MANE Salon

This was my first visit, haircut by Nick. My previous hair salon left my layers choppy. I wanted to try a new salon. I choose Mane because of the great reviews. I was a little nervous but I explained what I wanted and Nick delivered! I’m very happy with my new cut and I will be going back for highlights.

Found this fantastic salon through Unilocal and I couldn’t be happier. Booked an appointment for a balyage with Nick and it turned out even better than I imagined it. He took his time and made sure every little detail was exactly how I wanted it. So happy with my new hair, I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Cinthia did an amazing job on my hair. Today was my first visit and, She already corrected and toned my hair for me. She’s nice, friendly and knows how to keep your hair healthy and colored like you want. I highly recommend her.

I got my hair and makeup done for my wedding by Nick and Cinthia and I was so happy with the way it all turned out. I had my hair and makeup trial a couple of weeks before the wedding and that was a great way for the stylists to get to know what you like and what works best for you. On the day of the wedding, they were on time and even a little early. My mom and bridesmaids also got their hair and makeup done and they looked great! I received so many compliments through out the night and I felt absolutely beautiful. Thank you Nick, Cinthia and Sheena for helping make my day even better.

I had my makeup and hair done for my sister’s wedding. Cynthia was Amazing!!! So great at styling hair and makeup. Her hands create art. BUT… My mom got her makeup done by a on call girl. I think her name was Allyson (not sure), yet I observed her do makeup and hair for the other bridesmaids and she was Terrible to be nice about it. Her hairstyles looked rushed and disorderly. And her makeup looked as if a 5 year old did it. To put it bluntly. It was a botched job that equaled a high price to pay. And to mess up the mother of the bride’s makeup is UNFORGIVABLE in my opinion. To make it worse she tried to fix it and made it worse. It took the trained hands of Cynthia to fix. And thank God she was there. Long story short-don’t get on calls to do your hair and makeup. My mother felt horrible on her daughter’s most important day. And that should have never happened.

Today was the 2^nd visit and by far still one of the best salons ever. Today, my hair was cut by Nick, and last visit by Dave, I believe. Both times were absolutely wonderful.
I also took my daughter in today. Cinthia (with an «i») took care of my daughter and she was beyond loving her hair, despite initially not wanting to go. This will now be my go-​to salon since I’ve had many unpleasant experiences with other places.
(Oh! And what won’t me over, was that the first time, I took my 6 year old son with me, and the young lady making appointments put on Chicken Little for him to watch. She does not know how much I REALLY appreciate it.)

I just started going to Mane Salon and it just gets better and better. Prices are excellent but what is better is Cynthia who really «gets it». I have had many Compliments and it is really her doing.
A word of advice– ignore the less than trendy strip mall it is in. Once inside you get the atmosphere they are creating, both with the walls and the music.
It has been a good experience and I am glad I gave it a try.

I must say I am impressed with my visit. I came to Mane Salon after receiving a horrendous haircut. David did an amazing job of turning things around for my hair. His cut and style did just the trick and I am so thankful that I found this place. I stumbled upon Mane Salon online when searching for a new place to get my hair done and saw that the rating on Unilocal was a 5. My stylist was amazing and the prize is unbeatable at $ 25 for a wash, cut and style.

This review is solely for styling and customer service (I did not have my hair cut/​colored – I have a good friend who takes care of that for me.)
My hair au naturale is more on the straight side but tends to have this annoying frizz going on. Not enough for nice curls, but enough to wreak havoc on my attempts at straight hair – think Witch Hazel from Bugs Bunny or Witchy Poo from HR PufNStuf (who? what? ask the elders in your family). So my usual routine is to air dry and use a curling iron to curl because my hair will cooperate with that. But when I try to blow dry and use a straightening iron, my unruly hair fights back, it’s a labor of hate, the results are not good, and I end up in a foul mood. Should I give up and let my unruly hair do whatever it pleases? No way! Every now and then, I can have straight hair — but with the help of a professional. That led me to Unilocal salons that offer blow dry/​styling services, and I came across Mane. Good reviews, and they have a convenient online scheduling app that I used to book my appointment.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon and saw Cinthia. She was very pleasant and professional. The salon is simple, quaint, and clean. The ambiance comfortable and relaxed. No yelling over thumping club music. Within about 35 minutes, Cinthia had my unruly hair shampooed and blow dried into straight submission. I was very happy with the results and look forward to coming back and earning points on their reward card. Another plus, they are located a couple doors down from that wonderful German Deli!

I just moved to the area and literally had no references or recommendations, so I meticulously searched Unilocal and found this salon. It’s just a year old so everything in the salon is very new, clean and modern. I’m really glad I ended up going here. The original salon I was going to go to never answered their phone even though I was calling during their open business hours, which was really frustrating — but Mane salon answered my call on the first go and scheduling an appointment was very easy and they even fit me in on a Saturday.
When I got there Cinthia took the time to ask exactly what I wanted and worked really hard to meet my expectations. Since I have bangs, I get nervous when I go for a hair cuts because I’ve had some traumatic experiences. Luckily I found Cinthia because she did a great job. I got a cut and balayage (they didn’t laugh when I tried to pronounce this lol) and I think it turned out great. Cinthia made sure that while she was lightening my hair that it didn’t get damaged, and now that it’s been over a week with my new cut and color my hair is healthy and I love it. Not only was she professional and did a great job, she was very nice and easy to talk to. In fact everyone there was very friendly!
They also make you feel special by taking photos of your hair using professional lighting equipment which I thought was pretty neat.
I definitely will be back, even if it’s just for a bang trim :)

My hair never stays in curls because it’s just so long and heavy. I came here last minute based on Unilocal reviews and I couldn’t be happier. My girl put as many products needed in my hair to make it stay and it lasted the whole night. Fantastic service and super reasonable prices. Definitely coming back.

I previously came into Main Salon and Bree was my stylist. She no longer is at the salon but Cynthia definitely took good care of me.

I needed a last-​minute haircut so I was able to book an appointment at Mane salon.
I had my haircut with Cynthia. She’s a real nice young lady but she totally butchered my hair! I even went back to have her correct it and it’s still horrible. My hair looked better before my haircut. I’m sorry to say that I will not be going back to that Salon ever again. Now I have to go and spend more money to have my hair fixed elsewhere.
The layers are completely choppy and I have to curl my hair because it looks terrible if I straighten it. Even when I curl it it doesn’t look very good. She has a lot of positive reviews so I don’t know what went wrong. Based on my experience I cannot recommend her for a haircut :(
UPDATE: I was contacted by the salon and asked to remove my review from Unilocal.Since I refused it was reported to Unilocal and removed. I have since reposted my review and removed any content that was deemed «promotional».

Found this little gem of a salon on IG. So happy I did! Nick made me feel welcome as a newbie. He was gentle with my hair and thorough with the process. His suggestions and information about how and what he would do to my hair was awesome for a change. I purchased products that were used in my hair and still love them!
The salon has some pretty awesome natural elements to the inside, which I absolutely loved!
Go see Nick and give this salon a try! You’ll love it!

I desperately needed a haircut so I thought I’d try this place since it was close to home and open on a Sunday, and I’m glad I did. I got my hair cut by David and he did a fantastic job, I’m so happy with it. He knew exactly what look I was going for and executed it beautifully. The entire staff was super sweet so I think I might just be a regular here. Thanks so much!

Cute little store… behind the Taco Bell. The salon has been upgraded and refreshed… just made their one year mark. I called in for a wash and style. They do it for $ 25 (including a cut, but I didn’t need that) as a daily special. Nick was wonderful! I just broke my ankle, so washing my hair in a shower was not happening in the near future. Nick made me feel like a new woman. He gave a relaxing head massage and styled my hair perfectly. It was just like the picture I showed him. He also layered in some dry shampoo for me knowing my foot situation. He gave several helpful suggestions to keep my hair looking good with the dry shampoo.

Love love love my hair! Came in with some pictures for Nick of some ideas of what I wanted. We met in the middle and my hair looks great. Can’t wait to see how our process comes out in the end… found my new soul brother. We are definitely cut from the same cloth

I remember hearing about this place a while back from someone wondering where they should get their haircut. Since I haven’t had a decent haircut for a very long time, I decided to give these girls a try.
Man, was it worth it! I got an awesome cut and you never feel like they’re rushing to get you out the door so that they can move onto another customer. It almost feels like you have your own private place.

My sister found this place for me and I am happy she did! I had been fighting the urge to chop my hair off for some time now and finally just made my appointment at Mane to do so!
Very happy with the results & I got use to the new length very quickly too :)

I was looking for a new place to get my hair done.
After going to someone for five years it was time for a change.
I saw the Unilocal reviews and they are open 7 days a week. As you all know it’s so hard to find a place open on Sunday’s.
From the moment I called to make an appointment I immediately appreciated the customer service.
I came in on a Sunday morning and Nick was already ready for me. I was greeted and made to feel right at home.
The vibe is so chill. Let’s just say at some point they were playing some Johnny cash and everyone was in conversation.
I mean that’s what you come to a salon for, right?
Get away for a few hours, have conversation and walk out looking fabulous.
Loved my first experience with Nick and I will be returning.
One of my favorite things about Nick so far, he really has a lot of great tips.
He also takes the time to speak with you about how to care for your hair at home. So appreciated!
