I used to like coming to this store, but lately it seems like the store has become very messy and unorganized and I haven’t been able to find any really good deals in here. The racks are very sloppy and it’s like your going on a scavenger hunt looking through the clothes.

I enjoy going to this Ross on my lunch break. But lately it’s been very difficult to do because they never have enough cashiers. I only have an hour, it doesn’t take long for me to find items to purchase. When I’m ready to check out, the line is so long and 15 or 20 minutes late coming back to work. They’re a lot of people that are shopping on their lunch breaks, so they should have more cashiers to accommodate during the week. Hopefully with the holiday season approaching they will be able to handle the crowds.

The fact I’m in line long enough to right this review is sad enough. This Ross has great finds I can’t lie but it’s worst then a thrift store. You’re constantly digging through shit for a great find. Again I expect that from a thrift store but not from a chain store. And the staff is slower than a dead body in a 5k run. Only a last resort place…

One of the best Ross stores in the DMV area. I have never left empty handed. I always find great bargains and the employees in the fitting area have always been pleasant. The store can be a little disorganized and items in the wrong area but I am sure that is due to the customers more so than the store. I took one star off as when I had to do a return on the 31st day with my receipt, the cashier advised that this item was no longer in the system and I could not get my full price as a store credit. I lost a few dollars. Not a big deal but I don’t appreciate having to show my license and sign when I had my receipt.

One of THE most ghetto Ross stores I have ever been in. This place looked like a discount hell hole. There were clothes thrown everywhere, boxes open with merchandise spilled on the floor, clothes in home goods, picture frames in shoes. This place was terrible. The cashiers were slow as frozen molasses and had no qualms with telling you that you are«out of luck.» Unprofessionalism abounds here. The pickings were really slim, so I don’t see myself schlepping from DC to come to this store. Invest in a swiffer for your sticky a** floor!

Ross has hiked up their prices and I don’t like it! Their merchandise used to be so reasonable and I used to want to buy up the whole store because their items were nice. Now? Not so much. They are lucky if they get 20 dollars a month out of me. The items they sell nowadays are all right, but they pale in comparison to what they used to carry. Call me nostalgic, I don’t care. This Ross is by no means professional. When an employee makes an announcement, it is literally laughable because that employee is likely loud and using improper English. I can recall one account vividly where the staff member said, «Attention Ross customers, please keep your kids with you when you shop because they are messing up the store! Please keep your kids with you!» All I could do is shake my head and giggle. In the back of my mind, though, I knew how distasteful and disgraceful that was. The staff is reasonably friendly. They aren’t trying to be your best friend, but they will speak and more than likely help you should you ask. The store usually looks relatively neat. It’s not the most immaculate place of business, but that’s to be expected since there really is no organization in those discount stores to begin with. This store almost never has enough cashiers; expect to wait in line for up to half an hour. Often times, the cashiers don’t know what button to push and will call someone(who is on another register) over to them, making the wait even more extensive. Oh, and they take their time removing the hangers from the clothing. Overall it’s a decent establishment and I visit something like twice a month.
