G Sound

4 years ago I took my Volkswagen bug here and had a full system put in. About 6 months later my speakers didn’t work, occasionally when i would go over a bump they’d then back on then off again. I took it in and they told me that the head unit had to be replaced and they made me pay 150 $ for a new one and labor for them to fix the wire, which was why the speaker weren’t working. I was really upset about having to spend money after already spending 400 $ on the entire system. the head unit was the only thing that was already on the car so I just sucked it up and replaced it. Here we are 2 years later and I bough a Honda S2000 which has half the speakers. Putting aside the not to great first experience I went back. It came out to be more expensive than the first one. So I take it there when they open and about 30 minutes before they close I still haven’t heard back, really 8 hours for speakers? Not even a call? So the guy tells me my car needs a special clip that they can’t get this late and that they are keeping my car over night but for the inconvenience they will give me the upgraded speakers I wanted but didn’t want to spend the extra money on. Seriously? You’re going to keep my car over night at a speaker shop and not even think to let me know? I have 2 jobs and go to school I need my car. the next day half way through there open hours I call again and they say it’s been done?! Really? When I get there, they are just watching tv, like you couldn’t had called me? Well now here we are present day and my car is doing the SAME thing the first car did! So now I know it wasn’t the other head unit it was them. Only one of my speakers works and the other half of the time no speakers work! I don’t want to go back to them but I want them to fix their mistakes but again I’m being charged 150 $ for a new head unit that they installed. Their wiring guy sucks. They lost a customer that takes her car, her husbands, parents and friends cars there!

G-​Sound has a great staff, owner is super nice and helpful. I have been bringing my cars here for years and they always do a great job!

Great overall service, was very friendly and knowledgable. They are current installing my 2 10″ subs with a 2 10″ subwoofer box for under my backseat in my ’07 Ford F150. Will definitely be coming back!

Great job done on my car, this is a REAL review not a paid one. G Sound installed my new HID & LED lights, which end results came out far better than what I expected… Look forward to having something else done in the future, too bad their not in Las Vegas thou…

I have been coming here a long time with various cars through the years. My latest experiences at G Sound have left me with a great impression of these guys, both Jesse and especially Junior are awesome and give great advice about how to upgrade your system. I am a single guy and can’t spend a lot but want good quality components and craftsmanship, both of which G Sound provides. I just recently took my Prius in to get the speakers replaced and they sounded GREAT. Junior really helped me pick something out that was cost effective and sounded good. I don’t listen to music with a lot of bass but when I picked the car up Jesse suggested I get a small sub with box to add to the sound. I was so impressed with the work they did that I raved about them to my brother and he got me store credit for Christmas. I soon thereafter went back to them with an idea on what I wanted to do and Junior suggested a small sub in box would work great and really fill out the sound in the car. Although skeptical at first he helped get the levels just right and I couldn’t be happier with the sound. Although they have been good in the past they have really raised the bar with great service equipment without over charging. If you are looking to upgrade your system and want quality without paying an arm and a leg go check these guys out. Well worth your time and money!

All their staff is very friendly. Prices are good. Took vehicle in last minute and they got it done in no time. Talk about fast service plus sound system on my car sounds very good. Love it!!! Thank you guys. Highly recommend them. Gotta give them a try.

The fellas here are very knowledgeable when it comes to Car Audio and helped with an issue that was I having with my 2008 Accord that I had installed elsewhere (not being from this area) and not only did they repair the issue, they helped maximize my sound output as well in no time! The customer service is 100% also Jesse helps me a lot for understanding which woofer is better and he charge me a reasonable price.

Took my car there yesterday to install a new radio. They were very professional and had it installed and working in less than an hour. Best service ever.

We bought a Chevy Silverado for our son, he had been dreaming & saving up for a stereo system for two years!
Went to see Jesse at G-​Sound, introduced him to my son, discussed a sytem and made a deal to purchase & install the dreamt about sound system. Took truck back next day for install, Jesse said he’d not only install one 600 watt
agreed, but would hook Joshua up with TWO AMPS, one 2,100 watt for base speakers and a 600 watt whole stereo amp for the same agreed price… this is the Eight job that G-​sound has done for our Family& business. Needless to say the truck is all set up-​bumping and jumping,(just as Joshua had been dreaming of) as promised by G-​sound (and Jesse the owner) AS ALWAYS!

Didn’t think I would ever go back here… But being local and them offering me a ride home and the van I just purchased was already in bad shape, I figure what’s the worst they can do wrong? Took my GMC Savanna here, this van is in really bad shape, the blinkers, interior lighting, speedodometer all don’t work. I’m installing a car computer and a system. Spoke directly with Jessie as I had to address my concerns coming back here.
To be honest all businesses have their ups and downs, when he told me the guy who helped me last time got fired it helped assure me things would be different. So basically installing a custom head unit, car computer and a system which I purchased on Amazon. Jessie told me they can do more for me, like getting my signals working instead of taking it to the dealership. I’m like yea! So now they are doing all that including a backup camera. They had it for 1 day all done! I made a second trip to have them put an alarm as it would be cheaper then fixing the locks of the van as they didn’t really open from the outside. So they instated an alarm with automatic locks… Done and Done.
Now here is what I feel could have been done better. Personally yea my van is trashed but I didn’t like how they left their striped wires, connectors, wire ties in the van. I nab for anybody it really isn’t a big deal at all but perhaps they should just run a vacuum after installing. It’s a extended cargo van, and I ended up vacuuming it myself. However this is not the first shop I’ve been to that does this. So it really is not a big deal. Thanks I’m sure I’ll be back for more.
Btw the guy that left the review of his alarm having to be readjusted. It’s an alarm. That’s normal for it to go off like that. Some choppers are that loud, it’s the equivalent of someone actuary banging on your window (at least to your alarm). Your alarm goes off to deter theft. Now if I walk up to your window and actuary crack it with a brick it’s probably not going to go off. Also this is California… We have laws, if the installer has to take his lunch it’s because the law says so not because he physically could care less about making you wait. This is why people make appointments. The installer isn’t a robot he’s a person.

Poor coustomer service. Had door locks and an alarm installed. When I got the car the passenger door wouldn’t open. Went back two hours later got the car. Two months later the rear passenger door wouldn’t open. Two hours repaired.
Had an alarm installed in my Toyota Tacoma. Every time a motorcycle passed alarm would go off. Took it to be adjusted, was told 15 or 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I asked what was up. They went in the back to check. Came back and told me to wait another 30 min. Their installer refused to adjust it until he went to lunch.

Went here for HID setup. Everything worked perfectly, solved so many problems and installed it professionally! However things started tripping out in my car, and I went back about 7 months later. I was expecting a hard time, but no. Junior and Bosh took care of it and replaced the ballasts and Bulb for me NO CHARGE! They do great work here and don’t forget their customers!

sadly the better reviews are from their friends and associates or a female.(it’s a all male staff, of course they were nice to the women… me too lol) but in all seriousness.
I have been taking cars here for a long time as well as my friends and family but we all have had some bad experience with them at G-​sound at some point. After more than 5 years of having these guys do sound on my toys and cars. I finally have seen their true colors… they regularly make mistakes and I promise you will return to have them fix just read some more reviews even in the good reviews people had to return for mistakes or damaged equipment.
Don’t waste your money or time go to a real sound shop… at the end of the day Gsound could care less… After years as a faithful customer (mistakes and all) I had one very cheap fix recently and asked them to fix it and they refused… IN FACT THEY DENIED HAVING EVER SEEN OR WORKED ON MY CAR… If you care about yourself, cars, toys, or customers take the time to look around for quality work… I assure you quality work is not at G-​sound. Only disrespect and a headache they are known for now… I now have seen quality work … If G-​sound makes a mistake THEY WILL DENY WORKING ON YOUR CAR ENTIRELY and go the extra mile to save the pocket change they apparently didn’t get from 5 years and 9 cars (I sell used cars occasionally) and not to mention the crazy amount of business my family has taken them over the years. I hope it was worth the mass amounts of money they are going to lose… A BUSINESS CANNOT EDIT OR DELETE REVIEWS ON Unilocal… BUT THEY CAN POST SOME GREAT REVIEWS THEMSELVES AND ASK FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO DO THE SAME…

I’ve been coming to this Stereo shop for over five years now; they do the best work bottom line! I have done 3 different cars of mine, 5 completely different systems.
EVERY SINGLE ONE was nothing short of perfect, clean work. The staff (Jesse, Bosh, Dre and Jr.) are great guys. They know all there talking about.

Overall, great guys! They know what they’re doing here. If something isn’t working properly, or you don’t like something they did, they make sure to fix it. Nice people, great prices, cool place :)

I been shopping around for a trustworthy Stereo shop that could work on my my Mercedes Benz S550, which is major headache for most installers due to the fiber optic stereo setup, before I made my decision, I wanted to see and hear what the installers have done in the past. If you go to the shop and want a sample of their quality ask to hear Dre’s car which was done several years ago. The sound was incredible, I also heard a white Chevy CAMARO COUPE, with one of the craziest set ups, I have ever scene, ipod in dash, back seat customized with a woofers every where, the kicker was to outside speakers that were waterproof, completely ridiculous.
My Benz Set up was to look stock, I went with the following set up: one 12 inch Digital Design 2500 woofer, 1300 watt amp and custom speaker box ported for sound to go thur the arm rest, my existing woofer was termination, , digital signal processor with separate bass control was added. The system completely rocks more bass than I know what to do with.

5 Stars for owner Bosche, he knows his stuff, he selected the right equipment, he understood exactly what I was looking for, I also reviewed his product online and he was spot on right on the money.
5 Stars for the installation, my system was delivered on time, done right the 1^st time
5 Stars, the price for their service was very cheap.
If you want quality and have high end European vehicle, and your pick and skeptical about where to take your car, the search is over.

Just came back to G Sound with my 4^th car. I love this place! Got the hook up as always… worked with Dre. I put in a 12″ woofer and box, changed my speakers out and amped em. Always love shootin the sh*t with these guys. Good times.

I’ve been going to G Sound for years. It saddens me to see soapy negative reviews on here. There was only once that I had something even remotely close to an issue. (a fuse blew a day after I got my system installed). I went back the next day, and even though it wasn’t really their fault, they replaced the fuse, free of charge. To get the best experience here, treat all the guys with respect, bullshit with em and have some fun, don’t be all stuck up and proper. You treat them well, they’ll always make sure you’re more than satisfied. You won’t find a better bang for your buck anywhere else around.
The only negative I would have to say is that they often estimate incorrectly. One employee will say it costs this much, and a different one will give you a different price. But again, treat them right, and they’ll work with you.
