Oaks Apartments

I’ve read some of the reviews here and I’m pretty sure these people are just disgruntled tenants. I have lived at the oaks for about a year now and I’ve had nothing but pleasant interactions with all the office staff. They are very professional and maintenance requests are taken care of super quick. They really go the extra mile to make residents feel appreciated here. They have a bunch of events for residents. more recently they had large papa johns pizzas form5 bucks! Dunno about you but who doesn’t love pizza. Anyway I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking to move. Very quiet, clean and overall awesome community

Do not move here. Seriously just keep looking because living here will just be absolutely horrible. We’ve been here 9 months and I cant WAIT to get out of here. There is a constant spider/​bug problem. The ventilation is horrendous! The Master bedroom is never hit when it comes to the A/​C or the heater. So get ready to have a huge electricity bill trying to keep the place cool. They «fixed» the problem 3 times amd yet everything is the same so we just gave up. Maintence problem? Get ready to have to call at least once a day for a few days until someone gets sent to your place. The parking is an absolute joke. Dont even think to have people over because they will be parking on the street for sure (not the greatest neighborhood out there) The pool is always full of screaming children in tee shirts and basketball shorts even though the contract we signed strictly prohibited such attire. Oh and be ready to be woken up by the intense smell of Marijuana from neighboring apartments if u decide to sleep with your window open. Ugh, i can go on forever on why NOT to live here, but just trust me, stay away.

As far as the Office staff goes I completely agree with the previous review. Very nice to you when you’re trying to rent an apartment but once you get in they are completely rude have no idea what one says to the other don’t walk the property don’t care about what goes on. Put a deposit on the apartment about a month in advance and they knew the date we were moving in. The apartment was not cleaned carpet had not been shampooed the day before we moved in. I thought that having one assigned parking space was a good thing but it’s not don’t come home late you will not be able to find a spot to park your cars. Lived in our previous apartment for three years was friendly with all neighbors. People here are just rude and disrespectful do not take a downstairs apartment no carpet linoleum floors sounds like a herd of elephants constantly people upstairs slam doors every time they do my pictures are all crooked have had to literally tape them to the walls. The apartment we originally looked at had patio with steppingstones really liked it but the day that we moved in the steppingstones were gone replaced with crappy bark. and the office and nobody can give me an answer. Will no longer call the office because they are just rude and stupid. Cannot wait until our lease is up so we can get the hell out of hell.

There are cockroaches in our house… Cheap carpet the spike strip that holds the carpent stabbs your feet so you have to wear shoes inside. Cheap cabenents in poor condition. toilets aren’t properly installed. just could of been much better. Pool isn’t that clean at all. Reaks of chlorine and that’s not typically a good thing. Pools shouldn’t ever smell this bad. The dishwasher just doesn’t work in general. And the garbage disposal keeps breaking. The gym closes at 10 at night which is completly shitty cause when I get home from work I like to work out but its difficult to do that when the gym is locked up. They charge you for the key to the gym which is like 25 bucks. And that should be included since we live here instead of makeing another quick 25 dollars just shows that they have have «Jewish» qualities … No offense to Jewish people … Some of the washer machines in the laundrymat doesn’t work. Just had higher expectations. This would be the last place I go for a apartment
