

This is not the best gym for your money
–hours suck
–no central air conditioning
–front desk workers are often dismissive
In addition,
If you do make the bad choice to join this gym, pay for the $ 10 one not the $ 20 one as they never bother to check for you to take the class or use the tanning or hydro
