Gr8 Hair On Euclid

Lori is more than my hairstylist — she is family. She has been working with my entire family (men and women!) for over a decade and all of us were devastated to see her go when she moved to California. This did not stop us from making her our go-​to person for ALL hair concerns. We wouldn’t even go to a new stylist in Miami without her seal of approval and any major decisions went through her first!
I’m either the luckiest or smartest person in the world because somehow I wound up being her new neighbor in Upland and I am rejoicing having her back in my life — not only because I can finally trust someone whole-​heartedly with my hair again, but also because she’s one of my dearest friends. And that’s what is so amazing about her! You cannot help but feel more comfortable, more open, more supported and loved by being in her chair. She connects with you like a real person and makes getting a haircut feel like a long hug with an old friend. I trust Lori with the intimate details of my life just as much as I trust her with my hair (without hesitation).
I have never left a haircut with anything less than total satisfaction, and she has been working with me through MANY fazes (imagine high school into college and now as a graduate — a lot of change!). Now that she is so close to me again, I will never go to anyone else!

Amazing experience! Went in with dry and uneven hair and left with hair that felt and looked healthy and shiny. I am beyond excited with my results and highly recommend Lori to everyone in the area looking to revamp there look. The salon is peaceful and very light and sunny with a warm and welcoming feel. This will definitely be my new spot when I’m in town!

Just wanted to mention that my hair is feeling amazing. Lori recommended the Olaplex treatment and my hair just feels so silky and looks so much better. My hair is finally growing. It had been stagnant for a few years.

Lori is a lifesaver! She has rescued a bad dye job, she is the only person who can manage my strange hair, basically raising it from the dead. She cuts it so well that it looks groomed whether I airdry it or blowdry it. But what I appreciate most about her is that she is so accomodating with our crazy hair emergencies! It is always such a pleasure to have one’s hair done by a truly attentive and intelligent stylist, and in a beautiful and calm setting. I can highly recommend her with confidence, she is a truly knowledgable and talented hairstylist. My whole family are fans!

Another awesome haircut by Lori! She also did my color, am loving my highlights! She is an amazing artist. I always leave her salon feeling beautiful. I love going to see her, cuz I feel like it’s my own personal salon, her focus is totally on me! I’ve got super thick curly hair that I’ve never known what to do with and she has whipped it into shape, I get compliments wherever I go! Lori is the person who taught me that you can trust your hairstylist! I went to her for years before her big move to California and we still keep in contact. Although she is far away from me, I told her that she’s my hair guru because I literally ask her about every hair decision before I do anything. When she did my hair, it was always a great experience because she’s so easy to talk to. I can be pretty picky about how people cut my hair, but Lori was always patient and willing to work with what I wanted. I’ve never had a bad hair experience with her because I don’t think she’s capable of doing bad work. I’m hoping our paths cross again in the near future because I would instantly book an appointment with her. Although I would love to visit California to see Disneyland and LA, I also have a haircut by Lori on my wish list itinerary. Local Californians, please do yourself a favor and take advantage of her services while you have her! I’m selfishly hoping she ends up back in Florida near me ;)

May I say that Lori has hands made of gold? After many disappointing haircuts at other salons, I finally got a haircut that compliments my face & I did not have to make adjustments alone at home (which I’ve done before with subpar haircuts). She’s very knowledgable & a very good listener too. Not a minute did I feel rushed or felt that I can’t give my feedback/​comments. My little boy, Ibraheem, was all over the room while she was cutting my hair, but Lori was very sweet & accommodating, not to mention the candy jar she had :-)

Lori is a keeper. There aren’t too many hair stylist like her around anymore and the best part is that she is affordable. I am a guy with long hair reaching shoulder length and was thoroughly satisfied.
She takes the time to go over the details about how you want your hair to be done, washes off the hair and then gets to work. She takes her time and is very detailed oriented. You never feel rushed with her. She cares about her patrons and gives them the time they need to have a proper cut.
One advice: she works from her home (a beautiful Victorian style home) and the directions can be a bit misleading so call her and get it from her. She also responds to text messages.
Lastly, please make an appointment in advance; I called her on the same day and she was very accommodating and was able to fit me in but I don’t suggest taking a chance like that!

Lori is a true artist! I look forward to my appointments with her not only because my hair looks fabulous afterward, but also because she is great company and a pleasure to be around. You won’t find a better stylist in the area. I especially appreciate her expertise with color.

Thank you Unilocalers for leading me here! I wasn’t sure if Lori was still taking clients because it had been a while since anyone put in a review. I’m so glad I called and made an appointment! She did a fabulous job and immediately put me at ease.
We talked about my color and what I was looking for, and she took the time to explain the process she had in mind for my hair. I hadn’t seen a stylist in four months so my hair was a complete mess– roots, faded color, a disheveled overgrown mop (long overdue, but life got in the way), but after a couple hours my hair looked terrific. I walked with a spring in my step and felt pretty again.
Lori is a one-​woman show, not a full-​service salon with multiple stylists. So don’t just show up, call ahead to make an appointment! The room she works out of is a beautiful space, airy, with lots of natural light. And Lori herself is really personable and easy to talk to– she made the time pass by quickly. I’m really glad I found her.

I have been in search for a hair stylist in the area for a couple of years now and thank goodness I came across Lori here on Unilocal!She is amazing with hair and truly knows what she is doing. She has the coolest little salon and is super flexible with scheduling.

Lori is awesome! I took my girlfriend to her today and she did wonders. My girlfriend went to another lady prior to do the ombré coloring but that lady completely messed it up and Lori fixed it in no time. She styled and shampooed my girlfriends hair and made it look amazing! Shes very friendly, easy going, extremely knowledgable and definitely knows what shes doing and talking about. I am THRILLED to have found Lori @ Gr8hair on Euclid! Newly relocated, I have bounced around Upland for months now trying to find a stylist that could give me a color and cut that is not run of the mill. On a Unilocal whim, I tried Lori and the quest for my new HAIR GODDESS has ended. She is an amazing, amazing, colorist who continuously takes classes, so she can, literally, do anything you wish for or see in a magazine. I love her location, her humor, her techniques and her prices. This review is coming from a historically difficult client in terms of what makes me elated, so if you’re still reading, get off Unilocal and call Lori now! Just don’t ask for my fabulous formula because I am the only one she makes it for. BEST COLORIST IN TOWN!!!
