The Eye Shoppe Optometry

Decided to give the Upland office a call regarding the Living Social deal I saw posted online. The deal was stated as $ 169 ($ 420 regular price) for 6 months worth of contacts and a full contact lense exam. I wanted to know how many pairs I would be getting. Since I know contacts need to be switched out every two to three weeks, I wanted to make sure my calculations of 12 pairs was correct as a 6 month supply was correct. I told her I wait closer to 3 weeks, sometimes a few days past 3 weeks, I was told that I would be getting 6 pairs. Then, when I corrected the person on the other end of the line and told her that the contacts are marketed as 2 week lenses, I was put on hold and told that she was wrong and I would get 12 pairs. While on hold, I had asked her to check the regular price of the exam and 12 pair box of contacts. I was quoted $ 75 for a 12 pair box and $ 129 ($ 89 plus $ 40…and she couldnt tell me what the extra «plus $ 40» was) for the contact lense exam. So the regular price for that package (that was stated as $ 420), was inaccurate. The retail price is less than half of what is stated on Living Social. When I questioned the inaccuracy in the retail price, I could hear the receptionist eating while talking to me and the answer I got was a giggly «oh I don’t know why it says $ 420.» Based on this experience, it goes without saying, I will not be visiting this office.

I had LASIK surgery about 5 years ago, since then I was searching for a place to take care of my eyes!
Finally I found it. Dr. Lee worked in LASIK field for about a decade before entering a private practice, he says!
He definitely knew his stuff and his office had a lot of selection and his staff was just amazing!

Absolutely the best selection and service in town!
Limited doctor hours but worth the wait!

I took my Dad to see Dr Lee. My Dad can be tough to deal with Dr Lee and Krystal were great. My Dad thinks his eye site is great because he passed the stupid DMV exam and he doesn’t need bi focals. Dr Lee and Krystal somehow talked him into them without making him upset. Thanks guys!

Had my eye exam done about 2 months ago and i love how professional the dr and staff is i had trial contacts and Crystal followed up to see how i was doing with the new prescription. I would recommend to anyone i am so happy with there services

Got referred here by a friend. The office was very clean and upscale. Crystal executed the eye exams. Super nice and professional. Dr. Lee took over and checked my vision. Very thorough and explained everything that was happening and answered a barrage of questions as this was my first trip to an optometrist. Prescribed me to glasses and contacts and Crystal helped me pick out the frames for me. Everything went smoothly. Vast selection of frames. Everyone in the office was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you want high end brand frames, this is the place to go.

I rarely leave reviews but I must say (unless they fix this issue) will I never step foot into this office ever again. I went in to this optometrist office a couple months back as a first timer mainly went in to get contacts I wear a special type contacts due to having keratoconus. I went through Dr. Lee’s eye exam and was told that they would check with their supplier to get pricing and availability on these contacts and I would be called back within a day. It’s been over 2 – 3 months now without anything. I’m to the point where I will never set foot in this place ever again unless they correct their faults. Going to find another optometrist off of Unilocal that has good reviews.

I just finished my eye exam with Dr. Lee and he was fantastic. He was very pleasant, he explained everything in detail and made sure I understood everything he was telling me. I didn’t feel rushed or confused about the process.
The Shoppe is very clean with a big open layout and has a big selection of frames to choose from.
The girls are wonderful and friendly and help you out with everything you need and even give you advice on what they think looks good. :-)
Overall it was a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
