high price.
didn’t have appropriate supplies, and told me I should provide… contract said only paint should
be supplied by us
took lots longer than it was supposed to
painting was careless, painted over sticky material and areas that should have been cleaned
and patched
when I complained, threatened to quit
left a door partially unpainted inside
complained constantly about paint that I chose
didn’t prepare the walls properly: said «it didn’t need it,» so now there is hair and other
crud that is painted over
only plus was the repair on the wall that was done well
BEWARE of letting them paint your wood shelves or cupboards. They ROLL instead of brush
it on very thick and it looks like the cupboard is made out of Styrofoam. I complained. They said «it’s supposed to look like that.» What is the world coming to? I painted this curio/​
cupboard years ago and it had a nice smooth finish the way painted surfaces should.
This technique is for their convenience… fast and easy.
I sanded down the cupboard thoroughly and repainted with a brush and it looks
much better now. Now I am going to have to do the doors because they put the paint
on so thick that they no longer closed… so all of that has to be sanded down and painted.
so what did I pay them for?

They said they would come out and paint the corners where the painter painted over glue
…I’m still waiting.
Why not just take pride in the work you do and make sure it’s done well? That way, I would refer you to others instead of writing a bad review.

I rec’d a coupon from this co. for $ 100 off of a paint job of $ 500 or more. When we had them come out to give us a quote, they quoted us $ 487… really!!! When I asked if they’d honor the $ 100 coupon, their response was «As of right now, your contract price is $ 487 plus tax, if you would like us to do some additional work to take your price up over $ 500 so that the coupon would applicable, let me know.» Nice! Who quotes $ 487 anyway? (as opposed to $ 475 or $ 500… obviously they are trying to get around honoring the coupon THEY distributed!)
