Great guy. Customer service was fantastic. As a stay at home mother his free estimate helped me out. Very knowledgable and doesn’t make you feel stupid. Can’t wait to tell the hubby we found a plumber. Thanks Marshall.

Marshall is an old school gentleman and a terrific plumber. Thorough, efficient, polite to an extreme. He did a variety of plumbing related jobs for us: changed the water pressure regulator, changed a leaking sprinkler valve and moved its location, hooked up the washing machine and gas dryer, tightened loose fixtures, provided sage advice on why not to flush the old water heater, and even helped me carry some non-​plumbing loads in from the car, as well as lending a tool to the gardener.
Marshall works alone, so he doesn’t always answer the phone right away. He will get back to you, and he will be there when he said he would, or call to let you know his status.

Absolutely terrific! Having to call a plumber is a lot like going to the dentist… horrifying. But this guy is the best. I called because of a pretty severally backed up drain at my commercial kitchen. Marshall answered the phone and was out to me two hours later at our mutually agreed upon time. He was pleasent, funny and efficient. He diagnosed and treated the problem within 20 minutes and it cost me WAY less than I thought. Great experience. My plumbing needs both commercial and residential will go to no one else.

Marshall came in to fix some sinks that were long overdue to be looked at. Friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining … overall great plumber.
Looking to find him now for more repairs and can’t seem to reach anyone on the number listed. Anyone know how Marshall is doing???

Marshall is awesome! Even on a Saturday he called me back within a reasonable time, and was able to come out the same day. He showed up within the time window given, gave me a firm estimate before he started working and explained everything involved. He is experienced, efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up after he was done. He even found a smaller related issue and fixed it also for the original amount quoted. This guy is honest and friendly. Definitely recommend Marshall

I left him a message but he did not call me back. I called him again in the morning and he gave me a nice apology…(he just got busy at work and it got too late to return my call). He came to the house within the hour after talking to him. I should have asked how much he charged for the main clean out… but I didn’t. He charged me about $ 100 more than I’m used to paying for a clean out and he gave me no warranty. But he did a good job and sanitized the area before leaving. He also took the time to explain everything… So he’s good but too expensive. Get a price from him before he does work.

I had a horrible plumbing disaster and I called Marshall because of these Unilocal reviews. I was not disappointed. He came quickly and resolved all of my issues for what I consider to be a reasonable price. I will use him for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

I have been a homeowner for over 30 years and have good plumbers and not so good, but Marshall is excellent.
I called the «smell good plumbers» to give me an estimate on repairing a hot water heater that wouldn’t stay lit. They were extremely couteous and prompt. Their estimate was over $ 350.00 and I felt that was way too high.
So, I called Marshall and he came out and gave me an estimate of about half of the previous estimate.
I gave him the go-​ahead and he said he’d have to return the following day because he needed to pick up the neccessary parts to effect a repair.
He returned as promised the next day and had the repair done in about an hour. He then told us that the parts were less than expected and reduced his price accordingly. WOW! He didn’t have to do that! But, he did.
I can’t say enough positive about the service and respect he extended. He’s the man!

Marshall is a very good plumber. He has a lot of experience, which is important since a plumber needs to visualize problems that he can not see. We always call him whenever we have a plumbing problem.

Offered free estimate; got free estimate. Offered to completely fix my leaking bath tub faucet before charging us anything. Attempted to fix but failed, and then demanded 100 dollars for trying or he wouldn’t leave, even though he said he’d fix it first before charging us. Wooooow. The previous reviews were unreliable, bewarned. Bath tub faucet still leaking… I never review for anything, for neither good nor bad services, but this was so ridiculous I had to act.

As a young homeowner, I can say that I am very pleased with Marshall’s work. He was very easy to make an appointment with and was prompt with work.
He fixed the shower problem I was having with great expertise and was very clear on the process and solution options for my shower. His level of professionalism is very pleasing. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs and will call him in the future.

Marshall came to fix my water heater when it broke down. He was very friendly & professional. When the water heater stopped working later because it detected a paint smell, he came back right away & checked on it right away without charge. He is honest & trustworthy.

Marshall is a wonderful plumber! Did not use him for a previous job, but remembered his demeanor and called him for something else. He did great work and had a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone.

Marshall came to my girlfriends house to fix a leaky washing machine tap. I had him fix a flap in my toilet as well.
He is a super nice guy and knows his business.
He’s been wrenching on pipes for years and it shows.

Marshall was everything I wanted in a plumber. Water heater went out, he was prompt, polite, and explained to me, in detail, what issues I was having. I do not mind playing more to have something done right but it needs to be explained and make sense, he was most certainly did that. Highly recommend !

My experience with Marshal was… mind numbing. I felt like everything was an excuse for something completely unrelated to me or my plumbing job. Marshal mentioned at least twice about how he just had to pay the registration for his work truck. Then he complained about paying for his state plumbing contractor’s license. Then he complained that he has to pay for insurance/​bond. He then complained about the work a previous plumber had done at my house, even though it just cleared the permits with the city inspector. Then he complained that city inspectors are a jack of all trades, but a master of none and that they don’t really know any one trade at all.
Wow. I just want my plumbing job to be taken care of and not have to worry about Marshal’s problems. It’s not like the government decided that Marshal was the only business person, contractor, working individual who has to pay for this stuff. I’m not sure if Marshal and I just didn’t click or maybe he had an off day. But I felt myself dozing off when Marshal would complain about every little detail of adult life, and then to say that every minute obstacle in the plumbing job was a problem that had to dissected… well, I felt like he was getting me primed for the big $$ estimate.
Needless to say, we didn’t mesh and I won’t be using Marshal. I’m sure he’s a qualified plumber and he is very polite. But, golly, can we just get down to business? As a consumer, I just really want to know a) how much is this going to cost? b) how long will it take to complete? c) how are you going to accomplish the goal? d) what is your warranty?
As Marshal was leaving, another plumber was coming to give me an estimate. Marshal had asked me earlier if I was going to get other bids. Did it matter? Wasn’t Marshal going to give me his best price? Is there a different price if I don’t get other bids? In any case, Marshal said he’d give me a bid in two to three days. It’s been about a month and I never received that estimate.

I had a leak coming from my master bath and like I normally do I Unilocal for that specific service in my area. Make a long story short Marshall plumbing comes up and say to myself why not, I call he says he’ll give a free estimate and he’ll be by in the morning. He shows up early as I asked and gets to work. He cut a few small holes in the ceiling around the leak and finds the problem. He shows me a cracked «Y» drain pipe that needed to be replaced and that was where the leak was coming from. Mind you that whole time Marshall was thoroughly explaining everything he was doing, he quoted me what I thought was a fair price and fixed my leak. Marshall is very honest and an all around great guy and that’s hard combination to find in a person making service calls to your home. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great plumber!!! I am very pleased with every aspect of Marshall Plumbing’s work at my home. It was beyond my expectations. The service person was very professional. He showed up almost immediately, explained my problem and fixed it very fast.
