I was advised by my primary doctor to visit a travel clinic for my upcoming trip abroad. B I believe this location has limited days available for office visits. When I called to make an appointment I was sent a link to complete my medical history. This will save a lot of time during your office visit. When I sat down to speak to the nurse I was given a spiral booklet specific for the area I was traveling to. The booklet contain a variety of information from disease/virus information to what to do if you are a victim of a crime. The nurse went over the major diseases/viruses and made recommendations based on my medical history and where in the country I was traveling to(i.e. urban areas vs rural areas). The nurse also made recommendations on other OTC medications I should consider purchasing. The nurse was knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions I had. They do not accept insurance. But will submit an insurance claim on your behalf.
