I recently attended a local event for a friend with a new business ribbon cutting and was extremely impressed with the precision and thoroughness of the entire process. Golden Openings really took the whole experience up several notches over what anyone could ever do on their own and made a rather mundane business event quite memorable. The event was very classy and had a really big crowd which was surprising based on the size and type of business it was. Wanting to know how my friend pulled this off by himself, he said everything was arranged by Golden Openings, from the invitations to those giant scissors, huge ribbons, decorations, and even the food. I didn’t know a business like this existed, but having experienced what a professional job they did, I don’t think anyone should plan events like this without them. Have been to many grand openings put on by the various chambers of commerce and none came close to this one. Its great when you are heading out to a business event you expect to be somewhat mundane and you’re just putting in an appearance, to have a surprisingly fun and celebratory experience.

After we filed a complaint with the BBB, Golden Openings offered to settle. Since we were tired of fighting about it and wanted the giant key out of our office we agreed. They refunded us $ 59, a little more than half the original purchase price of $ 109. They also paid for us to ship the key back to them. Unfortunately, we are still out $ 69 for expedited shipping and $ 50 for the customization on the key. In the end, the matter was settled but I still believe that their customer service could be greatly improved. If they had offered this solution to begin with instead of being rude and dismissing us we could have avoided a lot of frustration and headache on both sides.
