Was in the market for carpets in my livingroom and visited this place to see if I could get a quote. The salesperson seemed more interested in talking about his weekend softball team than helping us out and after we went over the quote he told us that the size of our livingroom would not include free installation. So we decided to look elsewhere for carpets. Also when we were looking at prices they had 2 different prices in two different parts of the store and when we asked them to honor it they said that the sale was over and couldn’t honor it. Then he had his coworker remove all of the prices that was not against the wall(bigger samples).

Beware of of this place. I do not recommend buying anything from them. They are deceptive and dishonest. My husband and I went there for some carpet. The guy helping else showed us different carpets and padding. We looked at some high-quality carpet from Tigressa and the guy named Phil assured us that it came with the high-quality pebble blue padding(remember this part). Since the carpet was going to cost us a bit more than average carpet, we went with it because the padding was guaranteed. After the carpet was bought and installed, we noticed that it did not feel as soft as in the showroom. When we called Carpet One and spoke with Phil, and asked about the padding, he told us that the padding we got was the low-end stuff(pieces of foam in mottled colours that you usually see, not the good rubber). We told him that we were supposed to get the pebble blue padding. He said that we did not pay for that type of padding. We then reminded him that he told us the carpet came with the pebble blue padding. He said he does not remember saying that at all(I hate being lied to). After speaking with the head manager Bill, we finally got the pebble blue padding but at a discount of $ 60. We practically paid for it all. Unbelievable!!! We explained the whole situation and all Bill could say was that Phil was just trying to upsell us on buying the good carpet, as any salesman would. We told my dad about the situation. My dad, who works for a private school, said that they used to do business with Carpet One/Buddy’s Flooring, but not anymore after having had experienced problems with them. We wish we would have known that before going to them for carpet.
