Bengee’s features many of the requisites to a good time: 1) No whining youngsters 2) Shuffleboard and quarter-operated barroom bowling games 3) A regular who periodically moseys over to the juke with his fanny pack full of quarters. You’d never guess a man so stout could be so light on his feet when the spirit moves him to put down his UC and dance. «That Lou Rawls is a great, great, great song.» 4) A bizarre woman who can’t wait to tell you about the time her hometown hosted the last«The Phish» concert ever. Her father got a new two-seater outhouse out of it. 5) Bar owner and bartender who regularly retreat into a mysterious side room. There’s a bunch of garlic hanging above that door. All the same, not one of those places you can really settle into for an evening. Despite the lovely lounge chairs. Take it in small doses.
