I don’t usually go onto Unilocal and do reviews, but when a company provides great service I have to take the time and write this up. I was referred to All About Paws by a veterinarian in Rancho Cucamonga. I have struggled to find a good groomer for my dog because she is a Chow mix and many groomers have handled her once and then refused to provide service, or have required that I hold her while they shave her down.
This place completely surprised me: they are very friendly, well-​priced, and they put the animal first. Melissa is my contact here and she was great with Leia, even giving her treats! She took her time to walk her back and get her comfortable with the environment. There was no rush or stress in grooming my girl. I’ve no scheduled regularly monthly grooming appointments. I highly recommend contacting Melissa and working with her!!!

Melissa is the greatest pet owner, groomer and one of the sweetest young ladies that I have ever met. She has been grooming Chewy now for almost 4 years (he was 4 in Sept.) and I would never dream of taking Chews to another groomer except her. She is so compassionate and caring with him, you see Chews suffered with pancreatitis for quite awhile through his life so I am very particular with the people that care for him i.e. Vet, Groomer, Trainers. I knew immediately that Melissa had a perfect pet personality because Chewy paws at the door to get into her shop and he never wants to leave her. That’s the sign of a person that truly cares for your animal as much as you do. I never worry about leaving him with her for grooming because I KNOW with full confidence that he is being treated like a prince, like she would for her own pets. As an RN I know how hard it is to work with the public sometimes but Melissa never has a bad day or if she does I have never seen it, Chewy always comes back to me looking gorgeous, smelling like a million bucks but also feeling good (pep in his step), he has never had issues with itching or rashes or anything else. As a matter of fact the veterinarian even comments on how well Chews is groomed and how good & cool his skin is. I won’t lie before Melissa I only had Chewy groomed by 2 other people on 2 separate occasions and then we found Melissa and it was love at first grooming. We drive in from San Bernardino to Melissa’s shop which is about 30 miles one way, Chewy and I would drive to LA and beyond for Melissa (YES she is that good). I have referred several people to Melissa’s shop and will continue to refer others, she is an HONEST, HARDWORKING, and BEAUTIFUL person, inside and out. Please make an appointment with her and make your pup happy and yourself too. Once you meet her you will never need another groomer. Brought my yorkie here for a nail trim since she lets me do anything to her EXCEPT for her nails. Melissa got me in and out in 10 minutes and my dog was completely calm and comfortable the entire time amazingly. Very happy with Melissa and her dog magic powers haha

Melissa, I can not believe you have the audacity to still lie just to save face on Unilocal.You NEVER told me I could no longer bring my dogs to your shop. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE! I decided NEVER to return to your shop because of what my dogs went through in your care.
I did NOT fabricate a story to slander you or your shop. Why would I do that? I’m not an evil person Melissa. I wrote a review on what happened to my dogs and how they reacted after being groomed by you.
I have evidence of the post you deleted of Indy from your facebook page. I checked and this picture is NOT on your shop’s instagram account. My question to you is why delete this post when I was inquiring if any new products were used on my dogs? I know why, because it was a NEW product you picked up at the trade show and tested on your client’s dog!
I wrote the review for both of my dogs because they both reacted the same way after bringing them to you. They were groomed a few days apart from each other and this was right after you attended the trade show and picked up new products.
Melissa, if you say I remarked how happy Penny was then why would you have told me I could no longer bring my dogs to your shop? I’ll tell you why, because these events NEVER happened. They are lies YOU fabricated.
I have no idea what you are talking about when you say you bent over backwards to accommodate me. If anything, I have accommodated you! I remember when you called asking if I could bring Penny in a little later because you were running behind and I said that was okay. I will admit that I did ask you to redo her face area ONE time because it was too long and I specifically told you to make it short during the consultation. But to say that you stayed hours after closing even doing complete re-​grooms is ANOTHER BLATANT LIE! This NEVER occurred. Also, what are you talking about when you wrote you gave your time off to answer my many questions? What questions? I honestly laughed when I read this lie.
I have no more words but to say that it is very upsetting to see that you continue to lie Melissa.

To get rid of a yeast infection naturally, try a white vinegar and water rinse during the summer months. One gallon of water mixed with a cup of white vinegar. Do not pour on the head or get it near the eyes. Pour from the collar back, rubbing into the coat and skin especially getting the most yeasty parts which are armpits, feet, groin, around the tail. Towel dry without rinsing.

Typical shopping center suite groomer except all employee spoke English! A+!. Easy to find. Very inviting employee’s. All were very friendly to you and your pup! Just got the pups nails trimmed, very quick hassle free. $ 10 thanks! Would go back for nail trim again.

Melissa has been grooming my two dogs, Ollie the corgi and Suki the husky, for several months now and I just love the way they look, smell, and feel when she’s done with them. They are so well taken care of, they are happy to be there, and the attention to detail is impeccable. They get bathed, nails trimmed, fur trimmed, ears cleaned, and cute little bandanas at the end of each appointment. You can really tell that Melissa loves dogs.

First time taking our new pet to a groomer, first time ever using a groomer. We are all happy. The place was clean yet busy with pets, owners and employees, cool vibe to the place. Melissa was friendly and attentive with our little boy. Good service, good price and right on time. Melissa was kind enough to alert us to a skin condition our vet had neglected to mention and provided Info on how to address it. We will be back!

This is what a good groomer Melissa is: I have taken my dogs to her ONE time, and already my first thought when looking at a new house was: ‘but I don’t want to look for a new groomer– I finally found one I like.’ Guess it’s time to look closer to home, because my babies love her.

Would recommend Pup Scale Dog Grooming to anyone looking for a great place to drop their kids off for a full service. I have never taken my two little ones to any groomers and never considered it either, but that’s me being over protective. Melissa is a great person and owner. I have a miniature dachshund and pembroke welsh corgi.

A little late on review. Great service with a smile. smokey looked awesome after his grooming session. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Melissa was INCREDIBLE with my pup, Cooper!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I love that weeks after his grooming, he still looked great due to the care she took in shaping him properly. Thank you Melissa, and team! We will be back without a doubt!

Melissa was flexible with scheduling, making it ways to get Copper in when it was convenient for me. I was please to have Melissa give me an estimate of how long it would take and a phone call when he was ready — no wondering how long it would take. Melissa’s attention to detail was unmatched, and she made recommendations for better grooming based on his breed. I could see Melissa’s love for dogs the entire time. I knew Copper was being loved on while he was being groomed. All this great care at a great price! Thanks again Melissa!

Melissa is amazing. My fur baby was so itchy in this heat and I thought she just needed a bath and a good brush, but Melissa helped figure out the real problem was that she wasn’t shedding properly because I have shaved her in the past and messed up her shedding schedule. After over 2 hours, my fur baby was clean, shiny, soft, and no longer itchy! All at an amazing price. True dog lovers take good care of your fur babies here.

A million thanks … Definitely will bring back Bear for his next cut. You girls are awesome and love the way you handle the pets. Best choice ever :)

Wow. Our dog has never looked so good. I have tried various groomers over the years. Petsmart are the worst, btw. They all do a decent job, but usually a little rushed. Melissa was awesome. She took a same day appointment and took her time. Our dog came out with the most perfect haircut and looked like he was ready for a dog show. My mom, an artist… Very difficult to please, was ecstatic.

As a guy, I could really care less what the dog looks like, as long as it’s a haircut. What I do care about is how my dog is treated. I used to take the dog to a certain «big box» pet store. I have to tell you my dog did not like going at all. My wife had me bring the dog to Melissa. What a difference. My dog is a lot less apprehensive about being dropped off and that says a lot to me. I’d rather pay a little more for the TLC she receives from Melissa.

I have a westie who has not been groomed in 3 years (sad I know) when I took her in to get groomed Melissa was very kind and happy in the first five mins that my dog and Melissa met I knew they would be best friends Melissa took her back and said she would call me when she’s ready 3 hours later I come in to the shop to see I have a new dog! My westie look amazing!!! I was so happy no more shedding yay but the thing that I love the most is you can tell these girls love their job and that makes me feel so comfortable when leaving my dog there. Ladies you did a fantastic job and consider us regulars :)

Honestly, I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else… EVER. I have a Jack Russell that I’ve brought to Pupscale numerous times and the professionalism and care is unmatched. The pricing is really competitive, but honestly I’d pay double for the amount of attention provided for my pup. Plus, the head groomer, Mel, is hot.
