Kaplan University

i would never recommend kaplan to anybody! in fact i have another friend getting ready to jump on the same bandwagon as i, and will be transferring schools! sad part is, she is only 3 terms away from getting her bachelor’s with kaplan. luckily, i am not as far into school and transferring is much more *credit efficient* for me!!! while trying to transfer and being able to start my new school (by middle of may) i have found that your exit process is horrible!!! it is taking «up to 30 days» to complete one thing that i need done (which takes 24 hours to update through the federal website). i cannot start my new school until kaplan says i no longer receive financial aid there. this will push my education goals back 4 months if not completed by the start of my next term with my new school. i ask for an urgency placed on this and i still get the same response. «up to 30 days» in other words, kaplan will not expedite any process to cater to their students that «*wrongfully* chose kaplan university». today i spoke with another representive (making this atleast 5 times that i’ve spoken with kaplan). and she first stated she would put an urgency note on my account, some time later i asked if there was a note already on there and she said yes, but before this had told me there was nothing there and she would put an urgency note on there!!! lets see, they’re liars! liars that won’t expedite a simple «research» task to one person and help someone transfer out. lets not mention the fact the my new school will cost half the price for my bachelors and the professors will give a crap about you as a student as opposed to conforming and modeling you into their own personal beliefs. never mix your own opinions into the way that you teach. your proffessors or unprofessional at best!!!
