Needed to reinforce my sons dresser drawers he broke the bottoms. Found an employee in the building supplies section who turned out to be the Store manager Steve. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He helped us find the right size mdf board to fit into the drawer. He helped us to pull the face off the drawer and fit the board into the drawer securely. It was more secure then when we first bought it! Great job!

I’m editing my review after an update to the situation. I ordered something online for store pickup, which was not pulled. I cancelled it so I could just go in and buy it. I had used an e gift card to pay, and had to make several trips to the store and phone calls to try to get refunded. When I went to the store for the first time, the manager marked down the price on the item I was trying to buy, since I wasn’t being promptly refunded. Eventually, the store’s management got the situation fixed. I probably wont use store pickup again, but I will go back to the store.

This store is ok… not the best Ive been in. Some of the employees arent very knowledable in the area they are in charge of. One time I need plumbing help and the gentleman in that section wasnt very sure about the parts I needed. A lot of the others will walk by you and not ask if you need help. The only thing that isnt disappointing is that they’re never out of stock on anything i went looking for. The cashiers are prett friendly as well.

If I could give this experience zero stars I would. I’ve been standing in line at customer service desk for over 15 minutes and have yet to be able to be for because the customer in front of me comes with a list of 48 million items to be put on will call. There’s one individual working customer service desk. She has called and asked for back up support customer service ask twice. I have called from myself and speak with the manager twice one of those calls was not answered. We will not be back to the Home Depot and in fact we will search out a Lowe’s even further from our home in order to not have to deal with these people ever again.

I’m not sure why this store is getting less then 4 stars. I shop here all the time. It’s the closest HD from Calvert County/Prince Frederick Area. Home Depot is a DIY store. I’m a handyman type of person. I do pretty much everything myself. You need to have some DIY knowledge and understanding on tackling projects. Don’t expect to walk the f — - in HD and expect them to teach you how the build a deck if you never held a hammer. They try to put a competent person at every center. they put a general carpenter in the doors & windows, they put someone who’s good with paint in the paint center etc… As far as returns go. Idk, but I always overbuy on materials. Sometimes I buy stuff that I’m not even sure if I need. I always return items w/o a receipt. They pull the receipt from my HD credit card or reg credit card and it’s find. I’ve never been refused on a return. They take a big hit when they allow returns because if a customer opens something it has to be returned to vendor for re-packing. They lose money, esp if the customer damages the item and returns it. If you put gas in a piece of lawn equipment they can’t really re-sell this item. In addition you could have simply called the company, they usually are real good about getting you parts(for free) and repair it yourself… Also if you are purchasing a piece of gas equipment and don’t know how to do basic maintenance on it(fuel filter change, spark plugs, air filters, oil changes etc.), then don’t buy it, get something that plugs into the wall.

Not sure again why there are such low stars on the reviews but I didn’t online order and even though I had to wait a while for everything to be ready the customer service was awesome they were friendly and very helpful and when I am being treated good I can’t complain about slow service sometimes you take the good with the bad and I would definitely come back here again

I will never return to this home depot… after attempting to return a lawn mower that i was not satisfied with. The manager gave me the same run around as the other reviewer said«it had gas in it» umm really, how was i to know i would be unhappy with it if i didn’t attempt to use it? The manager actually treated me as if i was stupid by coming to the return counter after being summoned by the cashier for the return-he then sent me to tool repair so that i could stand there for 25mins waiting for the lady who works back there(after giving her the heads up, he walked away)…finally she comes to see what i need and listens to my wanting to return the mower, and then guess what? calls the manager… the same guy who was already there at the front counter and now here he is –Brian is his name. Well now he proceeds to give me the story of the gas having been in it and will not accept the return and that it is corporate policy. Didn’t he read the return policy about gas powered items needed to be returned within 30days(which of course i was well insided the timeline) Well it was insulting that he lied to me and that he treated me like an idiot and had me wait around in the store for 25mins, instead of telling me at the front counter that i couldn’t return it! Well, after this conversation i left, drove to another home depot, and had it returned within 5 mins. Hmmm i guess that was another home depot corporation they work for! Never will I purchase anything from this home depot again…

I’m often frustrated in this store; I’ve been shopping here for years, and sometimes it is a successful and convenient trip and other times it is complete and utter frustration. Interaction with the sales floor staff is usually hit or miss… either everyone is polite and will at least say hello, or everyone will completely ignore you. The plumbing department is terribly frustrating and I mean ALWAYS frustrating; good luck find the connector and pipe parts that you are looking for, nothing is ever in the right box and there is always that one last piece needed for a project that just can’t be found. On the last trip, I was poised to buy a large appliance that was on sale with a pretty good promotion, however, a brief interaction with a very unfriendly sales associated halted that action in its tracks. I left without purchasing the item. I keep shopping here because it’s a somewhat convenient location and the garden department rarely disappoints, but there is better service in the local competitors and the other area Home Depot stores.

If you’re in a hurry or pressed for time, don’t stop here. Self checkout doesn’t work, and one of every three items won’t scan with the cashier. I’ve been in here 11 times, regretted all but one and nearly left from the counter without purchases at least a half-dozen times. They offer a military discount every day(as opposed to some that only do it on select holidays), but that 10% isn’t worth it.
