We enjoyed a Valentine’s day lunch and was pleasantly surprised that Nuno’s was wide open for seating. Service was a bit on the slow side considering we were one of 3 groups in the place, but we weren’t in a hurry. They went above and beyond though when we asked if their Sangria included cantaloupe, as my wife is allergic. The waiter was not sure and contacted the head bartender, whom was not in that day and within minutes let us know our answer. The Sangria was very tasty. The food was amazing! All of the items were fairly standard Mediterranean fare with a Portuguese twist. I highly recommend the Pasta Bolognese. It was flavorful but not too spicy. We also enjoyed the Porquinhos(bacon-wrapped dates) which were delightful.

Made an online reservation, were seated in the outdoor seating area without being told ahead of time, even though it was a warm day, it gets cold and drafty at night, there was no outdoor heating near us and we were freezing cold we went back to our cars and got jackets and blankets but some of our party was still cold and miserable. Ordered drinks, Sangria was too sweet, like Kook-aid, no one could drink it so we had to return it. We asked for a heater and were told there was only one and we could not have it. Food was good. We asked to be moved indoors since we were cold and could not enjoy our evening, management made no apologies, really?

This is a great dinner spot! Surprisingly spacious inside with one side a bar and bar tables, the other side restaurant-style. Service is excellent and very friendly. Food is Portuguese-style. Choose from an ace selection of tapas(the mussels with prosciutto get at least 10⁄10!) — you can easily spend the meal only on the tapas menu — which we did, supplementing with a tasty quinoa salad. The entrees all look good, but they will have to wait until the next visit.

What a wonderful place! I just made it my favorite spot. The food was great and the drinks were equally delicious. Great place for girls lunch or a nice day date.,

Lovely ambiance, familiar faces of servers and bartenders brings a warmth to the atmosphere. I love the Chianti and the scallops dish — I also received a dish from the chef that was a fried corn and cheese bite — I hope they add it to the menu because it was among the top of the several things I tried. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any friend — the only downside I would say is I would like more comfortable chairs provided because I want to sit and dine for quite a while :)

I came here once on a whim and it was probably the best decision I made in 2015. Great atmosphere, great food, great people, great everything. I’m addicted to coming here, and I always have a good time. Order my drink, white Russian with belvedere, and a shot of espresso.

Second time here and have to say absolutely love this place … servers are sweet and have amazing customer service, food is delicious, bar tenders on point and the owner is sweet as well!!! Wish they had few more vegi or white meat options but nonetheless absolutely love having a place in the inland empire! If your in the area definitely come check them out! P.s that sample crab cake you guys gave out on Friday night should totally be put on the menu because it was delicious!

We ordered the Paella Valenciana and it was very good, the complimentary empanadas and caprise the chef sent our way were excellent too. I was a bit disappointed with the piri piri chicken(not the sandwich) this came as a leg and thigh combination, flavor was great just a bit dry. My daughter had the francesinha, great sauce flavor I can almost taste salsa brava on it but with lots of meat, definitely a meat lovers choice. The service provided by Josephine made the five stars, she was on top of things, will definitely be back.

Amazing Food drinks and experience. Everyone’s very nice and makes you feel welcome. I always go with my girls for lunch and we keep coming back. Their marguerita pizza is my favorite by far! Must try.

Nice place to eat if you are in the area. If they are busy the service might be slow — be warned. Most everything on the menu is good. Like the layout. Good feel to the place. Check them out.

This is one of our go-to places for brunch. The food is delicious. I like the tortilla paisana(linguiça in an egg and potato frittata with two kinds of pesto on top.) Their take on French toast is also good, as is the linguiça omelette.) We like the relaxed environment. Service is good, but sometimes they might be behind when there are large parties in the restaurant with you. I haven’t tried out drinks or dinner yet.

Did NOT disappoint once again! Love this place, the staff and Chef Liz. Our favorites consisted of porquinhos, stuffed mushrooms, caprese, seafood pasta, Sol Drop(alcoholic beverage), a quinoa salad an Francesinha. Everything was delicious!

This little gem found on the boarder of Upland and Claremont, is pretty amazing. The ambiance and décor were cozy and bistro-like. The kitchen is visible from your table, with a huge wood burning pizza oven. Service: Julie was great, and recommended a delicious desert that was home-made by the owner’s mother(and not on the menu). It was a chocolate cake, that was beyond delectable. Food: Tapas, and italian/portuguese cuisine. I recommend the bacon wrapped dates, empanadas and seafood paella. Also tried the soup de jour(chicken wild rice), and pasta bolognese. Drinks: El bebe(tequila cocktail) was amazing, and their Sangria was hands down, one of the best I’ve had ever(and I order sangria everywhere I can). Port wine, on the dessert menu, is also well worth it, very good. Price: Decent for the amount of food served. Tapas are smaller portions, and also decent prices. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I really like Nuno’s. The food is different from anything else you can get in the IE. I thought the food would be super expensive because everything has fancy names, but the food is very affordable. I’ve brought friends, they’ve all loved it. Their signature cocktails are amazing and their sangria is to die for.

Haven’t been to this area in years, but daughter had a game and we were hangry(her game was throughout lunch, so we couldn’t grab food until 3pm). Hubby was looking for some lighter fare(no fried food and smaller portions) and daughter wanted air conditioning and cold drinks, so this place looked like it was up everyone’s alley. Located in a strip mall, so there was plenty of parking. With Check-in, 10% off food. They had seating inside & out(it was very humid outside, so we opted inside). The ceilings are high, so sound carries and the few guests at the bar were pretty loud. But we were the only one’s seated at a table. Servers were quick to greet us. Because we were between lunch & dinner, only small plates, salads & pizzas were available from the menu. Drinks: Sangria-hubby liked. I thought it tasted thicker, like Spiced Mulled Wine. Tasty, but not as refreshing as a typical sangria. Sauvignon Blanc-Good Food: Beef Wellington-puff pastries w/beef inside. These were tasty & hubby loved them Porquinhos-dates wrapped w/bacon. These were my daughter’s favorite. Prosciutto Melone-Melon wasn’t sweet enough, so it was average. Charcuterie-Good selection of meats & cheeses. Sweet Potato & Corn Soup-Restaurant was cool about letting hubby try and sample and he ordered. Service was very good & the small plates were tasty and they have a full bar, so I would definitely come back if in the area.

This place is located in the most unlikely of strip malls but it is a hidden gem for sure. We came for lunch before heading to a friend’s for a Sunday funday BBQ. I had the Black Stallion Chardonnay & the girlfriend had the Kung Fu Girl Riesling. We came in at the«transition» from lunch to dinner period so they didn’t have a lot to offer so we settled on having salads. She had the Cabra doce salad because the server said that was one of her favs and I had the Prosciutto salad. We decided that this is place worth coming back to when we are in the neighborhood.

First visit was in that bad transition period between their breakfast and lunch menu, which apparently ended at 2pm. I arrived at 2:30 or so. Nevertheless, I grabbed at table near the bar and the server told me what I could choose from at that time since the full dinner menu didn’t start until 3. I didn’t feel like a salad, and on a 100 degree day pizza seemed wrong too. Ultimately I selected the Portuguese sandwich called Francesinha: two thick slices of bread filled with layers of ham, sausage, and beef with cheese. Outside was smothered in a pureed tomato sauce with a fried egg on top. Served in a bowl surrounded by French fries, the presentation was striking. The best way to eat this monster is with a steak knife and fork. Delicious and flavorful. The fries were good but way too much carbs, I should have selected salad or fruit instead. The bartender was cool and brought me half a pint of the beer I ordered from the old keg, and a full pint from the new one. I appreciated the gesture as well as the friendly regulars at the bar. I will definitely return to try their signature dishes and tapas sometime soon.

Long overdue review! Came here during their soft opening hours with a couple of gal pals to celebrate my work wifey’s promotion. Love to hear of new-non-chain-delicious-sounding restaurants in the area! They’ve got tapas and entrees to choose from on their menu. Their tapas sounded a very appetizing than their entreesso we ended up sharing all sorts of plates. As expected with almost any tapas based restaurant, you pay a lot more money for such a small, small serving… Here’s a rundown of what I tasted: Gambas al ajillo — DELICIOUS and well presented on the plate. But only comes with 2 shrimp… Pinchos — hands down, the beef is the winner. Worth ordering! Ervilhas guisadas — the largest serving of the night. Surprised that this was served as a tapa. Very hearty and strong in flavor. It’s more of a stew. I enjoyed it! Pasteis de bacalhau — I really liked these. I think the plate only comes with two smallish croquettes. Reminds me of a crabcake, but made with cod. I’d order this again Sliders — smaller version of their burger. This one was disappointing. Overall, they’re pretty dry with a subtle smoky kick to it. The meat wasn’t juicy and it needed more sauce or possibly even more veggies? According to the waitress, they added it to the menu since it was well-liked after introducing it a few weeks prior. I must be alone in this, but I don’t get it. Bacalhau a ze do pipo — way too much potato to eat on its own. I’d definitely recommend the croquettes over this. Patatas bravas — mmm not bad, but not amazing either. And because I MUST always try desserts: The chocolate cake — it was good, but nothing to remember. It may easily be too rich for those who aren’t head over heels for chocolate. The banana foster type dessert. I forgot what they called it – flambé? This wasn’t presented as I expected it would. The bananas were mashed within a crêpe(?) and topped with caramel sauce. It’s definitely great for those with a sweet tooth, but it bothered me that I either couldn’t taste the banana or I just wasn’t getting any with each bite I took. Overall, I look forward to coming back and trying their entrees(paella!) and drinking sangrias(DELISH!).
