I agree with Tiki G: food was awesome but the waitress was … well, maybe she was having a bad day… anyway, go for the great food and hope(and pray) that your waitress is «Happy»(clap along if you feel…)!

Don’t judge this place by the outside, come in and see how wonderful it is. Wonderful atmosphere, music, customer service and best of all the food is excellent! I’ve found a new location for me and hubby on date night along with a family night with kids. This is a resteraunt that I’ll definitely visit again and again! Terrance is the greatest waiter/server also!

Awesome lunch! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Do not judge the place by its location or exterior. The interior is renovated, warm and cozy. The menu is trendy and yummy. I had a salmon salad, my daughter had a burger, both were delicious!

I went here for the first time on Sunday for brunch with my cousin they seated us very quickly. They had a live music as there entertainment. Our waitress greeted us brought us water and took our drink orders. Once she came back with our drinks she took our food order. We waited 10 min for our food. The prices were great and reasonable. I really like this place to eat and will be back soon.

The best part about this place is the food! The chefs definitely do their thing. I’ve been for brunch, happy hour and dinner. The drinks are just ok but the food is always on point. I’ve never had a bad meal there. So why 3 stars? The service sucks and the place does look like an inn. I’m all for something rustic or even a little hole in the wall place but they are over doing it or under doing it. The waiters are soooooooo slow. The food takes forever to come out. If the waiters would just say — all of our food is freshly cooked/-that would set expectation.

The only reason that I didn’t give OTI five stars is because of the one waitress and her customer service or more so her attitude. Since I’m on the subject(lol) OTI should work on the waitress’ attitude(the blond haired one). Okay I’m done ranting. The food here is excellent! We had breakfast and I had the Chesapeake omelette and my sis had the mashed potato omelette. Both were delish! I would definitely go there again I just have to prepare myself in case we get the same waitress.

The food is fantastic! Salmon, wings, Alfredo… all of its excitingly delicious! Bartenders are slow. Wait staff is slow. The owner/chef is very talented but lacks personality. I’m not sure if he’s rude or shy but it comes off lackluster. Go for the food. Don’t be in a rush. Ignore the owner because he’ll ignore you anyway!

My goodness this restaurant’s food is amazing. This place is a hidden gem. Our waiter was extremely patient and friendly with our party of 11. We went for breakfast and they had a lot of good /tasty options to choose from. I ended up getting the catfish and grits. I highly recommend it. The grits were creamy and cheesy. The catfish was fresh and had just the right amount of seasoning. The meal was very well balanced. Everyone in my party of 11 loved their meals. Our waiter told us that dinner is even better. We will definitely be back!

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday(Saturday morning to be exact) Olde Towne Inn was able to accommodate a walk in party of 11 which was SUPER impressive. We were greeted and served by one waiter and his service, enthusiasm and attitude NEVER slipped. Talk about customer service!!! I ordered the French Toast Napoleon which was SUPER delicious and flavorful. I’ve had my fair share of French Toast at establishments across the United States and I have to say this was hands down one of the best!!! I am super sensitive to sugars and salt due to pregnancy however the flavor and he maple syrup was right on point! I was curious with my growing appetite and belly that I would need to order a side of grits(that looked super delicious) or bacon but that dish left me completely satisfied. If you happen to be in the area, check them out and I can promise you will not be disappointed!!!

I went to Old Town Inn, for the first time, on Sunday October 25, 2015 to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation two weeks in advance for 12:30. When I arrived, I was asked how many was in my party and I told her that I had a reservation for 12:30. She asked what name was it under and I told her. She came back and asked me when did I make the reservation because she didn’t see one. I told her two weeks ago and I spoke with someone on 10⁄18 to confirm. I spent about thirty minutes waiting for someone to find my reservation. Once the manager came she told me that they had my reservation under a different name. I wasn’t seated until 1:15. My guest and I had to wait an additional 45 minutes because they couldn’t find the reservation and because there wasn’t any tables available. At no time did anyone apologize for the mix up. We were seated and a waitress took our drink order. I had a birthday cake and asked if someone would take the birthday cake. The waitress said we don’t just take your cake ma’am you have to request it. I said that is what I just did. I asked the waitress for a lighter so we could light the cake to sing happy birthday and she said I have never seen anyone light a cake in here. I told her it would be a first today! I got the manager involved and she said sure you can light your cake. I couldn’t believe the response. Overall I had a good time because of the company I was in. The food was good but the waitress was terrible and never once apologized for the mix up or the poor customer service. I will never go to this place again!

This is a great restaurant located in Upper Marlboro, MD. The they court inside of the restaurant is up-to-date and very I am pleasing. There is parking available one side of the street. So finding parking is easy I was seated right away. Our waiter was very attentive. All of the food came out in a timely manner and also the beverages. I would definitely revisit Olde Towne Inn soon, especially because they have a Groupon.

There is always good and bad reviews to local establishments. Yes the service will be spotty, yes you will get the wrong order, and yes you will have a good time eventually lol. I have been to this place numerous times; it’s certainly hit or mess on customer service but I will say the food is always great and the drinks are always strong. I will say that seating is limited, space within the restaurant is limited but once again the food is good lol. Looking forward to many more visits, the service is bound to improve so if your in the area check the place out; suggestions include OTI sampler, Grilled Wings, calamari, sea food platter, some nights there’s even a DJ and an occasional balcony event. Suggestion is to call ahead because the waiting area is limted

I am a fan of Old Towne Inn. I stopped in on football Sunday after a golf round and had the fish and grits and the amazing cast iron corn bread with honey butter. The cat fish was HUGE and the grits were perfect, some of the better grits I’ve had in the area. They have a nice set up and I will be retuning soon in the future.

I visited for lunch. This is a great neighborhood establishment right by the court house… like literally. It’s not a cookie cutter chain restaurant, rather a place with its own local character. PARKING: Limited street parking(day time?) especially being located right next to the court house. FOOD: Great, tastes as if it was made from your aunt’s(or uncle’s!) kitchen. I had the salmon, mash and spinach. All tasty. I need to research what technically makes salmon blackened. …I hate asking for blackened salmon(thicker blackened coating of spices– Cheesecake Factory anyone?) and receive broiled, steamed, baked or slightly grilled salmon with some specks of ground black pepper. ATMOSPHERE: casual, laid back Decent sized bar! Customer service was nice and I saw the owner/chef. Didn’t get to speak to him though. I spied an enclosed patio area? I’ll be back! I want to come for the live music! Glad to check this off my bookmark/to try list.

One of my favorite restaurants, EVERYTHING on the menu is great. I’ve had everything from the crab stiffed salmon, the peach cobbler, the cornbread, all the salads. I’m sure I’ve tried 96% of the menu. If you like salmon they have several options. My faves are the rainbow trout, crab stuffed salmon, and the seafood Alfredo. The staff is very friendly, the quaint space makes it really feel like your local«cheers». Two nights a week a band performs, most enjoy it but it can be a bit overwhelming as the space is very small. They also serve brunch on the weekend which is stellar as well.

I absolutely love this spot! I sat at the bar and enjoyed every meal that came out! The wait time is a little longer when it’s very crowded but the food is well worth the wait. I enjoy and take pride in supporting black own establishments such as this one. I would encourage those who live in the area or who are passing by to check it out.
