One of everything in this store for starters… Discovering the easy-​install-​products and new tools of the various trades is what is «„way“» cool here. Not every project has a time-​saving way of installing, but when you finally stumble upon one, wow, nice. If your a fix-​it person, this place is the place to visit before starting your repair or install.

Never have i came here and someone tell me that they’re closed. Today for some reason a lady was at the door keeping customers from even going in… Crazy and I’m not pleased

I had Home Depot windows installation done at my work. The problem is Home Depot didn’t bother to pull a permit, so the city is now giving me fine’s and citations. I have called and talked to the Home Depot costumer service probably two dozen times. They sent their man out a Mr Patterson to look at the windows and he said he would go to city to see how to resolve the problem. However Mr Patterson never bothered going to the city and didn’t bother following up and calling me. I have called Mr. Patterson boss a Mr. Murphy and he is now ignoring me as well as Mr. Patterson. The people at Home Depot 877 customer service number are very nice and try and help but their co-​workers in charge of the window installation division in the Inland Empire, CA are flakey and do not follow thru and just ignore mine and their own Home Depot customer service calls as well as their emails. My advice is go to Home Depot for tools but AVOID hiring them to install anything on your home. Avoid them like the plague

Monique and Chris delivered excellent customer service. They always take the time to answer all questions throughly. The best paint department we’ve ever been to.

Very nice home depot with a rental department. I find very knoledgeable ex-​contractors that work here. I recently was changing out a Moen shower valve which require a special puller and not only did they have all the parts and tool here but Michael in plumbing was awsome. Keep up the great customer service Upland HD.

Every time I have been here the staff are helpful and courteous. The people assigned to the relevant departments know their stuff, certainly for Electrical, Plumbing and Gardening which I seem to be in most.
Don’t really know if the prices are comparable, for things I have checked online they seem to be good.
The returns dept. is always very helpful when I’ve bought too much or even lost the original receipt. I recently returned a bathroom cupboard that I purchased online, I didn’t have the original packing anymore, no problem, quick call to HQ and the refund was back on my card.
There are a couple of things I’ve needed that they don’t sell, but that is what the Internet is for.
They have tool rental, which I haven’t used yet, but I will be later this year.
Agree on the other comments. Why does the Telephone ringer have to be so loud on the PA system, it becomes VERY annoying after a while.

This is a pretty good store, it’s very clean, and the staff are usually helpful, even sometimes to the point of being too helpful if you already know what you need! The fact that it’s dog friendly is nice. We have had quality service here for everything from plumbing parts to tool rentals to major appliance purchases.
The ONLY reason I did not rate this store five stars: The ear-​splitting «telephone ring» sound that comes over the PA system every few seconds. This sound is much louder than it needs to be. I can understand if they want to make sure the phone is answered, but they could use a more pleasing tone like department stores do, or at least make the ring sound quieter. I may be more sensitive to loud, unexpected noises than most people are, but I’ve heard other people complain in the store about this noise as well. This is the only HD I’ve been to so far that has this.

Ordered a refrigerator on black friday… They rescheduled the delivery– never received it so sitting here at home depot trying to figure it out. This is now the 3^rd person to try to help us the other 2 were too busy. Pat in appliances was clearly stressed out & had other upset customers on the phone. I heard her tell another customer shes having «one of those days– and has 2 other people to call» she also tried to have us and another customer do the dirty work and try to find out where are stuff is– i do feel bad for pat cause theres always those days but anyways… Home depot needs to get their customer service together… A customer should never feel like their a burden. Thank you to margie for actually trying to help us… We will see what the outcome will be.

Christmas Tree died in one week worst tree ever ! We normally get two trees every year this year we got one from Armstrong Garden Center and one from Home Depot $ 100.00 will never get another tree from home depot lived 1 week turned brown! My 2^nd tree from Armstrong is still going strong …

Home Depot denies war veteran his discount!!! Says he doesn’t qualify anymore… So I am at Home Depot today and the older gentleman in front of me shows his ID for a veterans discount. The clerk tells him he does not qualify for a discount so the gentleman asked to see a manager. They ask me to go to another line because this may take a few minutes. I tell them no thanks I want to hear this.
So a young cocky full of himself moron comes to talk to the gentleman and says no you do not qualify. The gentleman tells him he has always gotten a discount there. So the moron says well we have told our people to tighten the rules and we only give what corporate requires we give and you do not qualify. The gentleman says he will then take his business elsewhere. The young moron replies that is your choice. The gentleman starts to leave and I step in.
I tell the moron if one of your idiot friends walked through the door right now you would have the option of giving him a discount and with your attitude you would do it. So step over to the register and give this guy his discount. He says he does not qualify for it.
So I tell him look here is how this is going to work. Either you give this guy a discount and I call Home Depot corp and tell them how good of a manager you are in spite of the stupid policy.
Or I go home call Home Depot corp tell them I stupid the policy is and their manager is a moron, then I blast face book and it goes viral and you get to be the moron you are.
I think you know which one he chose!
So people please blast Facebook with this story.

Noticed today that this store has reserved parking for our combat wounded veterans. Just thought this was awesome.

I’m usually on the hunt for a new craft project… I’ve been to the Upland Home Depot on19th st a great handful of times and every single trip has Been a great experience with seriously the most friendly staff!
From the garden department to paint, to the checkout procedure
Wish I knew some names but as a team they rock!

UPDATE: it is now October 30^th (I ordered in May) and the replacement doors are supposed to come today.
The only thing Home Depot did was communicate the return with the builder and refund $ 200 to my credit card to pay to have them re-​installed because they told me to have the broken and describe doors installed originally.
The whole situation is laughable and needless to say, I don’t shop at Home Depot anymore.

To all shoppers or potential customers for Home Depot don’t ever use any gift card from Home Depot and make sure you always have your id with you when you’re planning to return anything even if you have the receipt better than they treat you like a thief because princess Maria will not going to even bother to help and don’t waist your time of calling 1800# they don’t really care

DO NOT PURCHASE TOOL WARRANTIES! This company has the biggest racquet since the mob. It is almost impossible to get a repair on a tool because all the employees are intentionally kept in the dark on what the procedure is to allow a customer to use one. I purchased an air compressor with a three-​year warranty and have spent the past three weeks getting bounced around from one person to another. Taking it from one repair shop that would not repair it; to another repair shop that would not repair it. The shops were supposed to be Home Depot approved shops. Don’t purchase any warranties on tools.

Stopped by Home Depot today to look at some dishwashers, I was a little overwhelmed with all the options and was hoping for a knowledgeable sales person to help. The place was packed and the one guy (who I later found out goes by «Cowboy») who was helping someone, kept letting me know that he would be right over to help me once He was done.
After a few minutes Cowboy came over to help me and man… he blew me away specs on everything. I picked out a dishwasher and he had me done in minutes.
Great price and even better customer service!

This is my learning store, love everything about it, yeah I could be one of those wire a little weird but I love Home Depo so many projects to finish and to start. It is a never end.

Its a good home depot and the staff here in the plumbing, electrical and nursery are nice to me, without exception. And since I’m usually grubby, I appreciate that a lot!
The parking lot here isn’t of great design, but you can exit n enter on the far west side. Too bad the nursery closes so early, it would probably make up for never filing in my plant orders.

Doing errands on a Friday evening was ok until I got a phone call from my daughter explaining that the upstairs hallway bath was leaking. She sent me a blurry picture and I was able to figure out what I needed, right. Upon arriving at this store I immediately sensed parking lot scattered with plenty of open spaces which seemed odd for a Friday evening. Been to one HD store, you know the layout. Found plumbing and got more confused with the amount of fittings available. I may have stood there for at least 20 minutes trying to understand «plumber talk». So once I located what I needed I felt now would be the right time to seek assistance. I walked to the front of store and went straight to «order desk». Employee was quick to call for plumbing assistance over the house speaker. I went back and waited and finally I got someone to come and identify themselves from another department. Explained to me that the person covering plumbing was on a phone call and would not be able to assist. Showed my picture of my issue and explained what I had in my hand was correct. ³⁄₈^th to ⁷⁄₈ is a standard fit. I got home and to my surprise, it didn’t fit. I need ½ to ⁷⁄₈^th. My overall experience today was horrible. Not so much because I walked in blind not knowing what to get but more of lack of service. You are literally left for yourself and if you’re lucky, you might get help from a customer first over a HD employee. This company at one time employed good people with decent background pertaining to department experience. A lot of retired construction workers trying to earn a few dollars. Those days are long gone.
This store is quietly tucked away behind a large commercial retail strip seen from 210 fwy at Campus. Parking lot is shared with other retail space but still manages to provide ample space.
Services available here include commercial truck for hauling material, heavy equipment rentals, carpet cleaning machines, generic key duplicating, lumber cutting,
Like any other HD store, expect to find all the same departments with a lack of service. I should add that I required a 3^rd trip but my time expired at 9PM when store closed.

My husband and I come to Home Depot for everything for our house. We’ve bought blinds, plants, soil, bug spray, paint, paint brushes, screws, tools, patio heat lamp, fire pit, smoke detectors, etc. Home Depot’s prices are better than Lowe’s.
I like this location because it’s close to our house and there’s always plenty of parking. It’s also close to a lot of other stores and places to eat. (Jersey Mike’s, Greek, Hawaiian, Chick-​Fil-​A etc.).
The reason I’m knocking off Stars is for the customer service. We’ve literally been here close to 20 times now. EVERYTIME, we come here and have a question, there are two scenarios. Either 1) we don’t find anybody or 2) we find someone and they are clueless.
We had an issue with our sink one time, and the guy we found had no idea what my husband was looking for. We ended up at ACE hardware. Another time, one of the guys there sold us the wrong part for our sink after we brought in a sample and we had to return it. The most recent time, we needed to cut 2 inches off for the blinds we were buying and there was nobody around. The lady that ended up helping didn’t really know how to use the saw and ruined a pair of blinds that she was cutting for the people ahead of us. She said that she’s normally a «kitchen designer» and they are short staffed.
So my advice would be to know exactly what you are looking for before you come here. It won’t be guaranteed that someone working will be an expert in that area. A majority of the time, they seem rushed or too busy.
The only good experience we’ve had regarding customer service at this particular location was in the Paint department and Garden department. They people working there were knowledgeable in their area.
