Supreme Mulch

Wow. People either LOVE this place or HATE it. Well I can only give you my experience. I did not know how much I would need. They helped me figure out I needed 10 Yards. They had a cancellation and did the job the next business day. 8AM the truck arrives and we pick a spot to dump the mulch. I got the hardwood at 40.50 a yard INSTALLED. He dumped the load and took off. It was dark brown and smelled like mulch. About two hours later a team of 5 showed up and we installed the mulch on all the borders and beds. Took about 1 and a half hours to complete the job. They were professional and courteous. They also cleaned up the dump spot with an air blower. The leader went around and inspected the job along with myself. It was a very neat and tidy application. I was VERY pleased with the work and the product. I got a good and fair job. Personally I can recommend them based on MY experience.

Scumbags, i needed playground mulch called to order, was told by the guy on the phone that its certifiel high quality much, in his words «its even safe to eat». I wish i could make him eat what was brougth to me. They dumped a pile of rocks and dirt mixed with some old decaying mulch on my driveway. Some rocks are the size of my fist. There is no way this mulch is useful for anything rather than a landfill. Bunch of crooks. Also i think this company was called Creative Gardens Spring Valley before, since they share the same phone number. Check out bad reviews for that one. Also owner’s name is Sam just in case they decide to change their company name again. Do not buy from them!!! You’ve been warned.

Ordered mulch and the delivery guy was a jerk scolding me for not telling them ahead of time to send a small truck. How would I know what truck they should send? Then once the mulch was down (we spread it ourselves) we noticed that there were odd items in the mulch: cloth strips, sharp metal bits, other just weird stuff we couldn’t figure out what it was. We had to go through the already spread mulch and pick out objects. I would never use them again. If you do — then go through the mulch before they dump it in your driveway.

I came in this place expecting to get ripped off because I had been shopping around and prices at other places where crazy. When I walked in the staff greeted me and made me feel at home and then the shocking thing happened the owner of the company took my order answered all my crazy questions and gave me the best price out of every where I shopped around, and he topped it of by telling me if I find it cheaper he will beat their price. I was impressed then the truck came the driver was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in my life he dumped the mulch exactly where I wanted it and the mulch looked beautiful. After my landscaper spread it you could tell that these guys take pride in their product. They now have a customer for life

Can’t say enough good things about Sam or his company Supreme Mulch. We were looking to re-​mulch my daughter’s playground area and I was getting very high prices from local landscapers. We drove to the Upper Saddle River location and met Sam who was very helpful, friendly and accomodating. An hour later — as we didn’t know which mulch we wanted and had tons of questions — we had our mulch picked out and Sam not only gave me a great price on the mulch but also offered an installation option. A couple of weeks later, his truck showed up first thing in the morning to deliver the mulch as requested and within minutes a team of 6 workers showed up. Half an hour and 18 yards of mulch later, my daughter’s playground area was ready to go and we were thrilled. We’ll be back year after year and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

Order topsoil and received a truck full of dirt and rocks. Trying speak with the owner resulted in us being threatened and disrespected.
